👍👍 Another temple that we saw while visiting the city. It is a Gothic temple with a single nave, with chapels between buttresses, a work from the 14th and 15th centuries. Renaissance style presbytery as well as the side doorway. Parallel to the nave is the Baroque-style Communion Chapel. The bell tower... People often mention church, Orihuela, temple,

Another temple that we saw while visiting the city. It is a Gothic temple with a single nave, with chapels between buttresses, a work from the 14th and 15th centuries. Renaissance style presbytery as well as the side doorway. Parallel to the nave is the Baroque-style Communion Chapel. The bell tower has a square plan and Gothic style, interesting is the set of gargoyles and clock from the 15th century. Inside the temple we must highlight the baptismal font and the organ. An interesting visit we made.

I haven't seen it inside. It has two simple portals framed between columns and a high tower.

Main façade of the church of Santas Justa and Rufina. It is a work of baroque style, carried out in the 18th century by the Lorca architect Antonio Villanueva, with a great influence of the master Jaime Bort, who was working on the same temple shortly before, observed for this work. The upper part of the cover is decorated with a medallion of the titular saints in a Berniniesque style. Two more were going to be placed on the sides of it, but finally the work was left unfinished. The building has an imposing Gothic bell tower decorated with pinnacles in which the clock is located, one of the oldest clocks in Spain.

A beautiful church that shows its grandeur especially from the outside. A square Gothic tower with terrifying gargoyles and an interesting doorway. Inside, however, it shows sobriety and is somewhat bland.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful church in the center of Orihuela. Its impressive organ located in the choir. Secluded place for worship, very secluded and with many chapels dedicated to different saints, saints and virgins. The devotion and affection of the town of Orihuela to this temple is perceived.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful church which we were able to visit today. 3 January 2023 in glorious Spanish weather. Inside you will find many paintings and sculptures as well as a stunning large pipe organ. A visit that is really worthwhile Admission is free. There's plenty to see, even for people who don't run to church every Sunday. Parking if you're lucky in the immediate vicinity, unfortunately we weren't lucky and parked in the shopping center and then walked to the church. In retrospect, that was actually the better option.

😐 The artists who contribute their talent to the murals are great, very original and emotional towards the Poet and his cause. The administration (PP and Vox) has abandoned him, their contempt for Miguel Hernández is well known. The area is neglected and dirty, a shame, like everything I found in Ori...
