    Smothered chicken tasted like jar gravy. No seasoning what so ever. Macaroni was dry. Corn muffin and sweet potatoes was all i tolerated to eat since i spent my money on it. Peach cobbler had the consistency of oatmeal. Punch was OVER sweet! Seriously disappointed bc I had heard such good things about this place but I will not be returning.

    Haven’t been here in years. The food tastes way better today than it did then. Service was good, food was good. Fried green tomatoes were amazing!! Turkey wings so tender and huge!!

    I was in town yesterday, so I stopped at Priscilla's and ordered 2 dinners, 2 desserts and 2 of your Obama teas. I was so disappointed.. Your fried chicken was too salty, the macaroni was extremely greasy, the green beans were undercooked, greasy and very garlicky. This is the worst I've ever experienced from you. Fifty dollars wasted. I threw all of it in the trash except the desserts. What happened to the quality of your good? Very disappointed 😞. And $6.00 for Obama tea is ridiculous. Does Obama know you are using his likeness?

    It's an honor to give my ratings to Priscilla's Ultimate Soul Food. I had food catered for my mom's repast. I want to start with thanking Tiffany the manager that I had the pleasure of working with. Tiffany is a complete jewel. She delivered top notch service to my family and I. The food was excellent and delivered on schedule. I had so many guest speaking highly about the taste and quality of the food. I look forward to continuing business with Priscilla's Ultimate Soul Food Restaurant. Thanks again Tiffany Love, Barbara

    Went on Sunday. Waited about 12 min to place my order and was out within 30. Got a catfish plate and a chicken wing plate. Food was very good.

    2.5 -3 Waited 45 minutes to get my food. That’s after I said sumthin at the 40 minute mark. My plate is the baked chicken. There’s white gravy you can put on it to make it smothered chicken. The cornbread, YASSS. Straight cornmeal, no sugar. The baked chicken was tender, fell away from bone, moist, and okay. The greens were okay. I’m used to a smoked meat taste. I like they weren’t over seasoned and I could add my own salt. The yams were, meh. They were soft and I could taste the nutmeg, not much cinnamon, and a little sweet and had a marshmallow taste. The potato salad was creamy but tangy, YASSS. The dressing, NO. Dressing was sweet. Sugar don’t go in dressing. Even if it’s a pinch’ish. My kids had the chicken. One plate is shown because they got the same thing. The chicken was crispy, seasoned, falling away from bone easy. The Mac and cheese was good to them as well. Overall the food was all right. It’s hard to get southern food up north. I’ll keep searching.

    The Short Ribs plus gravy had no flavor and the plate presentation was very poor. The Mac and Sweet Potatoes were good though. I gave a 3 really only because of the service! They were friendly and knowledgeable.

    I've been here many years ago and remember it being great. Went back on a Saturday at noon hoping for the same. I thought that the earlier I went the fresher the food. When I arrive the restaurant was empty even though there was a lot of traffic for pick ups. We went up to view the food and was disappointed to see it looked like the last of last night's meal. Dry, fish was curled up and nothing looked appetizing at all. I asked if fresh food would be coming out and the lady responded with we bring out as needed. I told her she needed some fresh fried white meat and freshly cooked spare ribs and walked out. Didn't see myself paying a bundle for what they were selling. Found another spot down the street that was amazing. I'm thinking if I had went later I wouldnt have had that prob. Just a heads up.

    Customer service goes a long way!!!If you as a business have horrible customer service skills and ok food.You definitely know 0 about having a successful business!A customers word of mouth is everything!!!!It can make and break any business!!! If you paid attention to the many dissatisfied customers you let walk out your restaurant you would definitely think twice, this day moving forward!!!Never let a customer leave your business unsatisfied.The multiple bad comments saved me today!I will never patronize any business that has horrible business skills. Only a fool leaves multiple customers dissatisfied. Priscilla's instead of praise the few good comments.You should definitely make it your business to pay attention to the multiple bad comments.Time to do better!!!

    Must be short staffed. However, the customer service was very unpleasant today. I witness Tiffany unprofessionally address an older woman expressing concern about charges on her receipt. The young lady working the register became frustrated with this same customer. The wait was horrible. I ordered online at 3:55pm and received notification my order would be ready at 4:16pm. I arrived at approximately 4:20pm. I waited in line to informed the cashier of my order picked for 5-7 minutes. She went to the back after taking my name and returned without the food and proceeded with taking another walk-in order. It was busy, people were complaining, and I figured they were short staff. At 5:07pm I return to the counter to see how much longer and was informed they were searching for my order in the system. At approximately 5:16pm I approached the counter and waited until 5:20pm when a staff member approached the counter and I asked was the food ready. They went to check and it was not. They explained to me the pork chops had not be prepared and to give them 20 minutes. Unfortunately, they've told another lady the same thing since I had arrived. I simply asked for my money back and everyone looked confused. They had to call Tiffany; they offered me the option of changing the meat. I asked how long it would take and they said 20 minutes. I declined and requested a refund again. I wrote down my online order number and name and was told it would be processed later. I couldn't wait any longer and had to rush out. I have yet to hear from them and will be returning when they open on tomorrow for my refund.

    The food was ok today. The wings were fried a little too hard & the dressing was too sweet & creamy. Last, I asked for pecan pie & got a sweet potato pie. I did look in the bag but was busy trying to separate the orders. The Halle tea is good.

    Cafeteria style restaurant with great service. Clean but a little run furniture. Service was phenomenal from the line servers, bus boy and gentleman running cashier. My husband and I had a good cheap date. I record the smothered chicken/pork chops, spicy pork greens, candy jams and macaroni and cheese. Very tasty.

    Very friendly and helpful staff. THE FOOD IS AMAZING! WE GOT 5 sides and fried chicken! Absolutely superb! The lady behind the counter was very helpful to make sure we tried their signature dishes! We will be back!

    I came in on 9/1 with my 2 children. The food wasn't bad but by the time I made it home I was mad at myself for not checking my 5 orders before I left. (Mainly because a bunch of ppl started to flood the place coming from a burial across the street) I specifically came in for the lima beans. Got alllllllll the way home in South Shore got home and discovered they didn't put my lima beans on the tray 🤬🤬🤬 other than that. I was satisfied

    Taylor and Grace were so nice I was looking for a reason to fuss but they gave me none. The food looked so good and my order was correct I wanted 2 eat it right in the lobby. I’m hooked. Miss the Hazelcrest location 2.

    We had our 30th year church anniversary and they provided the food. Tiffany was a great help and answered any questions we had leading up to the event. They delivered the food on time and everyone loved it. Will use them for any events we have in the future

    The wait was over an hour and a half and I placed it online prior to getting at the restaurant. I could include all of the details, but I’ll keep it short. Lady taking orders is rude and shouldn’t be working if she’s going to be rude and impatient, manager stepped out to speak to customer and was also condescending and rude, and did I mention the wait was over an hour and I had already placed it online? To top it all off, my order was also wrong. I LOVE supporting black businesses, but this was a perfect example of why we are failing. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter how good the food is if the customer service and wait time is terrible! I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and telling every person (specifically African American, aka this companies biggest target demographic) not to ever eat here again. The wait time and customer service for the money is not worth it.

    Main courses were pretty good the chicken and short rib, but the greens were bland and tasteless. The banana pudding was literally about 7 days old. Was very dark colored (almost black) and no texture. Just jelled together.

    I came in for fried green tomatoes a order of peach cobbler and a slice pecan pie. First I was told there a 15 minute wait on the tomatoes. So I asked for desserts only. After waiting 10 minutes I was told they didn't have either dessert. When I asked for a refund I was told I needed to wait for a manager and then the server needed to get someone to open the register, but then informed me that they found a slice of pecan pie. This was the worst service I have ever experienced. I will not ho back or ever recommend it.

    I once loved Priscillas all locations but something's changed in the jar few years, and it's not for the better. I always loved the consistency of the food but now it's more miss than hit. I'll still give them a try but not nearly as often. Hopefully things will get back to the standard it once had.

    My experience today was one of the worst I’ve ever had at any take-out business in my entire life. I'm not joking. I ordered my food at 12:30p and had a pickup time of 1:32pm. My order wasn't ready until after 3:30pm. I noticed others getting their food before me and had later pickup times than mine. First, the two workers they had upfront shouldn't be working a customer-facing role if they don't know a thing...literally...they kept telling customers that they “didn't know”. One lady said she doesn't know anything about online orders as she only takes in-house orders. The young man upfront was the nicest; however, he didn't have a clue about anything... absolutely clueless. The manager was asked to come out to address the disgruntled crowd and she told the young man "no" and that she was handling orders in the back. The crowd grew very angry. She then decided to come out to get things in order. Once the manager came out, she was very rude and extremely passive aggressive. She told me to stop talking as I was explaining my issue to her and I then requested my money back. She told me that there were no refunds and said I have to take it up with my credit card company. Her mission was to get the "Grubhub/Doordash and the like” orders out first. I waited over 2 hours and her priority was those orders who came after me. Unacceptable! Another customer told her that they needed more workers and she said "y'all ran them away". What manager says these things?! She kept saying slick and disrespectful things to the customers. Again, very unprofessional! Once she calmed down she asked for my information...they didn't even have it on their end, so she had to confirm it on my end to see if I ordered from another location. Once she noticed my order was placed and I had been waiting over two hours, she softened her attitude towards me. Then she retrieved my food and the prepper gave me the wrong order. Next, I was told that they were out of pound cake that I had paid for and did offer another desert, but I didn't want it. She offered extra sides, but I was so turned off that I didn’t want anything but to just get out of there. She did give me a large macaroni as there wasn’t any other deserts I wanted that I had paid for. Money down the drain as I didn’t get the desert that I had ordered/paid. This was my first time at this location as I used to visit the Hazel Crest location that is now closed. I've spent a lot of money with this business and, after today, I'm no longer patronizing and have started to tell my family/friends/church members the same. As one who is very well-versed in business, I tend to give grace when service isn't up to par. However, this experience was the worst customer service experience with management that I've ever witnessed in my life. You never know who you're servicing ...I'll just leave it at that. Please, do better.

    The food was decent..Id definitely order the catfish,wings and dressing again, but idk about the macaroni because it was sweet. I also had turkey greens which couldve been a bit more seasoned…I think thats supposed to be the banana pudding I ordered but im scared to eat it(hence the star rating)….I kno it gets mushy and bananas change but the presentation shouldve been way better than this and after stirring it up i know for a fact this is an old batch that shouldve been tossed a week ago…😒

    I order online ticket 4CBBF two meal on Nov. 20, 2022 totaling 43.08 cent .plus taxes…My turkey meal I ask for WING not dark drum stick which was dry !!! Which I do not eat. I call to the Hillside location and was not able to get any one to pick due to VMail messages saying line is full so I was not able to speak to anyone or leave message after several attempts. This is not satisfactory customer service if I’m ordering from Urber Eats. If I would had transportation I would drove there myself to return this meal. Very disappointed in customer service and meal ordered. And no answer when your calling Hillside locate on Roosevelt Rd.

    Wait times are absolutely terrible. I ordered ahead and still had to wait over an hour for my food. Absolutely ridiculous. Will not be coming back here ever. It's just not worth it Reply: That's not true. Only after waiting 20 minutes for my food was I told that you were sold out of rib tips. This was after first being told that you were preparing my order and it would be out any minute. How could you be preparing it if you were sold out? That's a lie. I asked for a refund after this but never got confirmation that I received the refund, the man just walked away. So I continued to wait. And please don't try to use this as an excuse for the wait times. Canceled order or not, this restaurant consistently has had terrible wait times for years. No food is good enough for awful service.

    The food was very good, I did have to wait a while before getting my shrimp. The ladies that served the food were very nice plus the cashier. The young guy that brought us water was very polite. Definitely will be back.

    My overall food was great. I ordered a side of potato salad and when I opened it, it looked creamy, but I'm thinking maybe they added the mayo while potatoes were still hot or over boiled the potatoes. I carried on and ate one spoon and it was terrible. I did let the rude cashier know and she called the manager and it was replaced to a side of macaroni to go. I made it to my destination and I got so sick nauseous, diarrhea, sweating. I'm sure it was from that potato salad that I ate, but I knew it was something wrong when I saw it looking all creamy. I will eat there again but never the potato salad. Hands down Chicken and waffles has the best potato salad. Please stop hiring rude people to work in your establishments. The cashier was very rude, and just because you're old doesn't mean you have to be rude, especially when someone is treating you nice.

    Purchased 2 catfish dinners from Priscilla's. The fish was too hard and not enjoyable. I finally talked to the manager. She said I would have had to bring the fish back to receive any consideration. That's ridiculous, who wants to go back to the restaurant while trying to enjoy dinner with your family. I buy food from Priscilla's all the time. However, this is really bad customer service.

    The food has gone down hill. Trash, trash, trash. I ordered my food on a Wednesday ( they are closed on Monday and Tuesday) . I ordered online and when I went to pick up my food, had to wait 20 more minutes. When I asked about the wait, no answer. Then my food appears. I ordered carry out and when I got home, ALL of my dinners were old entrees. The meat was dry. I know it was from 2 days ago. So you made me wait for all dried out catfish, liver and ribs? I remember coming here when I was younger. Great food and service. Now it’s trash. Not worth the money. If you do go, don’t go after it’s been closed a few days.

    The food was disgusting. I am surprised that this place is still open. My first time and I won’t ever return.The food was horrible ! Tiffany the manager was so rude to an older couple, the way she treated them was so unprofessional. The way she talked to the older man as if he was a kid! Unacceptable! I won’t ever come back again! I am coming back to update my review. I got sick and I threw up and my stomach started to hurt very bad

    Food was terrible. Tiffany the manager was terrible. Her attitude will lead that place right out of business! I haven’t been to this place in three years and after today, so won’t EVER return again! Greens tasteless. Meat covered in salt! Chicken undone! Don’t waste your time or money! Next day* Edit review I am not feeling well. Barely make it to the bathroom.

    Writing this review as I actually sit in the restaurant. Decided to Dine In since it’s back open but wait time can be as long as carry out so be prepared to wait. If you’re looking to do carry out I would strongly recommend ordering from their website and give an extra 10-15mins after the time they provide before it’s actually ready. The food is always good just be prepared to wait.

    The food was great however, getting your food when you do takeout is a bit crazy. There is no organized way for the counterperson to let you know your takeout order is ready. Also, there is no place to park at the park around the corner close to a block away from the restaurant.
