Delightful.
This
is
a
small,
family-run
hanok
hotel.
It's
in
a
perfect
walkable
location
between
Gyeongju's
two
large
archaeology
parks
and
near
many
bus
stops.
It's
much
quieter
than
the
frenetic
neighborhood
just
to
the
west,
but
one
can
still
walk
out
to
a
convenience
store,
coffee,
or
restaurant.
The
hanok
is
meticulously
clean.
And
the
courtyard
garden
reflects
a
lovely
artistic
sensibility.
It
felt
very
personal
and
very
personable.
And
the
best
part
of
the
stay
was
breakfast.
Everything
was
delicious,
and
there
were
so
many
fresh
fruits
and
vegetables
to
enjoy.
Imagine
being
in
the
kitchen
of
your
mom,
except
she
is
a
consummate
hostess
capable
of
feeding
12+
people
without
a
fuss.
We
had
so
much
energy
for
our
day!
The
rooms
are
small,
as
would
be
expected
for
a
hanok.
For
1-2
people
traveling
together,
they
are
perfect.
For
a
family
with
children,
a
few
nights
is
charming
and
helps
one
feel
the
atmosphere
of
this
lovely
city.
But
a
longer
stay
might
grow
difficult
unless
2
rooms
were
available.
We
would
certainly
stay
again
should
we
have
the
chance.
