The Cathedral's museum is really amazing, shows you how important was Sucre in it's golden age

Definitely go visit the roof of this cathedral. A little tip we got was to go up on the last visit to the roof at 6pm and you also get the sunset. Did not disappoint. Enjoy :)

Went on the tour of the mirador (viewpoint). At 5:30pm they take you straight to the mirador, no museum pet FYI. The mirador is amazing, it's actually not a flat rooftop but you can walk around the domes on top. I've never seen anything like that, 100% recommend. Also, the views of the city are nice.

*reviewing as a non-Spanish speaker*; the guided tour may be better if you are a Spanish speaker. There are really no signs to give context in either Spanish or English. Each room is interesting, but there is no context or history to inform visitors about the art collection or the building. It is beautiful but we learned very little despite searching for context Everywhere where we could!

Comparing to other iglesias/convents around, this was quite disappointing. It’s opened only on Sundays 8am-12pm, and I was looking forward to visit. Please, don’t. Just explore around instead.

Excellent self-guided tour of: rooms filled with religious relics and art work, side chapels, and the cathedral itself. Cost is 40 Bo. Don't miss it!

The Cathedral has a small museum attached with historical ornaments and paintings. The choir behind the althar is very nice.
