This small church located in the Murcian neighborhood of San Andrés, is currently the headquarters of the Brotherhood of Nuestro Padre Jesús, after said Brotherhood abandoned the chapel it owned within the old Augustinian convent (current church of San Andrés). Built between 1675 and 1696, the highlight is its baroque style façade, completed in 1696 by the architect Francisco Hontiyuelos. Once inside, as we tour this church, it is worth enjoying the tempera paintings with architectural motifs by Paolo Sistorí, which imitate those that existed before 1955 before its transformation into a museum. It is currently the headquarters of the Francisco Salzillo Museum, and here, among other pieces of great value, the Holy Week steps of the illustrious Murcian sculptor are exhibited.

Church attached to the Salzillo museum in Murcia, headquarters of the brotherhood that bears its name. Permanent exhibition of the images of the great artist and that procession during Holy Week, in the procession called "DE LOS SALZILLOS"

It was built in the baroque architectural style of the late 17th century. Also adding a lot to its artistic value is the fact that it houses sculptures made by Salzillo, which are part of some steps of the Holy Week processions.

Place where the steps of the Good Friday procession by the sculptor Francisco Salzillo y Alcaraz are preserved, and the title, by an anonymous author, Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno. Added to these great Baroque works are the three nativity scenes in the exhibition. The clay sketches also deserve a prominent place when visiting. Currently you can also admire Nª Sª de las Angustias, whose headquarters is the church of San Bartolomé, currently being restored. The Brotherhood of Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno does commendable work for the conservation of the work of the great artist.

It is a must see in Murcia. It houses the most important sculpture group made by Francisco Sanzillo, in addition to being the headquarters of the Brotherhood of Jesus. The church itself is a large jewel box decorated by Sistori. Enjoy Holy Week any day.

The Church of Jesus is part of the Salzillo Museum. Inside the temple, the processional steps that the sculptor Francisco Salzillo made for the aforementioned penitential institution are displayed. With an octagonal floor plan, it was built around 1670 and completed at the end of the 17th century, as the church of the Brotherhood of Jesus. It is a true theater designed to show the mysteries of passion. Salzillo carried out the famous Good Friday morning processional steps for the venue, achieving a harmonious setting between architecture and sculpture. In the stands, the original paintings by Pablo Sístori, from 1792, are still preserved. It was declared a National Monument in 1935.

I have been watching the procession for 20 years and I have always loved it because it shines through García Alix but this year I have been disappointed with the new route, the procession has not shined, very narrow streets that you have to get up for the steps to pass and this year it seems that there have been fewer soldiers and they have done almost nothing. Please put the old route, it looks better and looks more beautiful
