😠 I have Regency Medical Center as my primary care HMO doctor... and I have been a patient of theirs for over 10 years. I called this morning because I had a fever and flu like symptoms. They made me wait for 4 hours for an "Over the phone visit" Where they make me confirm that I am aware that I will... People often mention wait, Aziz, years, great,

Expect to wait an hour minimum just to see the nurse to take your blood pressure before your actual appointment. I'm not exaggerating, this has happened every single time I have come here without fail in the 7 years I have been forced to frequent this place. Nothing has changed. Also, forget about leaving a voicemail, it will never be returned. I go to the Palatine office when appointments are available in the window of time I need them to be. For some reason, every single thing about that facility is better despite them both being under the Regency umbrella and sharing most of the doctors between the two

All staff is professional and courteous. Doctors and PAs and Nurses are great! Nice offices and rooms. Pleasant atmosphere. Cannot think of anything to complain about. Sometimes wait is alittle long, but the care I receive is always worth it to me

Absolutely love this practice. I’m treated like I’m not just another person, but like my concerns are important. My experience has always been prompt and attentive care. Doc gives his undivided attention- and that’s rare!

My family has been going to Regency for over 15 years. Doctors Aziz and Patel are wonderful. The medical assistants are kind and caring. If you are in need of a diagnostic and knowledgeable primary physician Dr Aziz is simply the best. He’s kind, caring, listens to concerns, explains his approach, and answers any questions you have. He does not refer you to a specialist unless it’s necessary, explaining the tests he’s ordering and why. He can save you an extra appointment for an X-ray or ultrasound at times. If you are in need of an emergency appointment he will get you in. There’s a reason he has a lot of patients, GREAT QUALITY CARE, it’s hard to come by. I agree waiting is frustrating but once you, or a family member, need that emergency appointment you’ll be grateful. When you have a serious health condition, you’ll wait to see the best.

I’ve been to see Gail for a facial only a couple of and my face has never looked better! She recommended a clay mask for my skin and I absolutely love it

I absolutely love Regency! I see Carolyn and although she is normally running behind I don't mind the wait because she listens to you and genuinely cares about finding what best works for you. I highly recommend Carolyn!

I have Regency Medical Center as my primary care HMO doctor... and I have been a patient of theirs for over 10 years. I called this morning because I had a fever and flu like symptoms. They made me wait for 4 hours for an "Over the phone visit" Where they make me confirm that I am aware that I will be charged a co pay and it will be billed to my insurance as an "Office visit".. an hour after the visit is scheduled I get a call from Stephanie from the office, I am not sure what her role is, and she tells me that due to my fever and symptoms, I need to go to immediate care and pick up some mucinex. She said that they do not see sick patients at this time due to some of their other patients with Chemo and other issues. I asked her why I would go through 4 hours, a co pay, and billing my insurance for her to tell me that, and the only reason I contacted them is because I have HMO and I have to. She went back and forth with me telling me that antibiotics are not the only answer and that I need testing (which I need to go to a doctor for) because they do not do any sick patient visits. Why not just tell me that? Why bill my insurance and not help me and leave me hangout sick (102 fever) for hours?? Tell me that I do not have the flu and do not need meds until I get testing and they do not do that there... Not to mention.. she hung up on me.. yikes...

Our family has been seeing Dr. Aziz for the last 20 years now. My experience with all appointments has always been positive. The nurses were attentive, helpful, and competent. Dr. Aziz has always been courteous and friendly. He is very prompt in returning my calls and in getting results. He takes time to explain my diagnosis and the reason for tests that he wanted to order, and his treatment plan. Dr. Aziz is very thorough and interested in all we have to report. He asks great questions and provides new perspective on issues. I never felt rushed, only that he is professional and reassuring.

I've been going there for 15 years. Drs Aziz and Patel are great. They are very compassionate and know their medicine. Their staff and nurses are super nice. They always follow up to answer my questions or to see if they can help further. The wait is sometimes a little long but to me it's worth getting seen. The long wait shows that they are busy. And they are busy because they are that good.
