I am stuck at O'Hara Delta cargo waiting on a part for work. The flight is delayed, so I look for dinner. I found Paeadise Pub. My dad us2d to take me here in the 80s when I went to work with him. We always looked forward to this. Well , it is still amazing. The wait in line is worth it. I got the char burger with cheese and onions. I talked with a passing customer named Eddie who has been going to the Paradise Pub for the last 38 years we chatted, waiting for our orders. This is a must do location. Do not be scared off by the line and come hungry.

My son and I both got a burger and fries. It was very good, excellent bacon, nice thick patties. It seemed busy but we didn’t have to wait too long. We ate outside on a picnic table and enjoyed the smell of the burgers cooking inside!

Food: Came with a coworker and got burgers and hotdogs with the most perfect onion rings I’ve ever seen. This burger is super juicy and has this incredible sauce that makes it probably one of the best burgers I’ve had in the burbs. My coworker, who is a hotdog connoisseur, had a hotdog and said it’s definitely up there. Service: There is a consistent line here that moves efficiently. You order at a little window, and the food is ready relatively quickly. Atmosphere: It’s a little old wooden building with outdoor seating only on the side of a busy road, but it has tons of character! Feel free to share a table with others as there is limited seating! Parking is usually pretty packed as well!

Good burgers and it seems like you’d always have to wait in line here Juicy delicious burgers Recommend their fried side of mushrooms and peanut butter banana shake. I would skip on cheddar fries and get regular ones instead as cheddar was too salty

First time visiting/eating here today based on reviews read in Chicago Facebook groups. Had the Char American Burger (with grilled onions) and raspberry shake....both very good! Line was a little long when arrived, but moved quickly. Will definitely visit again when in the area. Will note that parking is tight; however, parked at a business few doors down and conveniently walked.

Given that I’m in the area and knowing that this place is popular on social media I can’t resist trying it out at first glance I know the infrastructure is older and not particularly outstanding based on my experience these businesses delivery quality food When I arrived there was a huge queue of people waiting to place an order thankfully I had called in ahead of time so I could avoid the mine and walk straight to the window dedicated to pick up orders the food wasn’t ready upon my arrival so I waited and observed the establishment I noticed due to limited space the business made an effort to accommodate by providing table for outdoor dining then the staffs waved at me to notify me that the food is ready so I left right away When I got home I instantly devoured the burger the first bite was incredible because I tasted the char grill patty the savory thick layer of merkts cheddar and the caramelized onion im glad they packed extra napkins because it was messy/juicy that I saw layer of burger juice on the bottom of the styrofoam container how erotic the fries were simple but good nothing to explain just crispy crinkle fries mildly salted I regret for not ordering a side of cheese to compliment with the fries It was sad as I took the last bite of the burger not knowing when I could get my hand on the juicy burger again and I’m glad I stopped by for lunch I have to say this is the best burger I ever had the end

Great cheeseburger and onion rings. They use Merks cheese. Lucky to be there with no line otherwise it can be 20 people deep. Recommended to order ahead if crunched for time.

Been coming here for years, the family works hard to put out the best product. Beefs better than johnnies, burgers are unmatched. Bakery fresh buns can’t be found anywhere else. Keep up the good work boys!

There are a few signs that you're about to have one of the best meals of your life. Paradise Pup checks all the boxes. 1) A line of customers - I have never gone here and been able to immediately order. They are a well oiled machine so the line moves quickly. Menu is pretty simple, so even a slow customer can't slow down the line. 2) Greasy bag - Nobody said this was a healthy meal. Your brown take out bag will be soaked with grease and fry oil by the time you get to your car. Always a good sign. 3) People eating in their cars - Going to PP is an ideal trip on a nice day. They have tables and chairs for people to eat outside. For the 8 months of the year with crummy weather, you will notice a lot of customers eating their meal in their car. It would be a sin to let your burger and fries get cold.

Just one bite of the 1/3 Char American burger 🍔 got me hooked & super glad I finally came to the right place & order the right thing! Even mom took just one bite & her eyes glisten because she said this Char Burger is better than Burger King & McDonald's. The fish sandwich with fries & paradise pup was just okay 👍.

You have to work for your great hamburger. Parking is tough. The Service plan has changed for covid and never went back. Serviceman work for the staff but not the customer. You have to group up waiting around outside bothering others who are eating. Something is just not right. I mean it needs to improve in the service end. The food is good BUT??? I think the prices are higher too.

There's moderate traffic at this place. We ordered Paradise Pups with fries. We were given a electronic device similar to a small Bose remote that vibrates and beeps when your order is ready. That way you can wait wherever you like and just go to the order window and pick up your order. It took about 8 minutes to get our order. The paradise pup hot dog was amazing and the fries were toasty on the outside and soft on the inside. The hotdog has everything including 2 small green peppers that weren't so hot, rather juicy and mild. Also had a big pickle and relish and I think something else but I don't remember. Highly recommend this place to try at least once.
