👍👍 I found this on a whim and am so glad I did. Once on the water, we were approached and asked if my kids wanted to drive the boat. The amount of time the captain took to explain the gadgets to my kids was amazing. They haven’t stopped talking about the boat ride and how they got to drive the boat.... People often mention boat, great, tour, cruise, time, sunset, friendly, recommend, Michigan, ride,

Awesome opportunity for adventure right in our backyard! Took sunset cruise that was a special event to see fireworks on the lakefront at Dunes. Front-row seats to the show, fabulous customer service, great boat with all the amenities you need! So much fun and great pic opportunities!!

Thank you for a wonderful experience of a night of cherished memories with our family. We’ve been coming to the Great Lakes for 7 years from St. Louis and finally did the sunset cruise. Staff was friendly. Music and waters were beautiful. We definitely recommend for families or even a romantic couple of hours. Thanks again!

After being away from the area for 12 years and coming back to visit I realized we had never been on a tour of Lake Michigan. This tour was so relaxing, felt longer than 1 hr 45 minutes and they talked just the right amount. I would have loved to have been out longer and would be willing to hire them again!

We thought this boat ride was just okay. I don’t think it is meant for the younger kids. Its long and not very entertaining for them. The views were beautiful but it’s just not for the younger kids. The speakers on the top deck are intensely loud.

I booked one of the Saturday Night Party Cruises with this company for a bachelor party, and everything about the cruise exceeded my expectations. All of the staff were super friendly and easygoing, the ticket cost was very reasonable for having an open bar, and the DJ was great and played all of our requests. This cruise definitely made for a night to remember, and I highly recommend using Harbor Country Adventures. Thank you to all of the staff that runs this, you guys are awesome!

We had a nice time on the sunset boat tour through Harbor County Adventures out of Michigan City. Nice views and they had live entertainment, a musician named George who sang & played guitar. We enjoyed the experience & it was a smooth ride.

I’ve been on two of these cruises in the last two months and they are worth every penny!! They are affordable, relaxing, and its almost like a mini-vacation. I plan to do a few more this year as well. The entertainment was perfect and the staff are all so happy and friendly. It’s a perfect date, family outing, friend event, co-workers, whatever!!!

Loved it! We enjoyed riding this boat tour. The price to ride was reasonable. There was plenty parking in the lot. We arrived early and didn't wait long. Also there were refereshments on the tour. It was very informative of the history surrounding the dunes. It was beautiful to see the sand dunes and lake Michigan. Highly recommend!

We live in Michigan City and we’ve wanted to do this boat tour for as long as it’s been sitting there docked at Millennium Park…so Father’s Day it is! Great views of our beautiful National Dunes Lakeshore! Fun facts are told about the dunes during the 11:00 a.m. tour with a park ranger. We love our proximity to Lake Michigan, it’s gorgeous! There are more tours offered that we would definitely enjoy! This is a must do if you are visiting MC!

The sunset tour was so relaxing! Amazing views and really nice live music the entire two hours. When we went, the closest bridge was closed due a crazy accident (someone basically tried to jump it as it was opening), and the owner explained that he was going to wait a little longer to depart to make sure everyone made it and said the crew was calling people to give alternate directions. Really went above and beyond.

My family went on the 10:00 am cruise with the Park Ranger. I highly recommend this for families. The Park Ranger provides an educational, enjoyable experience for all. The bar is also open for adults. The kids have a chance to drive the boat! A unique experience! Also a great way to view the dunes!

At the last minute we wanted a kayaking adventure and Harbor Country Adventures was the perfect place for us! From the first informative phone call, to the helpful friendly call when we were confused to find the location, and finally the ease and helpfulness of the entire staff to get us in kayaks and on the river in no time. Perfect mini adventure! Thanks Harbor Country Adventures! We’ll be back!

I enjoyed the cruise very much! The man narrating, forgot his name, was funny and very informative! The bathroom and boat was clean. All the docklands and young man behind concession counter, were very nice. Nice to be able to have a drink while cruising. I would highly recommend it,well worth the money!

My family and I decided to take the sunset cruise, I'm happy that we chose Sunday instead of Saturday because it was not my sold out, there was plenty of space so no one was right on top of one another. We really enjoyed the view/scenery, watching the sunset on the water was amazing. While they do not allow you to bring your own drinks aboard, they did not say anything about food. They do serve snacks and beverages, including adult beverages, there was a live band playing a well. It was a very relaxed experience aside from all of the gigantic spiders swinging from each window and perhaps sitting behind you. I think they can really stand to clean the spiders up a bit when they aren't out touring. That is my only complain and by the way the tour lasted 2 hours.

Took the 90 minute classic tour. The tour guide Bella gave some interesting information but also let us just enjoy the ride in peace. The captain let the kids steer the boat for a bit! On the way back we stood at the front of the boat and got splashed by the waves! Just an all around good family time!!!

We had a lovely time. We have done the sunset and party cruises before this was our first 4th of July fireworks cruise. So beautiful, very friendly staff, great entertainment, and gorgeous views.

We loved the boat tour. Mr Hickey ( hopefully got the name right) was so enjoyable as the host and told great stories! And the boat was incredibly clean and well maintained . Great price too! Very easy to book.

Definitely try to go for their Park Ranger led Tour! It runs once a day on the weekends, and it's an hour and a half. It was so informative, and we got a bunch of great views of the dunes we otherwise wouldn't have seen! Also the staff was so nice: we were running late and they held the boat a few minutes for us to join (after we called). I would 100% do it again, and recommend it to anyone!

I highly recommend gifting this for the special person in your life, or any occasion; it takes away the struggle of that hard to find gift! Any age will enjoy the lake ride and a little history between lots of easy listening music. Shaded seating in the vicinity of boarding, or it’s only a short walk to the beach so you could enjoy a picnic before or after at either place, or there’s great restaurants nearby!

Had a friend in town from Little Rock thought this would be fun. 7 of us purchased tickets 2 weeks a head of time. We called 2 days before to make sure everything was still on. The day of they called us 30 minutes before and told us the tour was canceled because of large waves. I found it a little peculiar that waves would be the reason when I live less than a mile away and there was absolutely no wind. We drove to Washington park, New buffalo, and silver beach. There were no waves anywhere. I also thought it was odd they just said we would get our money back and didnt offer to reschedule. Cut to a week later I still hadn't gotten a refund. I called and they said I was right and they didnt know how it got over looked but that they fixed it. That was yesterday, still nothing in my account or pending.

The boat captain (Jan) was wonderful! She was friendly and professional. The rest of the crew were great, too! It was an entertaining, relaxing and informative tour. We would recommend it highly!

A very well run operation. The sunset cruise was easy to book, sent clear instructions on boarding prior to our departure, had an attentive staff. We enjoyed a gorgeous sunset followed by a full moon. Show up at time of boarding for best seating options although there are great views anywhere on the boat.

The employees are wonderful. The kayaks and the wet bags were great! They helped you get in and out and they had a really great launch setup. But honestly, I am not crazy about that location at all. I just wanted the kayak in nature, not with all the big ships at Michigan City harbor. We didn't do jet skis, this is more for motorized adventures.

Such a hidden gem! We’ve driven by for decades without realizing how cool the area around the dock truly is. The boat ride exceeding expectations. The crew is very friendly and informative. Our Ranger kept everyone engaged and interested with interesting facts shared at key times throughout the tour. The Indiana shoreline looks fascinating from the lake. By looks alone, the sand mountains are captivating. The Ranger adds to the interest by adding perspective. There’s even a strong tie to Chicago’s World Fair which is great to see intact. The boat, Emita II, has its own history. The ride was smooth and pleasant. All facilities are kept clean and well maintained.

Group of one, rented a combo kayak/SUP for 2 hours. They gave me a dry bag for my valuables and answered all the questions I threw at them. The equipment was in excellent condition and easy for a beginner like me to handle, even on a windy day on Lake Michigan. Overall very helpful people and tons of fun for a great price.

We had a great cruise. Leah, the Park Ranger supplied us with lots of historic and anecdotal information. Captain Bill was friendly and made our kids feel at home. The boat was clean. Snacks were readily available and well-priced. This was an awesome way to spend an afternoon and see the dunes from a whole different perspective.

The evening couldn’t have been more perfect! From the time we walked up to purchase our fare to walking the plank to leave everything was outstanding! The boat was spacious and clean, and the music created a festive atmosphere. Jacob and crew were especially friendly! Michigan City, a great place to call my hometown!
