The island of Mussulo Island is truly a paradise. In this specific place, you can enjoy way more than just the sun, the sand and the sea. There’s a fantastic restaurant that has amazing hamburgers, Angolan and Portuguese cuisine. If your not hungry, there’s a bar that serve great cocktails, not to mention the welcoming drinks. Very pleasant and friendly service. Ah, there a cabin that sales swimming customs and local hand made dresses and many more.

Best resort in the moussulo area, good beach front, nice bar and restaurant. VERY CLEAN STAFF SERVING DRINKS AND FOOD!

Located on the mussulo island, Roca das mangueiras is just the best spot in the luanda province to take break for a couple of days. The resort is not allowed outside foods to use by individuals. 1. Rooms Good quality 2. Hospitality is good 3. Foods Breakfast, Lunch, & dinner best quality

I had not being to this spot for about 3 years. Although the venue continues beautiful the service we received was terrible. They had our arrival wrong (workshop was due to start at 08:30 but when we got there to get the boat, staff said they were only expexting us at 9:30. We arrived and the room was not set up, breafast wasnt the as agreed. At lunch time they did not make the fish or meat option we agreed on. There was no internet. Staff at the restaurant was not well trained. I requested that they remaining of the afternoon coffee break was put aside for consumption later. We went away for 2 hours when we came back the food was gone and no one took responsibility for the incident. It will be another 3 years before i organise another event there. Hopefully things will be improved. It's such a shame as it is a beautiful place. Although expensive. The cheapest standard room for 2 is 50,000kz around $160-175.

Great venue/location, big clean and nicely designed facilities; provides a feeling of being in a natural, densely forrest surrounds with piece and quiet in Mussulo Island only 10 mins away from Luanda. Not given 5* because despite the beautiful facilities, the non corporate client the service needs improvement - some restrictions don't make sense and people can be treated differently (i.e. they don't accept birthday cakes...for birthdays !), responses can be slow and customer services take too long to respond.

Food and drink are decent but very, very slow service. It pays to go to the VIP service to and from the mainland.
