A kid friendly place i must say. We were looking for a relaxing and calming environment and this place gave us exactly what we wanted. The rooms are very comfortable and the view is simply superb. The kids had a great time playing games and the camp fire added a new experience. A special thanks to Mr. Rajaram from the restaurant who made us feel very comfortable. He made sure to provide us with all our requirements.

It was one of the best resort I have stayed till date. Staffs were very caring and friendly. The food is really good (Breakfast and Dinner - Buffet) enjoyed a lot. There are a lot of indoor activities (no cost) and adventure activities (charge based on the activity we choose) available. Have to say this, booked for 3 nights and due to some personal emergency have to postpone the dates at the very last minute (Less than 8 hours). Had a call with them and explained the situation, and they happily accepted to reschedule the dates at my convenience which was really amazing gesture.

Not worth for money you pay. Standard rooms are nasty but they charge Rs.12000/night. The room is like any other ordinary hotel where the rent is only 1900 to 2500 on an average. Don't stay here and waste your hard earned money. Stay somewhere in the town and enjoy with the huge money, you give these fellows which is not worth at all. GRT LIVES IN IT'S BRAND AND NOTHING IS WORTH HERE. PLEASE DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL FOR YOUR STAY. When you book through agents like Oyo or make my trip, the prices are low,( almost only half the price) but when you come straight away here and book, then you have to pay a hefty amount which is not acceptable .

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the GReaT Trails Resort by GRT, and I have to say, it was one of the best resort experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the level of service and attention to detail. The resort staff were warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone was friendly and accommodating. The food at the resort was also exceptional. The on-site restaurants offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, and the quality of the food was top-notch. Whether I was in the mood for a hearty breakfast, a light lunch, or a gourmet dinner, the resort had something to satisfy my cravings. The ambience of the resort was simply breathtaking. The lush greenery, stunning architecture, and serene atmosphere made me feel like I was in a tropical paradise. I especially loved the beautiful pool area, which was the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. And finally, the comfort of my room was beyond compare. The bed was plush and comfortable, the linens were soft and luxurious, and the amenities were modern and convenient. I slept like a baby every night and woke up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Overall, I would highly recommend the Resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable vacation experience. The service, food, ambience, and comfort were all exceptional, and I can't wait to return for another visit.

As the name suggests everything was great - ambience, location, service, rooms, view!! We visited for our 1st anniversary and were welcomed with a decorated room on request by us! Spa should definitely be taken care of considering the property a 4-star. Buffet had a good spread but the veg menu was pretty simple

Excellent Stay. Staffs are very friendly and responsive. Rooms are clean and perfect. Important stuff is their food taste,. Chef Vetri is very friendly and served as per our wish. Its a very calm place away from the town. Night drive after 7PM from the town to hotel is little dark and scary,.

The property was really good. Rooms were clean, spacious and had a great view of the mountains.They had a small fun area for kids with slides and swings as well as an indoor area. The staff were courteous and understood our requirements. Food, although slightly on the expensive side, was really good. They were very mindful when we asked for food with specifications for our kid. Overall a great experience for us

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at this property. The room was huge, nicely decorated and with a fantastic view. The restaurant was nice and the served all the food on the menu. All staff was courteous and helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this property for anyone who is looking for a peaceful holiday in Kodaikanal

Very good experience. We enjoyed everyday while staying here. There is lot of fun activities, play area and Horse Riding for Kids, for adults it has indoor games and Adventure activities. Room Service was excellence and they responded very quickly. All staffs and students are working here are very polite and helpful. The important part here is Food and it’s quality and taste and very much like for all. Overall we felt good memories and safe stay. Thanks GRT for wonderful experience.

Great ambience, beautiful landscape and the rooms are well maintained, special attention is paid to maintain hygiene. The hospitality of the staffs are commendable, they pamper you and make you feel more comfortable. I would like to mention about their staff Syed, he provided individual attention to each guests and went above and beyond to ensure that guests had no concerns. This is a great place to visit along with family. The GRT team made our vacation a special memorable one. Kudos to the staff and crew.

We had a great stay at GRT. THE room had a fabulous view of the mountains. The silence and serene atmosphere is very calming and one can surely unwind from the mundane routine at GRT. their service is very good. They offer a wide spread as complimentary breakfast. A special mention ought to be made to their complementary high tea which was truly fantastic. In all a great stay. I will recommend GRT resorts Kodai.

We are stayed 2 days, it's family trip absolutely amazing... Your People are treated like their own family members we felt so comfortable... yummy food and thanks for service, housekeeping team. I must say thank kasthuri she was really good well friendly kids easily attached with her. Taking care much even warm welcome to send off.

Spent couple of nights with my family in this property. Had a great experience. Spectacular view from the room and lot of activities to do around the property. Food was good too. Special shout out for Syed Riyaz, he was of great help and assisted us throughout our stay.

Had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We stayed in one of the Timber Lodge Valley with a gorgeous view. Breakfast spread was very well done. Other foods on the menu is by purchase and the quantity was plentiful, worth the price including in room dining. Staff were very courteous and accommodating. The overall service is excellent and I appreciate the hospitality shown by each staff member.

I appreciated Syed and the rest of the staff's attentiveness during my visit. They were prompt in taking orders, refilling drinks, and ensuring our overall dining experience was enjoyable. Their proactive approach positively contributed to the overall satisfaction of our meal.

We stayed in a timber chalet with a valley view for 2 days. Our overall stay was comfortable and memorable. Special thanks to Mr.Syed for his hospitality in the whistler cafe. The lights in the room could be much brighter. Although the quantity of food is more than enough, some of the food prices are too high like a dosa costs you 360+tax. It costs easily between 2.5 to 3k for a meal. The guests have no other option because there are no restaurants nearby.

We had an exceptional stay at the resort. The rooms were comfortable, and the service exceeded expectations. Mr. Syed, the restaurant manager, deserves special mention for his outstanding hospitality, making dining experiences memorable. Highly recommend this resort for a delightful getaway.

Excellent property to spend time with the family. We went as a family of 5 which included a 4.5year old kid and we stayed in the timber chalet. The rooms are very neat and spacious. There are a lot of activities within the property itself. The entire resort is very kid friendly with parks and also a trampoline. There is also a nature trail walk and a trek to a vegetable patch arranged by the resort itself. Naveen from the garden team took us for for the trek. He is extremely caring and took us very safely through the entire trail understanding our inabilities. You can definitely ask for him for the trail. We got to see carrot, cabbage, radish and turnip patches . At the restaurant, food is awesome and perfect for all age groups. Mr Syed at the restaurant made sure we were extremely well taken care of and had all our favourites at the table and was very flexible with all our needs. The buffet menu is also very good. Overall the hospitality is great, location is fantastic, food is awesome and it makes for an awesome vacation.

The location, rooms & service of this resort was beyond awesome. Staff are amazing, courteous, helpful, accommodating & just amazing. Food was great!!!! Chef Yuvraaj & his team are doing a great job there. We stayed for 3days there and frankly didn't want to leave the resort. I recommend this place highly.

Place was quite away from main town.. Dinner - we ordered from A’lacarte menu and the food was very tasty. Breakfast was good. They had high tea , common campfire spot. They also had numerous activities , common play area with many games, Rock cabin room was okay.. could have been more spacious.. but overall a great experience.

Breezy check in/check out process which was a relief to weary travelers like us. Rooms are clean with nice views. We liked the quiet environment . hotel activities are varied and kept us occupied. Definitely try the horse named" Ram" who impressed us with his tricks. Food is great at the Whistler Cafe. Attentive staff who catered to our requests/ Appreciate the service offered by F&B manager Mr Rajaram & his team.

Location is so good. Mountain view from room is absolute enjoyable felt really calm. Inside Restaurant food is delicious. GRT hotel welcoming are great. Staffs are friendly and polite. Finally had a great experience during our stay.

Pros: - Good adventure activities in the resort. - Dining experience was wonderful because of the friendliness of the staff and the chefs. The head chef Vetri was amazing, he met us during all the meals, took feedback about the dishes, and prepared special items for us on demand. - staff was very friendly. Cons Rooms were very average. They were not of 4 star by any standards.

The stay was comfortable and accommodating. The staff were helpful and provided us the required information to roam around. Many activities were provided by the hotel such as trekking. Only one issue we faces was that the house help did not turn up at the required time and we had to clean up a mess that was left by the previous resident. Otherwise great place to relax.

This is such an amazing place to stay with loved ones. We accidentally ended up at this property. We were booked for a different resort and they messed up big time on my booking and almost ruined my vacation. As a gesture they spoke to someone at Great Trails and arranged for a booking here. I knew the property was good but was sceptical that they might charge me extra on top of what I had already paid to the other resort but they surprised me and gave me truly world class hospitality and didn't charge me anything extra. The restaurant staff was amazing and made my 3 year old daughter feel absolutely comfortable. Even the chefs cared about the guests and frequently got in touch with us to check if everything is as per our taste. Overall a wonderful place to stay and I think the other resort messing up my booking was a blessing in disguise.

I have always loved flowers and clouds. And this beautiful property is nestled in between mystic mountains and is adorned with the most heavenly flowers i have ever seen. The stay was comfortable. The food is delicious. The staff are very courteous. And i sure wanna come back.

We had a great experience in GRT Kodaikanal. Starting from check-in to check-out, everything was absolutely amazing. Great hospitality and wonderful ambiance. We stayed in the Timber Chalet which was entirely constructed with quality wood. The room was very large and spacious. Tower elevators and the connecting glass bridge which leads to the wood house and the breathtaking views gives you a peaceful stay. They have an elaborate breakfast buffet with a lot of live counters. Food and service is brilliant. A special thanks to the manager at the resort, Mr. Abhijith for making us feel comfortable. He made sure that over overall experience is good. Much appreciated.

Location and mountain view was excellent. Food was good. Nature was nice. Staff were kind and helpful. Rooms were good and clean. The Spa was good but not opened on time at 9.00 am. Nature walk was good. We would recommend this place to our friends if they are staying in kodaikanal

I met 6 friends after almost a decade and had the best experience and made wonderful memories and looking forward to making many more. The Staff , the resort and Cafe managers were exceptional and very courteous. Only recommendation is please make lighting in the rooms more brighter.
