They just recently moved to a bigger spot in the same strip mall, it's a large location with lots of room, has so much potential but sadly the staff at the site are very abrasive. I've been here a handful of times, and each time I feel weird vibes from the staff. They make you feel like your wasting their time. Everything here is pretty much marked up from standard retail costs by about 10%, so if you want to save money, buy online or from another store. Might not be a bad place for TCG tournaments but I just feel so put off by the staff I don't think I'll ever attend.

I have to say that this is one of the most disappointing stores I have ever visited in my search of retro video games. Several issues: everything they sell is inspected and sometimes doctored by a 3rd party. This means that virtually every single cartridge, disc, system etc is not at a competitive price. Let's just say it out loud, the prices are horrific. The sales staff is very friendly, very well trained. For better and for worse. Instead of having any sort of honest conversation, they have been trained/ are constantly compelled to explain why their prices are so high. In that sense, management has failed. We get it. This store offers virtually nothing to a retro gamer. However, there is one single thing they do offer at what I consider to be a fair value. A Sega Dreamcast with a warranty at 180 dollars. They force you to buy the warranty and it's packaged in the price. I hate to be so conclusive, but any savvy/self respecting retro video game enthusiast should avoid this place at all costs. Some simple leg work/due diligence will totally render this place useless. They have a section quartered off for nerds to play dungeons and dragons, and they stay open late to accommodate these nerds (nerdlingers), which is cool. If you are willing to squander some cash, I do trust their process. Otherwise, their selection is limited, and again, if you're a gamer, either call ahead or avoid this place. You're better off at any local pawn shop, or a real place of business that specializes in retro games. Owner is never anywhere to be found, and the staff are robotic. Good luck.

Really enjoyed shopping here, even though most things are overpriced and the owner is rude, though Cody was a nice dude to deal with. I've purchased quite a lot of older games here over the last few months, often walking away with $200+ of goods. Now I'm being accused of something I'm not even clear about because I've had to return 4 items of 50+ because they did not work correctly. Apparently I'm not "allowed" to shop here now, so proceed with caution. You may have legitimate trouble with some items they decide to sell, but don't have too many or they'll refuse you, too.

Bought a Nintendo 64 from them, ended up not needing it, tried to return it and was told I can only return it if it was sold to me not working. This is the most outrageous store policy I have ever heard . These people are just money hungry and unbelievable! Never going back again!

We had a simple get together for someone we lost. This is not a company that cares for the community at all.

These guys live for false advertising. They make posts on Facebook and Discord advertising Christmas Sale, but when you get to the store, they change all the prices. Came in because they had all boxes for a certain price, advertised on the usual channels. No mention of any restrictions/requirements. I come in, ask for a booster box, and suddenly the price shoots up extra $50 bucks. These guys prey on shoppers that don't know much and overcharge them. Please don't give these guys your business and money, because these predatory practices should not be encouraged. I'd rather make the drive to Bartlett and go to Forever Collectibles. At least you know what you get when you walk in. Shame on Everything Games and the owner is 100% not a good person. There's so many bad stories about the owner and my experience there confirmed them. Avoid!

Such a great family owned business!! My son really wanted to have a party on his birthday for the release of Brilliant Stars and after another local store failed us, Everything Games stepped up! My wife called them to ask about ordering stuff on such short notice and they accommodated us and got the stuff out on time. It arrived in great time and they gave my son and his friends a couple extra pins. They were so happy and it absolutely made their lives. We are incredibly grateful and appreciated everything they did for us.

I’ve been here a few times. First time I came here I bought a ps2 and ps1. When I came home both consoles were extremely dirty. I brought it to their attention and they apologized for inconvenience and offered to clean it if I brought it back which they did. So that was good. I also bought a game boy color from them in good condition. I stop by here and there to check it out but it is way overpriced in my opinion. They have a pretty decent sized collection of games and consoles and cards but it is pricey. Not reasonable pricing though.

We are all very lucky that this place is around. It is a fantastic go-to spot for everything games related. My kids are really into Pokémon and Magic cards so it is great for them and I can look at retro games and systems while they play at Commander night on Wednesdays. They even have baseball cards for those into that. Make sure you stop by and support you local game store instead of just buying everything online.

Big selection, friendly non-pushy, helpful knowledgeable service. Highly recommend for warhammer hobbyists.

Was looking for one piece cards. Was told they only sell it if you win a one piece tournament. Store has created rules where elitism is at the top and people who have top tier decks can get it alienating anyone who just wants to join the game.

Superb experience! My kids wanted to purchase individual Pokemon cards for the collection and picked up a couple booster packs. We also learned about the weekend league and purchased a Battle Academy set for practice! I'll be back for games and consoles!

Decent store if you're into these hobbies or activities. Bad place to do business. You get offered 40% cash value but I've never been treated that well. Closer to 20% personally. I get that the store takes a risk on it etc etc but some of the offers I've gotten made me just walk out. One time I was offered to sell $65 worth of complete games (Metroid, Zelda) for 15$ by one of the kind workers to at least cover gas wasted but the owner didn't want any part of that. He just wanted the 250$ lot I brought in for 50$. Guy still wanted to charge me a fee to replace gba battery even though I already went through the trouble of doing that myself. Zero business sense. No wonder the retro game choice is so slim here

This place has it all! Cards, Collectibles, and Consoles. What more could you ask for? The employees are knowledgeable, friendly, and inviting. Love coming and checking out all the old game cartridges and cards!

I came in with my 8 year old nephew and we had an incredible time walking around picking pokemon cards. My nephew was given a budget and he spend so much time figuring out exactly what he wanted(what a great gigantic collection!) and the employees were kind, patient, and informative. The aisles and product were so organized and it was so clean and spacious! I didn’t fear my nephew knocking anything down on accident. They brought down the little pokemon cards (booster pack not the big ones) hanging behind the register so he could really compare them and choose. My nephew felt seen and was really happy. When I secretly bought a plushie for my nephew they were quick and found an opaque bag so I could hide the surprise Quaxley. what I found most impressive was they clearly had a tournament going on at these tables, but they still had time to deal with us and our billion questions and back and forth. We will definitely come back!

Bought a sega and Star Wars Xbox 360 that work great! They’re a little heavy on their prices but overall great place to look for games, consoles, cards, collectibles, etc…

Great FLGS - the management, staff, store, and stock are all top notch! They’ve build a great community around tabletop games, board games, video games, and card games - def hit this place up!

My experiences with Everything Games have only ever been positive. Cody & Perry lead a team of very passionate individuals who show the utmost care in helping out their customers and nurturing a very healthy community of gamers. Keep up the great work my friends!

I went to this place based on the reviews. I will NEVER go back. Rude is an understatement, it was like I was doing them a favor by going in to this store. The prices are not that good to put up with their attitude. Other places in the area to go to. Stay away, they suck.

Awesome store with lots of different stuff, friendly staff, and busy tables on event nights. Pods are always a blast. They even have a random dice bin! 5/5.

Probably spent several hundred dollars here on Pokemon cards for my son. Today, my wife tries to return a $10 used Wii game and they are rude to her about it. Short sighted. $10 just cost you several hundred more dollars as i will be buying our stuff elsewhere now.

Wonderful store with everything displayed nicely. Comprehensive online database for cards and made it easy to find exactly what I was looking for. Staff was very down to earth and friendly, striking up conversations with everyone. Will be happy to come back and support this store.

Best shop in the Chicagoland area, and it isn't even close. Seriously, these people care about the community before profits and don't treat treat people like bags of money. Thank you EG!

A truly rude/terrible store. I tried to return a ps2 game that was not working and I was accused of purposely damaging the disc. I ended up taking my broken game home after the fake accusation by the rude manger who clearly discriminated against me. I do not recommend this place to anyone! This was a terrible experience that has left an horrible taste in my mouth. For the rest of my life I will shame this store for its lack of ethics and its rudeness.

This is a great shop with an extremely friendly player base, I really look forward to going here more. Also they have a cool system where if you buy into an even you get 10$ back in store credit! How cool is that!? Talk about rewarding loyal customers. I will definitely be going back.

Decent sized store with a large selection of tabletop games. However the video game selection, while diverse across many consoles, is only along one wall. If you're there for tabletop, there's lots on offer. If you're there for video games, it's a bit more limited. Still, decent prices and selection on what was there.

Probably my favorite store in the area. I've picked up both card game and video game stuff here, they often carry some hard to find hidden gems. Definitely worth dropping by for the great deals on Citadel Paints for Warhammer minis.

Awesome place. Everything is brand new. The space is huge with lots of tables for playing. Great products for purchase. Most importantly, the staff is helpful, professional, engaging, knowledgeable and make everyone feel welcome. So glad my son found this place. It was a pleasure bringing him here.

My husband and I love coming here and always find something good to leave with. We collect retro games, and we can always find a good deal, and the games are clean and have always worked with no issues. Everyone from the owner to the staff are always super friendly and helpful. My husband and I have even thought about getting into the card games or board games because every time we come here it looks so fun and there’s such a large selection. We have been coming here since well before the move and we love the new location, and look forward to coming back many more times in the future.
