if i was on death row the strawberry Nutella waffle would be my last meal. this place is so fancy and i love talking about it and bringing new people to this place. it never disappoints! i’ll come multiple times a week and i always leave with a belly full of delicious food. the waitstaff is always amazing but a shout-out to Jesse as she’s my favorite

Amazing selection of breakfast, about the best there is!! Huge portions!! (Which is good because breakfast here isn't exactly cheap, but you DO get what you pay for!) Quality and flavor are OUTSTANDING!! Update May 14, 2023: Went to Egg Haven for Mother's Day and it was wonderful! Large portions, everyone loved the food, and plenty to take home!! The best breakfast place e around!!

I hade the stuffed biscuit and my wife had the omelet with the brie cheese. Oh my God, this was the best breakfast I've had in ages. Our food was amazing. Egg haven is amazing. We have loved them for years. We went again this morning for my wife’s birthday and we’re not disappointed.

One of the best brunch places in town. Excellent food choices and very nice customer service. When I first saw the price of the waffle I didn’t expect such a decent size cuz I wouldn’t have had this big in Chicago at the same price range. I recommend the berries waffle. The nearby GameStop is a plus if you are a gamer.

Great staff, great quality and tasting food. You feel welcome there and still bring you a paper if you need a break from being connected to your phone :) I need to support them more often, and don't forget the house made chips!

Passing thru and found this gem. Looks like an upscale restaurant, so cute. Check out the menu, everything looks delicious! Stopped in for take out breakfast, I ordered the egg, cheese, gravy smothered biscuits topped with a generous amount of bacon, and it comes with a huge order of hash browns, so delicious! Love this place ❤️

Had potatoes pancakes was good..I went here again for breakfast. I got there Farmers scramble. It was great. I'm here again for a waffle combo...it Great also. It's loud in here is the only thing I do not like.

Top place for breakfast in the city. Impossible to get in on sunday. Expect to spend $20 a person on breakfast. Food is good and they'll make whatever you want. They have fresh squeezed orange juice but the coffee is also delicious.

THE BEST PLACE TO EAT BREAKFAST especially in Dekalb County. One of the best places in Illinois. Food is great. Family friendly. I love the staff. The owner will come out from time to and greet people. You get your money's worth here. Stop being cheap.

Brought my young daughters here for breakfast. Glad to see that had gluten-free pancakes as one of my daughters is gluten-sensitive. In my opinion, the gluten-free cakes tasted better than the normal ones! I enjoyed the Avocado Toast (picture included). We were welcomed with a smile, service was quick and attentive. The food was great! We definitely will be going back!

Haven't been here in quite a while. I think they changed up their menu a bit. Anyway food is as good as I remember. I'm a pancake freak so I got their pancakes, they are delicious IMO. Oh and their butcher block omelet which is 5 eggs so their portions are huge. If you leave hungry then that's on you😄.Out server was fantastic kept coffee, and drinks filled. Big plus. Atmosphere is nice and quiet, which is what you want for breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place. It is probably my favorite breakfast Cafe.

Pete, the owner and his staff made this an amazing experience. Moved tables for us and even made the occasion special for my daughter who was having a bday breakfast. Will continue to go back! My whole family loves this place and that includes those who come to the area to visit. We always try to make Egg Haven a visit! Go here! You will not be disappointed!

The food here is pretty good, but it’s nothing special. I like coming here for brunch or breakfast with friends/family.

Everything was perfect. The food tasted as delicious as it looked. They were so generous with the portions and for a very reasonable price. Our waitress, I believe her name was Chenyah? was truly terrific. She was so sweet! Never had a better waitress. She was very attentive and had a wonderful sense of humor. Great experience!

Thick cut bacon. You walk in and it makes you feel like its too fancy to be there, but then you are greeted friendly and that goes away. They seat you, get you a drink, and bring you the paper. Food came out quickly and was delicious. I had one of the skillets and it came as a generous portion. Great place to stop for breakfast.
