If there was a negative rating I can give this place especially ever since it became John Amico, I would. The instructors are rigid especially the "manager/owner" - service has gone in the toilet. The instructor actually said my demographics require a lot of work and there were no women with my demographics present, the first come first serve seems discrimnatory and subjective. They intimidate the students and lead with total disregard for the client or any accommodation when students don't show up and those willing to perform the service but simply can't because teacher is not willing to be accomodating. Students make time for their own friends and family to do their hair for the hours and client sides suffer for those who are walkins and return with no service. This has happened to me at least three times. I will be taking my hair else where. Owner and teachers are unprofessional in their approach and this place is not worth the trip.

My hair was super dry and damaged due to previous bleaching. I came to Hailey Nowogurski for a trim, moisturizing and protein treatment and I was super satisfied! She did amazing talking me through everything and explaining the benefits of each product she added to my hair. She did recommend me to do this treatment for a few months until I was satisfied and honestly after the 1st visit, I saw a huge difference! 10/10 I recommend her!

Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience at this place. I asked for highlights and received copper !colored! roots. The student obviously didn't know what she was doing. I was aware that my hair would be done by a student. But my understanding was that the student would be supervised by the competent supervisor. I'm asking myself what kind of competency the supervisor had? I don't remember her name but she was a black lady with short red curly hair. I wont recommend her as a supervisor for highlights job. I spent 6 hours there giving them a chance to fix the highlights into blond as I wanted it initially. It looked like they more or less fixed the color when they styled my hair. Until I came home... The pictures say it all. Even the haircut leaves much to be desired. I went to a professional to fix my hair color into a more natural tone. The student strongly damaged my hair. The school offered several restoration treatments at no cost as an apology.

People dont give beauty college enough credit. I've had my hair dyed here a few times and I've never been disappointed. If you're on the fence, go check it out. Great hair at an affordable price! Lina and Irani did my hair this time. See my before and after.

I got my balayage here and am SO excited and happy with how it turned out. The process takes a tad longer since the students are being taught while doing your hair, but I didn't mind and listening to the teaching was actually really cool. The facility isn't the fanciest but still clean and spacious. I had two students working on my hair (Hailey and Angie) and I think the instructor was a really nice woman named Brit. All three were wonderful, nice, and super talented. I definitely recommend and will be returning!

I went in for a hair color a couple of days ago. It is just beautiful!! So many compliments! Funny thing is that no one even realizes it's the color - that's how natural it looks! Emili with the input of Miss Diana, consulted, asked me questions, took time to listen to me, and figured out the exact color I was hoping for. I can't say enough about the clean environment, the friendliness and welcoming atmosphere, but especially, the beautiful color Emili gave me. I can't wait to return for more of the services on their menu! Thank you, Emili and (Miss) Diana!

Had a great color, cut, and blow dry style by Alena. She took took her time and made sure everything was just perfect. She consulted with knowledgable teachers who provide great guidance. Very happy with the result.

Abigail E. was my stylist earlier and she did a fantastic job with my hair! The turn-out exceeded my expectations. She was really patient and knows what she's doing. Her instructors were very helpful too. Overall, the place offers quality service to their clients.

Abby did a good job with my daughter’s hair. Will come back here again. Lizbeth cut my hair, and she was very gentle. I wanted to have balayage done, but I was told I had to wait a little longer. I appreciated Liz’s, the other students and Ms. Bridget’s honesty and input as to why I have to wait.

I came in today as a first time client saw a young man named Marko. I came for a conditioning treatment but after doing a consultation with the school Director, I did cut color change and a treatment. He was great highly recommend and that the school directors assistance and professionalism was exceptional!! 10/10!

Brianna did a great job on my blonde highlights. She was polite, hard working, and detailed. I highly recommend her! Will definitely go back .

I went and got my hair permed. I had a great experience. Her name is Haley she introduced herself to me really well. Showed me to the chair told me she was going to get someone else to help her roll my hair. The other person's name is Abby. Both was very good. I have long hair, after they were done I didn't recognize myself. The perm came out so good that when I got home my husband said I was so beautiful. My sister said she didn't recognize me. I want to thank both of ther for doing a great job. Both will make great hairdressers. Thanks Ann

Abby was amazing. She listened to what I was telling her she understood what cut I wanted and then proceeded to produce it. We also discussed color and the next time I will make an appointment so that we can do the color.

Alondra did an awesome job in making my experience very memorable. She provided such a genuine service that leads me to believe she will have a bright future!

Kelsey Derosier did a great job, especially for the first time with me. I’ve got kind of eratically curly, wavy hair and a receding hairline. Scary stuff, but Kelsey got it just right! Definitely coming back!
