Awesome place to be at weather you go with friends or family even if you go alone. It's a really surprising view. When the sea waves brush up at the shore, that sound is fascinating. Really enjoyed my visit. Evening time suggested you can stay till late night. Each moment will make you stay at that place for a little more time and you will never know how much time you stood at that place. Get some food for yourself and you can talk for an eternity if you have someone to talk. Time flies at that place without letting you know it's gone.

I love this spot so much that, whenever I visit Mumbai, i never fail to visit this place. This place is so beautiful and the people that visit here comes from different walks of life. Friends chilling out, families with children playing, lovers for some romance and Solo travelers like me for some solitude. I usually forget the whole world around me for a while when I am at this place. Best thing Mumbai has to offer. And it's free. Don't forget to wear your mask over here.

I had a fantastic visit to Marine Drive and Nariman Point. The beautiful evening made it perfect for photography, and the sight of numerous small boats sailing in the sea was breathtaking. The area was exceptionally clean, and it was heartwarming to see people enjoying themselves. Highly recommended!

Marine Drive remains Mumbai's timeless beauty, and the recent IAF airshow added an exhilarating chapter to its charm. The stunning aerobatics and precision maneuvers above the Arabian Sea captivated the city. A perfect fusion of natural beauty and airborne artistryโ€”making it an unforgettable experience! ๐ŸŒŠโœˆ๏ธ

Marine Drive in Mumbai is more than just a picturesque promenade; it's the heartbeat of a city where dreams come alive. The shimmering arc of the bay becomes a canvas for aspirations, as individuals tirelessly strive to turn their dreams into reality. The rhythmic waves seem to echo the determination of those who walk along the boulevard, symbolizing a journey of hard work and relentless pursuit of ambitions. Marine Drive isn't just a scenic spot; it's a testament to the dreams that take root and flourish in the vibrant city of Mumbai.

It's a vvip road, most of movie shootings done here. Normally college school students spend most of time here. Crowded more on evening time. On weekends, it over crowded. You need to note, it's an open space to sit and enjoy, and police font allow you sit after 10pm. So you can visit within that. It's almost 9kms long, you can go for morning jog or evening walk. On weekdays, if all buildings on opposite have lights on, the view is mesmerizing. You cannot touch or go near water. There is a ramp, there you can sit and enjoy some snacks and view.

One of the best place in the city to unwind. You can enjoy tea coffee from streety vendor while sitting here or enjoying the Sun set. I have been here many times and it became an addiction to visit this place once I landed here. Best time as pery experience evening hours when sun started set.

Marine Drive on Christmas Eve Evening. Marine Drive offers a vibrant spectacle of life and leisure. The promenade, adorned with twinkling city lights, becomes a lively hub of activity. Families, couples, and tourists flock to enjoy the sea breeze and stunning views. However, the popularity comes at a costโ€”crowds can be overwhelming, making it challenging to find a peaceful spot. Traffic congestion is also a downside. Despite the hustle, the festive atmosphere and the iconic backdrop make Marine Drive a memorable experience on public holidays.

Marine Drive is a 3 kilometre-long Promenade along the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road in Mumbai, India. The road and promenade were constructed by Pallonji Mistry. It is a 'C'-shaped six-lane concrete road along the coast of a natural bay. At the northern end of Marine Drive is Girgaon Chowpatty and the adjacent road along links Nariman Point at southern tip to Babulnath and Malabar Hill at northern tip. Marine Drive is situated on reclaimed land facing west-south-west. Marine Drive is also known as the Queen's Necklace because, when viewed at night from an elevated point anywhere along the drive, the street lights resemble a string of pearls in a necklace. I will suggest to tourists that uou should visit that place once.that place is crowded at evening for best experience you should visit at morning and late nights

From early morning to late night.... whenever you go and in whatever mood...this place bring peace to your inner self. Walking by the sea on specially designed walkway is a different experience than we feel on sea beaches.. I had an experience of this place from 2000 to 2022 and nothing much really changed here. Earlier some street snacks were allowed to be sold here, but now it is prohibited probably to maintain cleanliness. Spending time very late at night may create trouble as Police petroling team scatter the crowd for safety reasons.

Go early morning..........specially on Sundays. There is group dance and a lot of other fun activities. Very beautiful. The differently shaped stones just add up to the beauty of this place. It looks like a necklace from top. Best place in Mumbai for jogging and walking in the morning. People come for walking in the morning with their cute dogs so if you're a dog lover you should definitely come here for morning walks. Very crowded on Sundays. No ticket to come here.

It known as 'Queen's Necklace' because at night time when the street lights are switched on, it looks like a glittering diamond necklace - a sight to behold. Otherwise in day time it's Marine drive. One of the famous place to seat for self time. In early morning and early evening it's crowdy as maximum people come out for jogging, running or walk.

Marine Drive, a coastal stretch in the heart of the bustling city, evokes a profound sense of serenity and introspection. As the sun gracefully descends, casting a warm golden hue upon the horizon, the vast expanse of the Arabian Sea unfolds before the eyes of those fortunate enough to find themselves on this iconic promenade. The gentle whispers of the sea breeze weave through the air, carrying with them the timeless tales of the ocean. The rhythmic lull of the waves against the shore becomes a soothing symphony, inviting contemplation amidst the dynamic cityscape. The juxtaposition of modernity and nature creates a harmonious dance, where the vibrant energy of urban life meets the eternal calm of the sea. Strolling along Marine Drive, one can feel a subtle yet profound connection with the elements โ€“ the salty tang of the sea air, the soft touch of sand beneath one's feet, and the distant echoes of seagulls soaring overhead. It's a sensory journey that transcends the mundane, inviting introspection and a momentary escape from the demands of daily life. The city's heartbeat echoes in the distant honks and murmurs, while the sunset transforms the skyline into a canvas of hues that range from warm oranges to deep purples. Each step on this promenade seems to be a deliberate pause in the hurried pace of existence, allowing a brief immersion into the timeless embrace of nature. As day turns to night, the twinkling city lights mirror the stars above, creating a magical ambiance. Marine Drive becomes a contemplative space, where individuals find solace in the ebb and flow of the sea, and where the relentless rhythm of urban life momentarily yields to the eternal cadence of the ocean. In those moments, one can't help but appreciate the unique beauty that defines Marine Drive โ€“ a sanctuary where the relentless pulse of the city harmonizes with the everlasting serenity of the sea.

Beautiful place filled with wonderful people, perfect to spend a couple of hours, or to get a quick nap under the open sky after gazing stars and moon. The best part is, it never sleeps with clock ticking you savour the different flavors of the place. Changing from a favourite place to hangout with you friends and family in the evening till late in the night, to a place for party animals to end their crazy night with a sight of sea, and a touch of refreshing breeze on their face from late in the night till wee hours of morning. And in the early morning hours around sunrise to place for joggers and cyclist, who takes over giving it a different ambience. But one thing that stays the same throughout is sea stretching out as far as your sight can see. It was wonderful experience to some time at marine drive

It is one of the iconic spots of Mumbai. You can visit it anytime of the day and would be greeted by a different set of crowd. You can go for morning runs, or casually sitting there till midnight with a group of friends. Or to just sit alone and see the sun set. It is surrounded by iconic building and cafe to savor your taste buds.

As name suggests, This curve shaped road is just an ordinary road, but it's heart of Mumbai. Best time to visit : evening to late night ( however it's 24X7 favorite place for all) Govt is taking all steps to keep the place nest & clean for all to visit, though there are no food joint at this place but you can see tea seller passing by. Overall Its a great place to visit with friends or family or even solo at any time of the day.

It was a very good place. The location is very serene. It is a very good place for a walk of you are healthy conscious. The air is very good around that place. The only negative point about this place is that there is no sign board to inform tourists that that place is under the prying eyes of the staff of Mumbai Municipal Corporation. Those staff personnel wait in the shady places just wanting to pounce on unaware citizens who just take out their mask for a breath of fresh air. They will stealthily come behind you, take your picture, and fine you for not wearing a mask. When you ask where is the sign board that says you will be fined, they say that it is in the sea. Unaware tourists who roam on those places are most at risk. Please take care. You will be fined โ‚น200/-. So please take care and be aware. The photo posted with this review is of the staff with whom I had the above mentioned conversation.

Oh pandemic, what have you done; My beautiful city seeks to return, to the time much simpler and fun. Soon says the wind that runs wild across the ocean, hustling waves seems to agree to the notion. Twinkling stars across the dark blue sky, show the glimmer of hope so high. Until next time, i say bye and drive by, see you soon lovely Marine Drive.

โ€˜Marine Drive Beachโ€™ popularly known as the Queens Necklace, is a popular tourist attraction in the city of Mumbai and we had visited the same during our visit to Mumbai in Jan 2020. It is known as the Queenโ€™s necklace because of the streetlights in a semi circle, at night when lights are on this place appears to be like Diamond Necklace. This is one of the most beautiful places in Mumbai. In the evening, it is crowded every day of the week. It is visited by almost all the visitors to Mumbai as it is Mumbai's most elegant place where you forget all your worries. This place is most popular and appropriate for all the generations. Our visit was a great experience for us. When you are in Mumbai, must visit this place & enjoy the cool breeze while watching sunset at evening. It is pleasant to visit during night time because the lighting will be on.

As the name suggests in the evening with the beautiful lights all around this place looks exactly like a queen's neck with a beautiful sparkling necklace on it. In my opinion one should reach this place before evening for a couple of reasons. One of them being one should not miss the sunset from here. Second, this place becomes a little crowded in the evening and it is hard to find a sitting area. Although the place is crowded, there is calmness and peace in this place. This is a place where a person can enjoy both nature as well as the city in Mumbai simultaneously.

I visited during the monsoon season, and it was an incredible experience. Despite the rain, the beauty of this place was enhanced. The sea looked even more mesmerizing, with the waves crashing against the rocks. The raindrops truly created a soothing sound. The atmosphere was lively, with people enjoying the drizzle while walking along the promenade. Marine Drive during the monsoon is a unique and enchanting sight that shouldn't be missed

It's totally ๐ŸคŒ๐Ÿ’— ~Marine Drive. Need to visit this place on Morning, Evening and also night. Every Sunday morning it'll be so fun and many thing will happen- games, dance, music, band mornings with full energy. Evening everyone will be sitting in the stone sitting bench like for sight seeing wave , wind breeze and sunset. Night with the marine drive full of lights it's a different feel when your there at that time. So try to visit this place if your in Mumbai. Most favourite place for me there๐ŸŽ‰โค๏ธ.

The whole Marine Drive stretch is a beauty. Walk around in the mornings or evenings till night. Sit at the promenade, view the sunset and the Arabian Sea with the Mumbai skyline. Itโ€™s generally clean and well maintained. Some more public toilets along the drive would be useful for the public though. Walk towards Chowpatty and there are options of eateries, restaurants as well as street food on the beach front.

Love this place and have lots of memories here. Visited recently again during monsoon 2021. Covid protocols are strictly followed here and you will be charged 200 rs if they find you not wearing or properly wearing the mask. That makes it safe place to visit during covid. I visited the place in afternoon around 4 and it wasn't that crowdy. But better to avoid visiting during the evening and night time when there will be more cloud. SAFETY FIRST! Be safe Mumbaikars!

It's a very nice place to chill but I'll suggest that you go there at the evening or night and not to visit there in the afternoon because there's no seats available and also no shady place to rest you'll have to sit under the scorching sun

Beautiful stretch to walk on and spend the evenings. Make sure you mask up otherwise the BMC fines 200 bucks

This is the best place and most famous in India and also in world. View is just as queen is wearing necklace. One can enjoy evening, see sun set. However due to covid, do not forget to wear face mask or you can be fined Rs 200.

Very beautiful place to enjoy the scenic beauty of the sea with cool breeze ! ๐Ÿ˜โค๏ธ Try visiting in the evening. You can sit there till 10:00pm after that police won't allow in this covid times. Also, don't try to take off your mask or else you'll be fined Rs.200 by BMC .

Prominent location for locals and tourists alike, looks beautiful at night when lights are on. Cool breeze coming from sea cools one down. Sunsets are also great to watch. There is generally some haze during winters and this during daytime skies are not clear. Must place to spend time when in Mumbai. Don't forget to wear mask when there. Cleanup Marshalls are just ready to fine you if there is no mask.

It's always been great visiting here and spending time with family and friends while sitting there and enjoying beautiful scenery. Due to covid situation it is compulsory to wear a mask which all agree to, but some people are fraudulently asking for money or they will call out police and report it. Just beware of such people!!

The view of Queen's necklace Marine Drive is in shape of necklace at the bank of Arabian see and it's view is amazing. The pathway is very neat and clean. People enjoy there in natural environment in different ways, like walking, running, yoga, exercising, taking rest, playing games, singing ...so on. There are big hotels like Oberaoi, Trident etc. Really a nice place.

Its a great place to spend watching the sun set with friends, family or loved ones. Everyone is warm and welcoming and also not intrusive to your space. You can get snacks and tea/coffee from the sellers. I defined recommend the tea. Once the sun sets, the entire skyline lights up.

A go to place for all mumbaikars. Feel the sea, feel the breeze, feel the rush, feel the history and what not. Anytime first choice to meet anyone and chill. Spend time with your loved ones here. Full of life and joy. Too much rush on weekends. My favourite is to spend a night out enjoying the sea breeze.

Marine Drive during the monsoon is a unique and enchanting sight that shouldn't be missed.

Marine drive is very pretty all over day but especially at sunset times. Monsoon weather is also very enjoyable. You can sit by the pavement sitting area and relax. A good place to come with friends family and close ones.๐Ÿ˜Š

Excellent view of the queens necklace and sunset over the sea. The place is best visited in mornings and evenings. The sunset view against the Mumbai skyline was amazing. Bench to sit all around, excellent walk way for walking/running, enough parking facility. Overall very worth for regular evening walks or trip with family.

A must visit place in Mumbai,it attracts visitors in large numbers, particularly during evening hours. The cool breeze provides a wonderful atmosphere to sit on the large cemented wall working as bench near the sea shore. The lighting around the place is mesmerizing.

Itโ€™s good to go to marine drive at night because itโ€™s not hot. It is nice place to chill for a bit and grab a bite. There are a lot of street vendors for chai, Bhel put for massage. Every once was coming to you while you are sitting and enjoying the view of the skyline and India Ocean.

Surreal sunset at evening! Badly crowded on weekends. Pollution has really affected the air quality of the city. There's lack of number of dustbins causing more litter. Still managed to capture those beautiful moments.

Queen's Necklace..The curved pathway offers stunning views of the sea, especially during sunset. Lined with art deco buildings, it's a prominent landmark and a hub for leisurely walks, street food, and enjoying the sea breeze.

The best time to visit Marine Drive is during sunset when the sky turns into a beautiful shade of orange and pink. The view of the sunset from Marine Drive is breathtaking and is a must-see for every visitor. The cool breeze and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore create a soothing atmosphere that will make you forget about the chaos of the city. Marine Drive is also a great place for a leisurely stroll. You can see the local way of life and enjoy the beautiful scenery. You can also find a variety of street food vendors along the boulevard, where you can try local delicacies. Overall, Marine Drive is a must-visit spot in Mumbai. The stunning views, peaceful environment, and variety of activities make it an ideal place for a visit. You can enjoy the natural beauty of the Arabian Sea and take a break from the chaos of daily life.
