Me and my friends visited here last month. I was surprised by the maintenance of the villas and I loved the greenery over there. We had a party at the pool and it went fab!! The staff and the management were so polite and cooperative. The food was soo good and the chef had made the food with some specifications that we had for the food. The private beach was the cleanest and one of the beautiful beaches I have seen. They have set up a campfire where we enjoyed in the beach with food. Definitely a must visit resort!

A Fantastic break for a day within a distance of 1 or couple of hours travel from the central part of Andhra Pradesh. Anybody can thoroughly enjoy at that place & stay mainly because of the hygiene maintenance, protocol in receiving/serving customers and the amenities & facilities incorporated along with the private Villa stays. That's just amazing and I don't think any other resort fall into this slot in the entire coastal part of Andhra Pradesh. Looking forward for our next family visit.

Reaching here from Hyderabad is a little tougher, but the landscaping, pool, villas and beach make your stay a memorable one. Our check in was hassle-free...we were checked quote quickly in to two bed room villa. The villa was very clean and large enough for the kids to jump around πŸ˜‚. The outdoor space in middle of the villa allows sunlight all the time and it is so refreshing. Pool was well maintained but felt it little small for the crowd. Kids pool is also available. Private Beach access is cool, you have to walk 200 m from parking. Had chairs for all the guests at the beach. Beach was super clean. On of the best beaches to play with kids and family. Food was decent with limited options. Service was real good from check in to check out. The staff also obliged some of our requests and made our stay a pleasant one.

1 rating as everything at this place except the look of rooms will disappoint you. - they said they have golf cart to move around the resort or beach. None. You call them and every time they will say the cart is not available - food is pathetic. Especially lunch and dinner. For dinner they will chase you from 4 pm. It will look like your not in resort but in a hostel for food requirements - breakfast is awesome. The only part of the resort that is really good. - service is pathetic. For a beach resort the place sucks Very bad place for the price that we pay. Beware and be cautious before visiting

I visited this resort in the last week and my trip was so good. It is a very good place for vacation with family and friends. The staff were so welcoming and the room service was excellent. We have enjoyed a lot in the pool and the indoor games were cool! The best part of this resort is the private beach. It was so clean and the weather was beautiful. The food was so good. All of us enjoyed a lot.

Its hopeless service. We were there day before. Our pleasure trip turned to be pressure trip pursuing for services. Villas are hopeless. Cleanliness left to dogs. Complained about not working of flush and got reply that it will be repaired only after 9 am and we are supposed to checkout at 11am. Same is the case with removing the food plates they replied to remove them when you checkout. Totally a mayhem. One star is a waste.

Maintenance is poor also the resort, food and other things are expensive...EX: One and half Kg of red velvet cake is around Rs4000. I hope this makes you understand. But the place is good to explore even though it is very expensive. They have private beach place.

Located on sea shore, this resort is one of the best that I can suggest for Weekend plans, Events, Destination Weddings and many more. The maintenance of rooms and service quality has special shoutout. The best part is maintenance of greenery as I have seen no place in the resort area without greenery. Thank You Golden Sands for making our event successful. Your cooperation is our man of the match.

One of the best resort I have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. And most The manager was very friendly. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. As soon as you come out of the resort, we just need to move just 500 meters and there is a direct path leading to the beach. And one more beautiful thing is it's a absolutely private beach, very clean and clear water, a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the sunset from that point was mesmerizing. I must say the location of the resort is at best place throughout Ap coastal Area

Very spacious resort with well built villas. Rooms are spacious and well furnished. Bathrooms are also big and fittings are good. Very big swimming pool, large restaurant, big club house are great assets. Ample parking is available. Food is reasonably tasty and prices are reasonable. Trees, plants and garden are very pleasent. Maintenance needs improvement.

5 star for the cleanliness, ambiance and greenery. 2 star for house keeping and hospitality though no discomfort. Tasty food but with limited varieties (Especially no desserts 😫). Pool and beach combination drives us crazy. A must place to visit

We stayed in The Golden Sands Beach Front Resort in this week with our family. Really an awesome and once in a lifetime experience.A great pleasure to enjoy the private Beach. We can't find this type of private Beach in our AP.Must visit for the private beach and pleasant stay. The villas are with five star eminities and we enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. Villas are exceptionally good. Washroom cleanliness - excellent Bed and pillows -very Good High end Restaurant is available in the resort. Complimentary Breakfast is very good. The other snacks and food is very good.We felt a little bit uncomfortable road journey from Bapatla to the Resort, once we entered in to 'Golden sands',we felt that we entered into a different World. We enjoyed a lot for this holyday trip.

It's a remote location and property is under development. We take 3 bhk villa but no water and power. So asked yo give other villa. Got another villa have power and water. Have limited options of food inside restaurant. No other food option near by. New hotel is under development on beach. Beach is clean now as few people visiting. Feels like private beach. Overall good experience with family.

The place is very luxurious along with the beach. It's an amazing place for vacation. However, being said that I also want to add that it was really really disappointing that the place was not maintained properly even though it is managed by ITC which is a very well recognised brand in India. There was a lot of dust on the flooring. The toilets were not clean, limited options in breakfast, ac not cooling, sofas not clean(have permanent marks on them) are some of the examples. If it would've been maintained it would be a perfect stay for beach lovers and would have been a perfect vacation destination.

I loved this resort, was there a week ago with family. The rooms were very clean but the only problem was that the sink was a little smelly. The food was extremely good and the staff was very polite. The location is exceptional as well and the beach is only 400m away( about a 10 minute walk).

Rooms are good, spacious. Service side very much improvement needed, no proper towels gave a single towel in double flat and that too untidy, no floor mats at bathroom nor at entrance, network coverage is not good they don't have wifi atleast at reception also... As it is remote place they must maintain mini mart for snacks essentials etc. If forget something to bring it will be tough to purchase there. Don't expect like at star hotel on basic needs, you surely enjoy the place.

Decent resort with nice landscaping & looking very beautiful. Very good looking rooms with all modern facilities. Only negative is 500 meters away from the beach. Food & service is decent enough. Very good place for a family outing.

PROS: 1)Location: Near to beach 2)landscaping: very good, well maintained 3)service: excellent CONS: 1) Water: heavy content of salt in the water supplied to villas, should have used softeners 2) basic amenities: missing some amenities like tissue paper in toilets, wardrobes, Tea/ coffee sachets. For the price they charged I think these are basics. 3) Bathrooms: not well maintained. Heavy salt content is spoiling the bath-ware. 4) Swimming Pool: horrible/ worst maintenance . Swimming pools rules are not implemented only for display. Guests also did not adhere to swimming pool ethics. Allowed Drinking alcohol in the pool. Water is dirty and salty. Overall good for bachelor’s but not so great for families.

Golden Sands is situated next to a soft sandy beach along the Pandurangapuram – Kothapet road, and less than ten minutes drive from the bustling Bapatla city. Nestled amidst sublime luxury and breath-taking scenery, with the limited plots perfect for holiday homes and luxury villas. Golden Sands has a total area of more than 100 acres with 11 acres dedicated to exquisite resort villas that overlook the sea. And 89 acres dedicated to villas which is open for purchase and investment. As a value addition, Golden Sands features special attractions like club house, swimming pool, contemporary amenities, landscaped gardens, restaurant and bar. And above all, the prospects of capital appreciation and optimum returns on investment simply enhance the significance of Golden Sands. In totality, the Golden Sands not just offers enriching levels of experience but also serves as an ideal investment paradise.

This is nice place with great idyllic ambience and nice villas. Spacious, great greenery, gardens and nice swimming pool, tennis court, basket ball court, table tennis and indoor pool games. BUT, It's understaffed, lethargic service and slow response. Villa charges are affordable but food is very costly. Better to get some own food and snacks stuff. They use lot of plastic like plates, appo a food containers..need to cut down as all these plastic gets dumped littered around spoiling nature. They need to use more of paper, biodegradable, tree leaves wooden spoons material

I wish there is a negative rating option…. - no WiFi, no restaurant, worst ambiance, breakfast buffet starts at 8AMπŸ˜– - poor service. Ordered food at 6 PM and was delivered to room at 9PM. Food was pricey for what they have provided. - not accessible to the beach, have to go by car - rooms are horribly maintained, there is no toiletry available, no towels were provided. Overall not a place that I recommend.

Nice rooms , but not not quite good function hall. There isn't a beach view cottage in the entire resort but the service at beach in the evenings are worth trying. Nice beach area within 200-300m of distance from rooms.

Beautiful resort in bapatla and they have one of the better beaches on this side of Andhra Pradesh. The public beach at bapatla is actually dirty but this one's private and serviced. We took a villa and it had clean rooms, good service and beautiful greenery all around. Bit on the pricier side but perfect for family weekend getaways. Food is good when you order it rather than at the buffets. They have a nice pool for some fun time. Overall it's a good resort. However, it can be better maintained in some areas.

A place for people to rejuvenate. The resort is located in a completely remote location so you won't really have anything to eat or drink apart from the stuff available in this place. The service is brilliant and very quick. The water is extremely salty though, I got rashes.

Golden sands beach resort review: Once in a lifetime experience. Must visit for the private beach and pleasant stay. Early check in without price - Yes. Based on availability. Hotel room quality - Villa was exceptionally good. Washroom cleanliness - Good Bed and pillows - Good Restaurant and bar - Couldn't access. Hot shower - Yes Morning paper - No Telephone - No TV - Yes Ac - Yes Hotel locality - Located 12 km from bapatla. Public transport is not available. Travel by car for better experience. Situated 500 m from the beach. View from my room - No view Wifi speed - No wifi The purpose of staying at the villa was to spend time away from the busy life and to relax at the beach. Better to carry some snacks with you while traveling because there were no shops available. There was an option for cake delivery to the villa, if in case needed. Total score - 8/10

Villas are very spacious. Garden , Lawns and public areas like Private beach & Swimming pool are well maintained. They arranged beach front dinner with awesome food tast. Service and Hospitality are good. Spent some time with my friends in Indoor & out door games.

We stayed in 3 bedroom villa, room was very good. Very close just 500 mtrs away from their private beach only. Till 450 mts you can go by own vehicle. Swimming pool is nice but music and light was not there. Ala carte food is not nice but complementary breakfast was good.

The beach is about 800m from the resort. The rooms are good and well maintained. The kitchen is only open at certain times. You need to pre order them. They can arrange your dinner by the beach as well

We only have individual villas of 2,3 & 4 BHK which will be considered equal to 4 star hotels. But the room service is poor since this villas are all over the 110 acres venture. They have a private beach and we'll maintained. Very peaceful and cozy ☺️ enjoyed my stay. Room service should be improved a lot.

  • 1/5 Garlapati S. 10 months ago on Google
Poor maintenance. There was smell of sewage in several places in the resort. The restaurant is only active in the morning for breakfast. Later if we want food we have to order in advance. Rice items were not good. North Indian roti items were better. The location is far from city so you have to plan early for food.

You need a car to reach this resort. Rooms are spacious and clean. Beach is half km away from the resort (walkable distance). in house restaurant is available. Complimentary breakfast and swimming pool are included. Dinner at beach is the highlight. Over all nice experience little expensive though.

The best private beach resort i have ever visited. Two nights we are stayed with in resort, Breakfast was awesome. We had dinner in beach front , its was an great experience. We enjoyed a lot in swimming pool. Indoor & outdoor games are excellent.

  • 4/5 Ashok K. 1 year ago on Google
A very nice resort near the beach and far from the city. But a little far (about a kilometre) from the rooms to the beach. It's a bit difficult to walk with kids and there is no sea view. So we will definitely enjoy rooms only instead of the beach. Enjoyed well developed villas n swiming pool. There is a complimentary breakfast but there is such a rush like in a hostel .. needs improvement in the extension of the restaurant.

  • 4/5 Navaneeth Y. 2 years ago on Google
The food service could have been faster, water in the washroom had an odour, the facility could also provide a kettle and fill the beverage tray and the beautiful villas could've been maintained a tad bit cleaner!

  • 3/5 Ayesha J. 2 years ago on Google
Service pathetic. Not worth the money spent. Rooms looks good to eye but room telephones are not working. In the bathroom I could see spider webs around and the bathroom ceiling was broken. Food is decent not the kind of food you are looking for after spending that much of money. Only one thing is good that it is nearby a beach which is less crowded and the rooms looks good from outside. Overall Experience: Not Happy

Relaxing place to spend this dusserha weekend. Villas are very well designed with an open courtyard where you can see sunlight. Very cleanly maintained. Private beach access is good, the swimming pool was awesome. we had a good time there. Staff needs some training but they were polite throught out our stay. Food was awesome, both the quality and taste. Fish fry was my favourite. Good service by the staff till late night. We will plan again in the holiday season.

Nice cozy stay....had to walk out for 100 mtrs of the resort to reach the beach ....but very poor room service .....have to order one hour before and very limited menu on the cards....Good location and beautifully placed spacious villas

  • 4/5 Praveen R. 2 years ago on Google
3 BHK Villa is very spacious and the bedding is comfortable. Villas are placed at good distance from each other and you will have a sense of privacy. Proximity to the beach is an advantage. Pool is well maintained and the food is decently priced and tasty. You can dine in the villa and the delivery is prompt . Though there are many positives, management can improve on a ton of things. - They proactively call to ask for arrival time and take food order for lunch . However, they should show the same levels of enthusiasm to keep the villa ready with basic facilities at least. - No customer wants to waste time in calling/requesting/waiting for towels/ door mats etc. These are bare minimum to be kept ready before check in. - When the mgmt knows there is a problem with house flies within the villas, they should proactively take care of it. Again a very basic thing which the mgmt should address without the guest chasing for it. - Surroundings around the villa should be periodically cleaned and maintained. People , be it staff or guests are littering every where. No matter how clean the villa is , first impression before entering the villa ruins the holiday mood. - Signs with room numbers are missing in the resort along the common roads. - Breakfast is tasty but items should be replenished quickly. Crowd management is the one to be focused on. You really can not have items running out by 9am. People on holidays prefer late breakfast. - Staff are polite but they definitely need training in people skills. - Refrigerator is in bad condition and the telephone in one bedroom is not working. other working phone does not have any details instructions on the numbers to be dialled. Apparently 88 is number to be dialled for reception. These minute details in the villa should be taken care to provide good experience to guests. To summarise, this resort has great potential to be a great destination, but lack of focus on minute details and enthusiasm to deliver great guest experience is clearly ruining the potential. Resort definitely needs a well trained and customer experience focused manager to sort these things.

The location of the resort is great, the premises is well maintained and comes alive at night with decorative lights. They have well maintained lawns and a decent pool. The beach is a kilometer away, so if you don't have a vehicle the resort will arrange a cart. The food is good, but the buffet breakfast can be better. The big disappointment is the rooms, not properly maintained even though built very well. I didn't get hot water in the bath. The tubs in the bath are really unnecessary. Avoid speaking to the gardeners especially if you speak the local language.

Stayed there on 12,13,14th of Nov 2021 with my friends, Clean beach, nice accomodation, food was good, friendly staff, had lots of fun , I will definitely suggest this place. Only thing village road near to this resort was not good, manager said they are working on it. Sure this place will attract lots of people very soon, better visit now before it gets too crowded.
