Great place to stop in an eat. Variety of subs an salads to chose from with a good price. The place does get busy during lunch hour so prep yourself bit otherwise I will be going back.

I was beyond surprised. Brett was very helpful. He made sure that my wife's allergies were watched out for. We tried four sandwiches and a side of chicken salad. The turkey and cheese with everything on it was my favorite. The Bert's beach was a great take on a Ruben. The cluck was piled with chicken and greens with a delicious honey mustard. The chick's luv salad was toasted with just the right combo of apples and nuts. This is a must try. I'm already wanting to go back for more.

Sandwiches were really good. Price was decent. Setting was in a neighborhood and literally a "shack" so the name fits. Small, family-owned and ran. Highly recommend!

Got here today at 10:58 and waited till 11:30 am . Nobody was opening I could here them when I tried calling the phone was off the hook. Very disappointed was excited to try this restaurant everyone was telling me about .

Several of us have been here before but not in years, so we decided to stop in for lunch. I ordered the Clucky You and was very impressed - sometimes sandwiches can have too much piled on that it’s overwhelming, but this one was a great blend of flavors. We ordered a caprese salad to share (balsamic was amazing!), and for there ordered the chicken salad and hammy sandwiches which were a hit! We had a party of six, which would have hit the limit for indoor seating. It did appear that they had outdoor seating, but just a heads up!

First visit. Was very good. A little pricey but was worth it. A small place, eat in, carry out, order ahead. The building next door you can also dune in, they deliver to your table after ordering at the counter. Give it a try.

With a name like Fatty Lumpkins, it has to be good! The food here is all top quality, and the staff are all very friendly. I would take Fatty Lumpkins sandwiches over nearly any other sandwich in the Muskegon area.

Ugh, this was disappointing. Tried this place for the first time today, and it was nothing special at all. Sent my fiance to pick up lunch, and I decided on the pastrami sandwich. The menu clearly says it's a HOT sandwich. When he ordered he was asked if he wanted the bread toasted, and he said no. Apparently that means all the meat is cold too? Yuck! A fatty meat like that tastes terrible cold. Yes, it's good quality meat, but not served as listed on the menu. He also had to add the Swiss cheese for 99 cents, which was soooo thin I thought it was paper left on my sandwich, and of course I couldn't taste it. And no pickles!?Overall, we probably don't go back. Prefer firehouse or jersey Mike's. Sadly disappointing.

The best place in town for sandwiches and soup! A great local place with a lot of options. Their specials are always fantastic and creative. You can’t go wrong with any of their soups either. The employees are knowledgable and friendly. They get busy quick, so sometimes there’s a wait, but it’s worth it every time!

After reading reviews and seeing their menu, I was looking forward to buying enough sandwiches for 2 meals. Teeny place in an old neighborhood and it was closed for an employee appreciation day. Bummer! But I had to appreciate a boss like that. Some day, I hope to get back there to actually eat the Pastrami sandwich and the Corned Beef one. But

Ordered online to hopefully speed up our lunch process. Waited patiently for 25 minutes after our pickup time to receive our order. Thankfully we weren't on a tight schedule. Delicious sandwiches!

This place is incredible. I was in muskegon for two weeks for work and I came here everyday for lunch. I had something different everyday and everything was amazing. The soup is so good I like the different options every day. Everything is homemade and tastes just that way. 10/10 would recommend every person who happens to be in muskegon try this place you wont be disappointed.

The spot is always amazing it is a tiny kitchen with extremely high-end goods the Buffalo Chicken special was amazing the bread the deli meats all extremely high-end the only drawback is it's a hole in the wall so there's not much dining room seating and you have to wait a little bit longer but it is well worth it

I took my friend there for her very first time, and her and her husband will definitely be going back. Best food ever, great service great atmosphere absolutely love this place. I would give it 10 Stars if I could.

Extremely good sandwiches in a casual but busy environment. The shop is on the small side, so during peak times it might feel like there isn't any room in the building. It's a friendly environment, and worth the wait. I normally call in an order in advance and go to pick it up later. Parking is limited and fills up quickly at the restaurant, but there is free street parking on the same block. Prices are fair for what you get. Definitely a local favorite of mine.

Best food in town and my new favorite, Fatty Chef Salad. Doesn't get any fresher than that. Great owner and staff, Also,can't wait until my Valentine gets home from work so we can dig into that Heart-shaped charcuterie...

everything was beyond my expectation 🌊 We ordered two sandwiches and two salads for the beach. One sandwich was a vegetarian sandwich which was so flavorful and delicious.

It might look like a run down area, but the food is so fresh, and the flavours are right on. Amazing food. I would definitely come back.

The turkey waldorf was AMAZING! There was a pretty good sized line, but once we ordered they were quick to make and bring out the food ❤❤

Large hoagie (which was enough for two people!), Chicken Caesar salad, and a side of coleslaw. Absolutely delicious 🤤 they use high quality ingredients, and don't skimp on the portions! The lettuce and spinach were crisp and fresh, the coleslaw was sweet and tangy with a nice crunch, and the hoagie... The flavors were spot on and the bread was soft and oh so good. Service was quick and polite, and their packaging is compostable. Can't say enough good things- will definitely be back soon!!!

I recently watched some great reviews of Fatty Lumpkins, decided to visit and they definitely lived up to those reviews! They have a couple smaller buildings and are located kind of on the edge of where residential meets commercial which automatically gave it a more homey feel to it. The owners and staff are quite friendly and engaging with customers and the menu was a bit more focused on doing a few things and doing them well.... at least based off the food I ordered! I highly recommend this place if you're ever in Muskegon and looking for a locally owned establishment

I have been eating here for years since they opened. And have never had anything go wrong, everything is always fresh and delicious. Big fan of the caprese salad and the chix love salad sandwich. This place is a must try.
