First pizza of the year, and it's incredible! I've never had Shelly Pie, but I've heard great reviews and it absolutely lived up to the hype. It's everything you want in a pizza place: good variety of toppings, good crust, nice sauce, menu items other than pizza, etc. I tried the classic cheese pizza and a cheese calzone. Both of them were excellent. The pizza is absolutely humongous! A large, which is $15, was a whopping 19"! Other places have that size at $22...great deal here! The our crust is thicker than average but it's quality. They are heavy on the cheese, which I personally like. Expect it to be messy as they are also pretty liberal with the sauce and very liberal with toppings from what I've seen. When the box came I did notice the pizza isn't perfectly uniform, but honestly, who cares? It tastes great and they use quality ingredient, offer good flavors, and fantastic prices. The calzone was also great. Very large! I shared mine and 1/2 a calzone is enough for a filling meal. It is stuffed with a whole lot of (mozzarella I think) cheese and ricotta. The bread part if the calzone was crispy and had butter and/or garlic in the top. Perfect. Heavy and delicious. The sauce was also wonderful. Came with a whole mini bowl of it, and the sauce had a nice sweetness with some herbs too. Overall, you can't beat these portion sizes or prices. Plenty of high quality leftovers. While someone in my household didn't love it, I thought it was great (said it looked sloppy and poorly made, but again, why does it really matter). Anytime I'm in Turtle Creek, I'll try to stop by!

Can not give enough accolades to the staff and especially our waitress. There were 9 of us for dinner and the restaurant was very busy , but she made us feel pampered , delivered our food quickly, and was very efficient. They are many different menu options and we can't wait to revisit.

We got the EBUT pie and garlic knots! Insanely huge but plenty of good eating for days after!! Even as delicious cold! If you truly want some good food go to Shelly Pie!!! Wow eating experience.

Gave them an extra star for toppings, but the crust is doughy, watery slop. Not recommended if you actually like to pick up a slice of pizza and eat it. Wet slop. Really? I can at least toss dough and cook a pizza properly. Look at the pics I posted, the dough is literally raw. Maybe in the seedy ghost town you are in you might be the best, but your only competition is an Indian chicken sandwich grease shop and a mini mart.

Picasso and Salvador Dalí themselves teamed up to make this goofy pizza into an art installation. Crust was underdone and very doughy. Tasted fine otherwise. It WAS a Saturday evening, so I imagine they were just in a crazy rush, since the other reviews are generally very high. It was definitely a good conversational piece!

I love this place, and it's great that there's a full-service restaurant in Turtle Creek. It has been a long time since we've had one of those. The last one was Pat's Place, and that one has been closed since I was a teen. The pizza is amazing. It may seem expensive at first, but when you see what you get and realize it will feed you for at least 4 meals, it's actually very economical. If you choose your toppings right, one or two slices is a full meal, because these guys don't skimp. The last time I had a sit-down meal here, my server was amazing. I also love that during the pandemic lockdown, they sold cookies to support their workers, and were proactive in setting up measures to keep everyone safe. Finally, their sandwiches and entrees are great. Some of their appetizers aren't much to write home about, but the quality and tastiness of the rest of it makes up for that.

This pizza is addictive!! I can never eat more than one or two slices they’re huge and packed with toppings and cheese. Crust is delicious dipped in ranch or marinara. Salads, sides, apps just all around great! Great service and employees whether it be dine in or take out. They take care of their customers ! Not only that, but during COVID they provided our fire department with 3 huge free pizzas. Big shout out to Lisa and Keri! If you ever dine in ask for Keri she will take care of you with a smile. Don’t skip on this place.

Delicious pizza! Fantastic waiter! My only ding is this-the charge for pop refills and NOT being told there is a charge. The wedding soup touches your soul and gives a nod to your Italian grandmother from the great beyond. Soft pretzels were ok. I loved the informational “how-to” on ordering pizza located on the menu!! Updated pizza review.. here goes: (These are all based on a scale of 1-5, with 1 being the worst and 5 the best.) Thickness of the dough: 5 Crust thickness: 3 a little too thick for my preference Toppings ratio: 3 they use a lot of pepperoni Crispiness: 5 (not crispy at all-which i like) Flavor:5 Price: 4 Size: 5 Crust overall: 3 Freshness:5

It was average at best maybe it was because my pizza set too long but when they tell you 45 minutes and then you get a text 10 minutes later it says it's done there's something wrong with it it's definitely not Vincent's Pizza

I just want to say what a wonderful experience I had tonight. There was a group of 20 of us and everything was perfect from start to finish. From making the reservations with Joe who I called a few times and he was pleasant and very accomadating. Our waitress was amazing. She did not mess up anything from drinks, dinners and even the separate checks. The kitchen was busy but Joe still stopped by to check in on us. The food was AMAZING as usual!

Now that they have small pizzas (I can't remember if they had them before lol), I am back in love with Shelly Pie. I'm a crust girl and that thick billowy crust works best on a smaller pie. The bigger pies get a bit soupy in the middle. I broil it at home to caramelize the cheese but the dough underneath stays "doughy" no matter what. The rest of their menu looks great too so I will be trying other things soon. I am a bit closer now than before so I will be a regular again. Too bad my late hubby isn't here to share. He loved the bacon pizza.

Easily one of the best pizza places within fifty miles of Pittsburgh. It's my personal favorite pizza shop. Any time we get takeout or we dine in, the experience is always above the rest in quality, flavor, and atmosphere.

Best pizza I've had for a couple of years ! Just pepperoni & extra cheese for me please! The hot pepper cheese balls were yummy too! I thought this was just a small pizza shop but they have a full menu with a full bar. Cold beer on tap, Sam Adams Sumner Ale was perfect on an 85° humid Pgh day to wash down my pizza !

My wife brought me home a Steak hoagie and four cuts. Heated the next day was pretty good, I would prefer my pizza crust thicker as it was very thin and you had to eat with a fork. But flavor of it all was great! Pizza reminded me of the place on Rt 30. I would like to come to the restaurant for Sicilian and eat fresh.

I've been looking for good pizza in Turtle Creek and finally found it! A full service pizza restaurant with great food (20% off eating in for veterans!) and drink specials during all Pittsburgh sports. Highly, highly recommended!

This old-school pizza shop reminds me of good childhood memories of going to places like this. With so many franchises, this was a welcomed change to meet a friend and share. Good traditional homemade pizza.

The pizza here is really good. Hand tossed dough that when they drop it on the peel they leave it in that shape. No round pizza here. Very good though. When you see the building you wouldn't think it was a pizza place.

The steak salad and Reubens were pretty good. The soups and chili are good. The pizza, cheese, sauce, toppings, and crust are good but the center is soggy.

This review is in response to the one I had posted (and since deleted) earlier. Maybe you are correct in that I hadn't posted a 5 star review in the past, although I thought I had, because I leave lots of reviews and give credit when deserved. I did not call your store to complain about the issues with the food the other night. I was angry. I should have made you aware so you could have corrected the problem. I've since given you a much better review. I'm not going into all the details of my previous post, but I surely would be appreciative of some type of replacement order in the future, as I really like your food and have always been extremely happy with the customer service. I jumped the gun with the earlier 1 star review without giving you the opportunity to correct it. My apologies.

Disgusting experince. Never again. I got home from work ready to dig in from what was left and was introduce to this. I can't believe my nephew and little brother ate some of it. I threw the rest away. Those are suppose to be banana peppers by the way.

I tried to come here a couple years ago and they closed early because of snow. The owner Shelly told me to come back and the pizza was on her the next time. We went back today and she honored her work and we ordered a fabulous pizza that she took care of and an Italian hoagie and a couple drinks. We will be back and will send our friends. Thanks again for being a great business.

Nothing special from the pizza we got. The cheese was inconsistent and almost too thick to chew, the crust was thin and was all pushed out to the edges, which were too thick and burnt on top. It tasted okay compared to some, but not worth buying. The box from the "medium" was too big to fit in a large fridge and was soft and soaked in the middle from the greese.

I’ve been reading the reviews w my wife after dining in instead of pick-up, hoping for a cooked pizza. It’s been a half dozen pizzas and always the same; charred, that’s how Shelly describes it, and the rest unbaked. We asked for sauce to the edge to avoid 3” of topping to 3” of crust and the hope the pie would baked through. Even the crust was only close to done. It’s hard to figure when the reasons are “our oven isn’t working correctly, our pizzas are each unique, we want to train our employees, or did you tell a manager?” For us it’s been the same for too many times. The pizza comes off as thrown together, unbaked, lacking sauce. When so many reviews complain raw, under-baked, doughy; why not fix it? If only we didn’t have to travel to Squirrel Hill for satisfying pizza. We’re done with Shelly’s pie.

I hadn't gotten around to writing a review when my brother and I ordered here a few weeks ago but wanted to make sure to compliment the pizza here. We ordered both a Sicilian pie and a regular pepperoni pie and both exceeded expectations. The pepperoni was plentiful and both were delicious. I would not hesitate to order again next time I am in the area.

I came here for the first time with my family. It’s very clean, has an updated atmosphere, and the employees are VERY friendly - especially to my screaming, but happy 9 month old. Quick service. Decent prices. We got a pizza, stuffed shells, and two apps during the Happy hour. We considered coming here since it’s similar to Vincent’s without additional drive time. I would go back!

Service is always top notch. We had Garlic Knots. Wife loved them. In hind sight she said she should have asked for a red sauce. The big pretzels were great too. As well as the Hot Pepper Cheese balls. My Rachel was really not my cup of tea. Everyone makes them a little different. Wouldn't order again. My onion rings and sauce was super good. Back to the pizza next time.

Approximately one year ago I ordered takeout and it was the worst pizza I had ever tasted. It was wet and runny. I lost my taste for pizza for a long time after trying to eat it. I will never be back. People had told me it was very good. I prefer frozen pizza from the grocery stores. I was very disappointed.

I bought a quart of wedding soup, the container was not full it was 90% broth and it only had 2 meatballs for $12.00

Got 2 pizzas for take out. There were tons of toppings. Pizza was pretty good but some of the crust wasn't cooked. It was still doughy. Like raw dough bites. Not sure if this is the way it's supposed to be but we have to recook it back at our house. After we recooked it, it was real good. Boxes were soaked too.
