Next to the imafront of the temple there is an informative epigraph in which we can read: "18th century. Belonging to the old convent of Santo Domingo el Real, built between 1722 and 1745. It has two facades and is attached to the Rosario Chapel (1543), which houses the canvas "The Battle of Lepanto" by Juan de Toledo In the church the sculptures by Bussy, Salzillo and Roque López stand out."

It is in the center of the city, very pedestrian, like Plaza Santo Domingo, where it is located. Near the main entrance there are gardens with centuries-old trees. The church is classical in style inside and out and beautiful, the no matter how you look at it.

Next to the square of the same name. It's a shame about this square, since before it was surrounded by beautiful trees that gave freshness to the Murcian nights.

Conventual Church of Santo Domingo, which shows two facades; The one on the west is missing a body and the one that rises above the Plaza, covered in brick, is topped by two towers and a belfry. The Church of Santo Domingo and the adjoining Chapel of the Rosary are the buildings that remain from an ancient monastic complex of the Dominican Order located in the central plaza of Santo Domingo, which it presides over and to which it gives its name. Its origin dates back to the 13th century, although the currently preserved complex corresponds to the 16th century (Rosario Chapel) and the 18th century (Conventual Church of Santo Domingo). The uniqueness of the church, connected to the Rosario chapel (16th century) and open to two fronts of the city, meant that it had two facades at its ends: the west, in front of the Romea theater, and the brick one, towards the square of Santo Domingo

It is a very beautiful church, located in the heart of the city of Murcia. It has two main facades, completely different, although the one that faces the Plaza de Santo Domingo does not have an entrance door.
