Never had a bad meal here. Staff also very pleasant and helpful.

Had Menu del Dia (lunch) here today. Food was good value 4 courses, some better than others (lamb was a bit salty and greasy but acceptable) but all ok. Best of all was the customer service today, quick and attentive. A fellow diner dropped their knife and within seconds the waiter came running with a new one! I would come again and would recommend for a reasonably priced, filling, Menu del Dia 😊

Really good food very well presented. Good portion sizes. Sea bass cooked in salt in like a cruise is a local delicacy and a must try! Starters I thought expensive but dessert was very large and super cheap! The staff are so lovely. The two young waiters with dark hair spoke perfect English. I wanted to know if the fish came with its head on as cooked in like a baking tray sealed so when I opened it would I have to open it etc. The chef came and explained at the table that it was all off so no head etc. Really lovely friendly staff. House white was lovely like a pinot

My husband and I lunched at La Chara (the one on the road) last week and decided to try the Menu of The Day and it was fantastic and such good value for money. In my opinion it is the best MOTDay in the area! If there is one thing, I would say that the lovely homemade soup was a tad too salty but that's all. Trying out the evening menu this Saturday.

Service excellent. Food tasted delicious, big choice on menu. Definitely return. Easy to park very close by.

A small family restaurant with very good price. I really wanted to like it but the food was not as good as I hoped. Its like they forgot to taste it before they served it. We tried a variety of dishes menu del dia but nothing tasted good to be honest. And we have had some great menu del dia in the area.

So pleased they are open again after three abortive trips to eat there. Had lamb today loved it

After seeing so many good reviews on Google, we decided to go there. We have been staying in the region for nearly 3 months and have tried many restaurants. All of them are in fairness very good. However, we were massively disappointed by this one as the dishes were way too salty and we left almost with an empty stomach. We had soup and salads and then lamb and fish to be followed by a dessert. Unfortunately, we shan't be rushing back to this one. Sorry to have such an experience.

They do a special menu in the evening for about 25 euros which includes bread with dips, good selection of starters and mains, dessert (the whisky ice-cream cake is very naughty!), tea or coffee, a liqueur and half a bottle of wine. Portions are generous, even the fillet steak. I've tried the other restaurants but I keep going back to La Chara!
