A complete disaster. I tend not to share my work on my personal page, but this travesty needs to be noted. Our aftercare group, “Jr. Explorers,” was both looking forward to and scheduled to go to Odyssey Fun Farm (under Odyssey Fun World) for their pumpkin patch. My staff contacted them multiple times for the last two weeks to ascertain and confirm the arrangements, and was assured of the price point, time, number of participants that compromised a group, and all other pertinent logistical info. in anticipation of our arrival. We get there, and everything was for not. The price point for a group not only wasn’t honored, they tried to double it! The terms and conditions communicated by OFW management was not met, and ultimately and shamefully, more than a dozen children were hurt and embarrassed, as we refused entry into an empty park. That’s right, they turned us all away and there was less than 10 people in the pumpkin patch at that time, no waitlist, no reservation, no nothing. They declined us because their team members gave us misinformation. From the frontline personnel to the manager (Amber), it was masterclass in disorganization. When we were turned away, we went to try and physically speak to a manager at the Odyssey Fun World office nearby, but they had their frontline staff at the ticket window and concession, screen our request multiple times, which was completely unprofessional. Once the manager came down, with backup I might add, she made no attempt to rectify it, address the lack of internal controls on who disperses what information, and refused to even entertain a compromise or work to arrange something at a later date. Our children, who eagerly awaited this trip, and the parents who put their faith in us to see it through, were cheated and sent home with nothing. I told the children as we headed home, to remember this day; “Sometimes, adults don’t keep their promises, but let this be lesson for you to always keep yours and don’t let others down.”

I didn’t quite like this place at all. When we arrived about 15 mins after opening, the doors were locked. I should’ve just left. An employee came and opened the door. It wasn’t clear where to purchase game cards and an employee couldn’t explain the different options either. I got the game card and utilized the ball pit gym area. This area was filthy. The floor didn’t look like it had been vacuumed. There was empty water and pop bottles located inside. There was chewed gum on the stairs to enter inside one of the tunnels. Duck tape was used to cover some areas that split open which is a little understandable but once the tape starts tearing apart maybe it should be fixed. The balls in the pit were so dirty, it looked spotty like mold. Games were also stealing points off our game card and not coming on. Needless to say I won’t be back and hope changes can be made.

This place that offers family Fun seems to be falling on hard times. Our visit last year was a lot better than yesterdays visit. It appears that the mini golf course is really declining. No water on the course and is not well maintained. Two bumper boats running and no batting cages. This was a prime Saturday. The price went up for the outdoors area and it seemed there were a lack of workers and attractions to make up for that price. The workers look less than engaged and care to be there. If you are going to close attractions down and only leave go karts running have more than 6-8 at one time. This will be the last time I visit this fun world. I would provide more comments but I’d like to keep it PG.

We brought my two children here on a Thursday. We had to pay $25 per person including adults. Game cards have a limit of tokens. Upstairs it is unlimited but the majority are just old school machine games...boring... especially for younger kids..outdoors was so dead. Nobody was outside and everything was closed. The indoor rides are nice my daughter had fun! I would say the best of everything was the indoor main level where you can use your limited tokens card! We really wish the outdoors was open. It was almost like a scary movie...a zombie movie...no people outdoors and all the entertainment areas closed. We were told the outdoors is going to open the Monday after the Thursday we went, but we don't know how true that is...Go and check it out for yourself!

Save your money and time folks, do not go there. That place is simply dirty. I was praying the whole time we were in (less than an hour) that my kids don't get sick by touching the handles, balls and everything else. Most of the attraction didn't work. The bumper cars had to be pushed by an employee to run, what a joke. Not to mention how unprofessional the manager was. I'm just wondering why this place is still open. It's obviously a hazardous scam waiting for an accident to happen.

This place is significantly deteriorated over the years. The outside needs major restoration. The workers sit around on their cell phones instead of watching the guest to ensure safety. My daughter got scratched sliding down one of the bouncy houses. The water on the water attractions is disgusting. The miniature gold course is dirty, and the “beautiful peaceful” scenery you are supposed to experience throughout golfing is non existent. There was a water hose running through a walkway that people could have tripped over. The equipment that no longer worked was visible and just left out even though it was obviously garbage. The benches with characters painted on them were fading and falling apart. It took about 30-45 minutes to get a hot dog and wings. I will not be back. You can get a safer and better experience anywhere else. It’s disappointing. I remember having so much fun when I was a kid.

Guys I have absolutely no words for this place okay. It was my sons birthday he’s special needs and has severe disabilities he wanted to do bumper cars and he couldn’t figure it out and the employee stayed with him the entire time helping him as he found it hilarious running into me then he wanted to play laser tag but couldn’t technically play because of the idea of it you know and guys I was with him letting my boy pretend it was him doing it suddenly someone is shooting and I saw what I’ve never played laser tag before either and never has my son because I knew he wasn’t capable and I just never knew how it was possible the gentleman employee geared up and literally played with us for over 20 minutes until my boy got tired he wouldn’t even accept a tip just wanted a good review as a lot of people went to gizmos guys for real come back to odyssey fun world these people are the absolute best. I’m so Happy I choose odyssey over gizmos even when gizmos was closer I just knew odyssey was more fit and it was amazing the kids had a blast and honestly we as parents did as well. We had a 13 year old special needs boy 10 year old special needs boy our 6 year old and our two year old and it was a fabulous time we wanted to go again for our 10 years old birthday but we have rsv I wish I remembered your name sir but you guys were all amazing and we are looking forward to our next visit.

My six year old grandson and I had a fantastic time. The people there were all so nice and friendly. We got there just before noon and it wasn't crowded at all. The rides were perfect. He was to young for a lot of the games but there was plenty to do. We had lunch there. It wasn't very good but it served its purpose. We can't wait to go back!

Absolutely loved Amaze! Wonderful experience! Tubing, adult hot chocolate, food, arcade, Train ride, candy shop. That also had Santas workshop where you can write and send letters to santa which is located inside the arcade!

I've been going here since I was a youngin and I can say my experiences here are amazing! So much has changed around the environment of the city but odyssey fun world has always stuck to its roots with things. My family came here for my sister's 18th birthday and we had a fabulous time. One thing's for sure you are never too old to have a great time 💯🔥

Kids will enjoy it that's for sure.... It cost $25 per person (adult or child) Paid $75 for 3 people. The play cards came with 50 credits loaded on each which you need the cards to play all the games and for rides. Games cost 3 and 4 credits to play. You pay at the door soon as you enter.

Very disappointed this season. It is July 6th and the outdoor area is looking run down. Only 1 half of the mini golf course is open and only 1 go kart track is open, and batting cages. When you pay $85 for 4 people for mini golf and go karts it's feels like a rip off. All the water features on the mini golf course are off. The hydro boat track is green and not in use. Never again will I go here or recommend it to friends and families. Also after the kids rode the karts at island raceway we noticed the karts are not well kept. Karts were dieing out on the track, kart eagle 9 was driving by itself thru the pits with no one on it....some of the 5 single person karts were super slow while the other 2 of them were running fast. And the staff doesn't watch what is going on they are busy sitting in empty karts in the pit snap chatting and facebooking....Not very enjoyable for the kids. Odyssey fun world you need to bring this place back to what it use to be. In my opinion this place deserves No Stars

This was the worst experience I’ve had with This place to this day. Due to Covid they can only have 50 guest. So they’ve raised all the prices and haven’t updated ANYTHING. PARENTS have to pay as well as the children. $15.99 to enter Odyssey then 24.99 to go play outside. They give you a $5 voucher as a discount for outside and a $5 food voucher as well as a $10 play card BUT most of the indoor attractions and games are down due to Covid. I was told we couldn’t just pay to go outside. I have small children so I couldn’t allow them to go outside by themselves! They’ve changed for the worst

Most disappointing experience for my little one who was so excited to go there so I wanted my daughter to have the best experience she can have and purchased the best package to only be let down half the games didn’t work when i finally got a technician and let him know about our bad experience his response was this happens a lot so we waited for him to finish what ever he was doing when he came back I showed him the games and let him know my daughter swiped her card a few times only for them not to work. I took him to another game we lost money on he told me the puck always gets stuck my daughter was so bummed she was ready to go after about 25min this was very disappointing especially since this use to be a great place to come hopefully they will get these things addressed for the amount of money I paid things should have been better

Extremely dirty. Games have duct tape holding them together and broke glass. I dont think this place has been cleaned in 10 yrs and I wouldn't be surprised if the games and rides were ever cleaned at all. For a place that is designed for kids number one priority should be cleanliness and it's obviously the last priority.

It's a really nice arcade. A lot of fun game options but primarily for younger kids. There are also snacks options inside and toys for purchase. Some of the games were not working though and restrooms were extremely dirty. We also visited the Amaze Light festival which is seasonal during winter times, and the arcade is part of it and located inside. Parking lot was kinda hard to find but if you ask the security around they can point you im the right direction. It is a dirt parking lot and you would need to walk for 10 min from there to the lights ground or take the trolley for 3 min ride but it comes on every 10 min. Once in they do have hot chocolate as a treat among other snacks and drinks but they were out of most of them. It's an outside company that was hired to provide those. There is a small show every 2 hours on the stage for the young kids. The VIP section is right across it. There is also a train ride for the little ones and some other activities, which you have to pay extra for. Definitely worth the money because it is a fun experience. You would need around 2 hours to explore all of the displays and fields.

It was really nice great for children and adults...A lot of fun...and it was to crowded we went on a Sunday evening. People are trying to find places to take their children where it is safe and this seemed like a nice place. Please people let it stay that way. Parents need some place to bring their children so they can be children and feel safe...The pizza was delicious my grandbaby loved it and and so did we. The staff was young African American people and they all were very helpful and friendly....(I had to put that out there for those who continue to think our young people aren't doing anything) They are and their doing it in a great way.

I had a birthday Party there on June 17, 2023. The host was horrible. She brought the pizza without drinks. I had to go upfront to get someone else to bring them. Then she said another party asked for there food at the same time. I had to asked for cups. She never came back to check on the party until 5:30. To tell me it's time to leave the room. A few minutes later she comes back and say you stayed in the room over your time and they charged you. Apparently it's up to you to leave the room at a certain time they don't come to inform you. The staff, including the manager said it's explained to you when you check in for the party. What is the point of having a host if you doing all the work. And they want you to tip your host. I even cleaned my tables and throw away my trash and all my decorations.

Upon entering, we didn't see any staff for ten mins, the rides are temporarily out of order, a handful of arcade games are out of order, the attendant disappeared for 45 min while my children and i we're trying to enter the tunnel part. I went through the tunnels with my children to find used bandaids, toilet tissue, baggies, food, gum, sticky substances, candy wrappers, etc. And, glass! There's an entire window shattered with cardboard over it but there's still glass pieces!

I just booked a double room for my daughter's 7th Birthday Party and everything was great! Pizza and service was great. My daughter had a blast and all 20 kids enjoyed it. Maybe parents was their first time and they loved it. Highly recommend this place for your kids parties!

The manager Clint was very rude and disrespectful when i arrived with my twin 3 yr olds my mom and our two certified service dogs. He wouldn't let us in i asked if i could show him their paperwork he said no. I asked what he needed to see to let us in and he replied ,"it's a flat no, that seevice dogs are not allowed." Both dogs are under 20lbs together. We decided to spend the day at Enchanted Castle instead. Where the staff was very nice let us all in. We spent the whole day there. About $500 spent. I want to add when we arrived at Odyssey we were the only ones there right when they opened. My mom offered to sit on a bench in front with the dogs and Clint still declined. Needless to say i will never return or recommend Odyssey. I even offered to only do the outside part with the dogs and he still declined. They have lost my business

When there is past Saturday for my sons birthday. I didn’t not like it all. Too expensive and only one ride worked. I ask the person when will the other rides be up and running again he said probably never. The food was okay and the drink tasted like water. The games was okay. On some of the game my money got stuck and the tickets. This is the worst location to got to . They know all the rides are not working why still charge that much money. The bumpers cars some work some didn’t. The worst experience with this place . Do wast your money or your time here!!! And some of the games wasn’t working. 😡

I had a novel- length review of the absolutely ridiculous experience of Amaze Light Festival at Odyssey Fun World in Tinley Park all ready to post, but the character limit wouldn't let me post everything, nor would Google reviews let me post my review in parts. So, bottom line on this experience: it did not come anywhere near close to delivering on it's advertised promises of fun, food, drink and cocktails. And an absolute rip off at $35 per ticket for an adult on top of the $20 parking in an enormous war torn lot. I had no ability whatsoever to get a refund should your tickets be canceled due to inclement weather. Save your money, stay home and order out some tasty food. You'll be much happier for it.

I am giving this place an one star rating because of how dirty it is. It is unacceptable for the amount of dirt and dust found in the play pen area and on each game. This place is only open 4 days a week and there is ample amount of time to thoroughly clean. Secondly, you would think they would have someone to clean the dining area to ensure food containers and dropped food are removed after people leave the area so that others can sit down to eat. NOPE....extremely filthy dining area and overcrowded. My last complaint is that they have not upgraded or replace broken items. I was shocked to see how much tape they are using to keep nets together in the play pen. Also, some safety nets zippers were broken putting kids at risk of injury. I didn't go there with the intentions of finding everything that I could find wrong but was VERY DISAPPOINTED TO ENCOUNTER SUCH FILTH AND BROKEN ITEMS SO WIDESPREAD AND NOT LIMITED TO JUST A FEW THINGS.

Had a party here for my son and daughter. Staff was nice and very helpful. It wasn’t too crowded which is great. Only thing I dislike is the party times. For the amount of money spent, party rooms should be at least 3-4 hrs vs 2 hrs. It feels rushed! But you can utilize the tables in the dining area when your party is over. Overall my kids and guest had a good time so I’m happy.

I wish I could give zero stars! I had my granddaughter party there & gnats were all over the place. The hostess sprayed something but that seem help. We ended up sitting on the outside to get away but they were at the tables as well. The manager said she couldn't do anything. I also emailed corporate & never received a response.

Great for the kids. They have lockers and a cafe. 2 floors of games and rides and a huge jungle jim/ball pit/tunnel playground with 4 floors of fun! I also thought it was nice they provide a quite room with a comfy couch. They also offer outdoor rides such as bumper boats, go karts, and inflatables. Love this place!

Things are different now due to COVID but the lines were short and quick. The go karts need to be replaced as some of them go slow while others are way faster which makes for an uncompetitive experience cause if you pick a slow cart you’ll loose no matter how fast you drive

My girlfriend and I agreed that the food was ok. Sad to see the stage gone, or I should say the New Rock-Afire Explosion show was removed. Stage is still there but just a screen in its place.

Nice facility for the kids. First time here. The workers here have no professionalism. for example , I went to the counter to order food. The person at the counter is not saying anything but standing there. I asked if I could order she said “I’m waiting for you to talk”. Eye rolling, can’t articulate a sentence well. Dated, run down, and broken are the 3 ways I'd describe this place. I've been here 4 times with my nephews, and each time it's gotten worse. The games are always eating tokens or not paying tickets. The staff try to make it right by reimbursing you for that, but the experience is lost when you can't play the games. Everyone knows that the prizes aren't worth the price you pay to play, but it's supposed to be fun (it's part of their name). We are never coming back.

I took my 3 and 5 year old here on 11/29/2014. We first discovered the place a couple years ago. At the time it was a little run down and dirty, but the kids enjoyed it and it seemed safe enough so we went back fairly regularly. We even had our daughter's 4th birthday party here. Since then it has gone downhill to the point where I no longer feel it's safe for the kids to play here. In the jungle gym there are multiple segments of the structure (including segments at the top) that are poorly taped off with signs like "do not enter". My children can't read, and shouldn't need to be able to read to play in the jungle gym safely. The new problem was a giant hole under the jungle gym in the middle of the padded floor, the solution... putting a couple wet floor signs next to it?? It's a shame the company will not put a few dollars back into cleaning up and maintaining the equipment. A jungle gym that is not safe and open for play is a deal breaker on a place created for children. It's more than a temporary issue as well, we were there about 6 months ago and the signs were on the jungle gym. I didn't go back for a while hoping they would get things fixed up by the next time we came but as it turns out it's even worse. We will not be returning.

Fun for younger children and families but your teenagers will probably make fun of you for bringing them. Go karts and bumper boats. 25/person

Had fun with my daughter's. First time here and so much things to do. I got them the wristbands and it was worth it especially since on Mondays they're $10 off.

Arrived at this place and I had to pay $20 when I am just there to watch 2 kids, it made no sense whatsoever they make adults pay for themselves. None of the rides were available, I called ahead of time and was told the rides were AVAILABLE. Will never go back

This place is amazing, but the only thing is that since Covid-19 you need to make a reservation to get in, and on the webpage don't said anything., or Google maps dosen't have this info.

It was nice to get out considering Covid 19 restrictions were still enacted. Loved the fact that it was very sparsely attended , on purpose. Didnt quite understand explanations of pricing . Went there specifically to enjoy Go-carts. Didn't happen. The pricing as explained by inside clerk as we understood it upon entry..was that we could pay an extra small fee then we could enjoy the go-carts Was far from small fee. Oh well..

$40 for two people to just play arcade games no ball pit and if you want to go out side another $25 per person to just have the go karts and bumper boats why charge to come inside why not just charge for go karts 😒

Is it ok to park right near next to the Water Tower without getting a ticket on the car from the village to view the trains on the hill?

This place was horrible. Most of the staff were friendly but we went miniature golfing and the course was disgusting! None of the water hazards were working. The caves were wet, Steps were rotting and dangerous. It was dirty. The tubes that you were supposed to hit your ball through were filled with balls so ours got stuck and we had to get another ball. It was a horrible experience.

I took a charter bus full of preschool kids and they had a blast!! I liked it because it was big but not hugely so where you would have to worry about losing kids. I would definitely recommend and also they have outdoor activities, weather permitting.

The first time I went to Odyssey fun World I had an overall poor experience. I went here with my girlfriend and her kid. Overall, the facility is old and outdated. Everywhere you see the concrete it is cracked and the paint is peeling—same goes for the walls and bricks. There wasn't a lot of people there. A lot of the games were not working. The laser tag was not fun because there wasn't any people to play with. A lot of the equipment was dirty and the whole facility was not clean. Bathrooms were disgusting. On a good note, the facility was huge and had a lot of things to do.

It's was Columbus Day/indigenous people day so I took my 7 year and 13 year old sons. Both of them wasn't to happy on what $30 each get you there. I was disappointed and honestly you are just better at getting a birthday party room. It wasn't really much to do everything is broken down. They need more games and if you paying $30 for a child to go in the Playland why is that not included since it has restrictions. Only small children can be over there but that's not what you get. This is like a overpriced Chuck e. Cheese.

I haven't been here in years. We went the other day and it was very fun. The games aren't too many points and you get a lot of tickets. Customer service was good. My only complaint is they really need to do a deep cleaning and paint inside and outside.

I'm going to have to go low on this place cool idea but half the games were not working and the employees might be kids them self but standing around hanging out is not teaching them about work . As my grandson didn't get to play the games he wanted . Waited on someone to get off there phone to run the coaster for my grandson not worth the 40 dollars . Just go spend some quality time at a city park for free. Ps my grandson had just as much fun if not more.

Outside of the nostalgia hype not living up to reality seeing this place now as the adult bringing the kid, it looks like they don't put much if any money into updating this place. I swear some things still have the same duct tape on the cushions from when I went here as a kid. Balls in the ball pit were filthy. The games at least didn't feel too pricey. Seems like the upstairs area doesn't have as much of a price hike compared to downstairs as it did when I was a kid. The prize section looks laughable. It has OK stuff, but nothing about it has that tractor beam effect that makes a kid demand more quarters for tokens (or now, points for the card).

This is a really cool place to take your kids. My 8 and 6 year old children loved it. The two wristbands and 100 tokens was the best 50 dollars spent in a long time. We spent four hours there and although a couple of games where out of order they still had one of the best arcades I've been to in a long time. Three of the four rides where operational and great for my kids. I had read most of the reviews before going and all I have to say is don't let them affect your decision on going. This place was acceptably clean and customer service was great. Keeping in mind there are so few employees and a huge customer base. I will be returning again and I love in Michigan. I'm only out here for work and family came to visit.

This place should either get 1 or 5 stars, so I settled on 3. 5 stars because I hate crowded kids places like this and this place was desolate! We had the entire place to ourselves! The kids could do whatever they wanted . .. kind of. Half the machines/ games did not work and you had to hunt down employees for rides. However that's fine and we had no problems with that. Also 5 stars for the employees working there. This job has got to suck big time and they were nice and pleasant. 1 star because it's just creepy. I felt like zombies may have appeared at any moment, but I may be embellishing a bit. If you don't like crowds, this is the place! If you want stuff to work beyond a mediocre level, this may not be the place for you.

The kids had fun, but I wouldn’t recommend having a birthday party here. We weren’t able to get into our room until around 12:25 due to a challenge the staff was having with another guest which required us to wait until it was resolved before they could support us. They apologized for the inconvenience, but given their structures around time, their apologies did little to support us. You only get the room for two hours which isn’t really enough time to set up and break down. The remaining two hours the kiddos can play. Like the other reviews name, the service isn’t the best, though our host was polite. I. Retrospect this is a good outing outside of a birthday party, but don’t ruin your kids’ special day by having the actual party here.

35 dollars for outside area. Time has not been kind to Odyssey Fun World. Outside area very run down. Go carts are ok but seem worn out. The water around the track is full of trash. Bumper boats in the same run down condition and the water a disgusting green color. I'm sure Covid had a lot to do with the place becoming fun down looking. Can't comment on the indoor part, but looks way nicer then the outside.

My card stop working close to close time, went to the window a worker told me hold on and didn't come back to the ticket area. At the prize counter they said they couldn't fix it. After like trying to figure it out for an hour, got to talk to a manager she said I should still have my point. Haven't been back to see if I actually do or I got my money taken

The playground area was filthy!!!! The balls black, dirt/debris underneath the ball pin and inside the playground! There an old balloon left inside from a previous day. We arrived when they opened. This area need to sanitized throughout. No was should this condition be acceptable for children to play in. Style arcade area was fine but the play area is unacceptable for any child!

It was so dirty. The rides was so old. Yall really need to upgrade. Yall are so wrong for charging all that money and those machines and games are old as me. Please close down and remodel. People please just visit it first before booking a party. It was so sad.
