Fantastic food and service with great views of the Mar Menor area highly recomended

Great food, had set price 3 course Sunday lunch menu. Roast beef was excellent with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and five veg! Attentive staff and good views of the Mar Menor.

Lovely setting, food was excellent and great service. Set menu on Wednesday nights for €27.50 pp inc wine. Very good value.

Shambles! Bread at the start table took an hour despite apologies from staff. My steak was butterflied despite saying no to that option. It ruined it. It took away all flavour and was like an ordinary bit of meat from a chain restaurant. It had two mushrooms which even for minimalist modern restaurants was a little on the stingy side. I was advised they would remove the cost of the steak from the bill. My other option was to have a new one but I'd be eating without my family 20 minutes later. The dessert took an extraordinarily long time to arrive. When it did they brought mine first along with a wrong order. I then had to sit and watch it melt for a further 10 minutes as there was no spoon. The other desserts arrived at all different times. Two of us had the cheese cake of the day but it was inedible. It was incredibly salty. Staff spoke to the chef but he/she couldn't see the issue. We asked them to try ours but were declined. The toilets were dirty. One was blocked and the other the flush was broken. The good news was some of my party had a good meal. The steaks that were not butterflied were great. The Panna Cotta was lovely as was the White Chocolate Fondant. So a mixed response. But for the prices...just not good enough.

Very good food and service. A regular venue for us.

Had the Thai Prawns as a starter and fillet steak (med/rare)for a main course, both dishes were excellent and service superb as always, along with the accompanying view definitely a 5☆dining experience 😎
