I can not rave enough about OSMC and their upmost professional medical staff. I contacted the office in Nappanee to set up a appointment. From the first call for an appointment, to entering the office for the first time the experience was AMAZING. Caring staff, smiling faces, and doctors, PA, and nurses who actually listen to your concerns and take the time for you. This was my third opinion on whether or not I needed a knee replacement. I was frustrated and was not finding answers elsewhere. Dr. Klaassen was straight forward and told me I needed a full knee replacement. I finally got the answer and help I wanted. He was honest, showed me my x-rays and wanted to know if I wanted to think about it..........I said nope lets get this scheduled. That day I walked out of the office with my surgery date, therapy dates, my follow up appointments, and a class to discuss and inform me of the knee replacement. Along with the office visits, the surgery center was amazing as well. Friendly, helpful, reassuring, patient, and comforting. I had my left knee done in January of 2023 and the experience and therapy went so well that I had my right knee done in April 2023. Again, I highly recommend OSMC for any of your orthopedics needs. Thank you for taking the time to listen to me and thank you for the wonderful, highly quality, professional team that made me feel welcomed and not just another patient that had a concern.

Definitely a 10. Our pastor, Wes Bontrager was so right about Mark Klaassen. Too bad we weren't going to church at Yellow Creek BEFORE I had Dr Kim replace my knee. Thank you for your care today. Everyone was very kind and caring.

I was extremely hesitant about going to my initial consultation at OSMC. The staff at the Nappanee location were very informative and friendly. I am overjoyed that Dr. Klaassen and his experienced team of specialists will be performing my upcoming surgeries. I would recommend OSMC and all their specialists to assist them with all their Orthopedic needs.

I would give this OSMC branch 5 stars because they superseded my expectations. Not only was the office staff hospitable and welcoming, but they answered any and all questions that I had. Dr. Cutcliffe was thorough in his assessment of my hand and treated me with respect. I was also seen within the first five minutes of my arrival.

Dr. Schrock is my pain management doc and I only trust him for my cortisone shots in my spine. No pain and no anxiety he is wonderful. Then when I had to have double fusion on my cervical spine Dr. Caldwell was perfect. That was in 2018 and from the minute I woke up from surgery never have had any problem and the pain was gone. My first major surgery and going thru the front of my neck was very scary. But Dr. Caldwell made my husband and I feel very comfortable with him. I have total faith and trust in these two Doctors. Now I am pretty sure I am in need of shoulder surgery from a fall last winter. Headed to see Dr. Stevenson, who is who I started with years ago when he told me my shoulder pain was coming from my spine and sent me to Dr. Schrock and then Dr. Caldwell. So he has never worked in me but he was right on with his diagnosis of it being my spine not my shoulder. So here we go again and I feel completely at ease in trusting in these doctors.

We have been a little “high maintenance” in the orthopedic department lately with injuries and joint replacement. We have had nothing but fantastic experiences with everyone we have seen at the Nappanee office. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. They have taken great care of our whole family!

Dr Stevenson is very nice and compassionate. He gets right to the problem and explains everything thoroughly. I am treated as a person, not a number or an interruption to their day.

Wait time is quick. Staff seem genuinely to care about me as a patient. Dr. Stevenson takes time to explain everything and allows the patient to decide how to proceed after giving the options. I love that!
