Very well located, within walking distance to the beautiful ancient tombs, Donggung palace, Wolji pond, Pink Muly field, Hwangnidan shopping and food streets. We booked a double room but got upgraded into a family room. Little space for luggage but nonetheless cosy and had all that we needed. Every bed came with a heated blanket which helped a lot as the weather was very cold. Breakfast is simple buffet style. Fruits, egg, cereal and sandwiches. Lady boss is very kind and helpful. Booked a cab for us and walked with us to wait for cab to Ktx station.

Beautiful and atmospheric place to stay. Small room, more Korean style, but clean with all necessary equipment: TV, air conditioner, fridge. Privat toilet.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this place. The hosts were very kind and helpful. There is a living room where we could talk with other travelers while having breakfast. This guesthouse has a superb service, location, and cleanness. Strongly recommended if you consider travelling to Gyeongju

Small but clean room. Friendly host. Ample heating during the cold season. Cook your own eggs in the morning. Lots of fruits for breakfast 😋.

Delightful. This is a small, family-run hanok hotel. It's in a perfect walkable location between Gyeongju's two large archaeology parks and near many bus stops. It's much quieter than the frenetic neighborhood just to the west, but one can still walk out to a convenience store, coffee, or restaurant. The hanok is meticulously clean. And the courtyard garden reflects a lovely artistic sensibility. It felt very personal and very personable. And the best part of the stay was breakfast. Everything was delicious, and there were so many fresh fruits and vegetables to enjoy. Imagine being in the kitchen of your mom, except she is a consummate hostess capable of feeding 12+ people without a fuss. We had so much energy for our day! The rooms are small, as would be expected for a hanok. For 1-2 people traveling together, they are perfect. For a family with children, a few nights is charming and helps one feel the atmosphere of this lovely city. But a longer stay might grow difficult unless 2 rooms were available. We would certainly stay again should we have the chance.

Really à beautiful place. The family who run the business is so wonderful. My planning was too short to exchange with them or with other guest but for sure, if I return to Gyeongju I will stop here if possible. I recommend this place to everyone.

Nice touristic korean cottage. Simple sleaping units in the old korean village style. You are encouraged to cook your breakfast eggs, or any style your like. Very friendly landlady. Nice place to stay.

It's a wonderful hanok home built traditional korean style with a very nice host. Breakfast of fresh fruits, toast with ham and sunny side up eggs was just the right wat to start my day. The host also pointed out the best place to go sightseeing

Very nice place. You stay in a traditional Korean "Hanok style" house in a calm neighbourhood and are still right in the middle of everything. Sights (e.g. tombs) and bus stops (e.g. for Namsan park) are around the corner, restaurants as well. Breakfast is wonderful, the rooms are more than clean. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the stay here!

We had the most pleasant stay in Dorandoran Guesthouse! It was an interesting experience to stay in a traditional Korean house. Lovely and very helpful hosts. Yummy breakfasts! Awesome location! Possibility to do your laundry. This is your best shot when staying in Gyeongju!

It’s well located, the price is fair, and the atmosphere is friendly. The room we slept in was big and comfortable, although there was a bit of smell. It’s next to the Silla remains, so you can go ther in the early morning to enjoy the area during a less busy time. The breakfast was fruits, eggs, bread and coffee. The staff is very kind and do their best with English. They have 3 cats which do not go into the rooms, but if you’re allergic you can get some itchy nose. 😪

Lovely place to stay! Room was clean and functional. Bed quite comfortable, full bath was a sink / shower combo with drain in floor - small but quite serviceable. Grounds are pretty and location is fantastic. Host was absolutely lovely- helpful, friendly. Breakfast was plentiful (with lots of fruit!) and while simple it became our favorite meal of the day.
