It was a good experience. The Fort Museum should be renovated. The entire fort area deserves to be at least a bit larger.

Nice historical place with a small museum inside. Good to spend your leisure time quite well. But need to do some more beautification of the fort and the pond.

- **A moment of tranquility**: A person enjoys the peaceful view of an ancient structure and its reflection at sunset. - **The beauty of history**: The setting sun casts a golden glow on an old structure, revealing its intricate details and creating a stunning reflection on the water. - **Reflections of the past**: A person sits on the steps of an old structure, contemplating the history and stories behind it, as the sun sets and the water mirrors the scene. - **Sunset at the old temple**: A person relaxes on the staircase of an old temple, surrounded by a lush garden and a calm lake, as the sun dips below the horizon.

Mir Jumla built this fort during the reign of emperor Aurangazeb in 1660 approximately. It is located near D.C. park in Munshiganj Sadar. This fort is surrounded by high walls that are shabby now because of its age. It has a small museum inside that carries some pictures of that fort from the past and some historical things that people used in that fort in the past. However the area is not so wide. But it can remind you of how a historical landmark like this fort used to look in the past. People can park cars or bikes in front of the fort.

Historical Idrakpur Fort is located in the Munshiganj district of Bangladesh. Though it has lost its historical significance over time, the impact it had during its period is truly astonishing.

The fort is an ancient place with a long history. The place is good but there are no parking, food and washroom facilities. The place is not well maintained. No guide is available for the tourists. Lot of scope there to make the area more tourist friendly.

Very nice place with exceptional archaic sites. The fort is old but still very neat and clean in the hand of authority. I believe the site is going to flourish in days ahead. Don't forget to visit the Museum(formerly District Jail) where you can find the remnant of the fort as well as nice information about Munshiganj District and the tourist spots round it. Be there before 4.30pm.

A fifteenth century fort that was established as a guard of the city at that time. The place was very important considering the security where the pirates used to attack Dhaka. Now, the place is a symbol of history and the government is taking care of it. Inside here, one pool and one museum are also located. A ticket is required to enter the area. The place is not quite large so 30 minutes is well enough to visit this full area. A digital camera is allowed here but sometimes you have to pay some extra money for this. But, cameras are not allowed inside the museum. Wheel chairs are accessible. Car parking facilities are not available separately but can be parked on the roadside.
