An AirTag was stolen in our room. I could see it went to an apartment in Murcia, and told the hotel that any staff living at the address has taken it. They replied that it hasn’t been found. I again told them that it doesn’t have to be found, I know where it is. And that any staff living at the address is a thief, because probably no one living that close to the hotel would rent a room for four people at the hotel. So hold tight to your belongings here. Because someone in the staff seems to be a thief, and the hotel doesn’t care about sorting it out. They didn’t reply after I told them, and they don’t seem to care.

Great hotel. Modern clean with a great atmosphere and loads of amenities. The only downside is a 15 - 25 minute walk to the centre of Murcia, but super easy to get a taxi from the hotel if you don't want to walk. Food is good, communal areas are fantastic.

No tea or coffee in the rooms, otherwise all good. Swimming pool not open off season, till June I believe. Room furniture isn't fab for a 4star hotel. But staff are great and very helpful.

Very nice hotel with excellent facilities and lovely outdoor swimming pool. Room and breakfast was also excellent. To take a direct walking route to the old town requires walking through what appears to be quite a rough estate across the road from the hotel. There is even ugly graffiti daubed on walls facing the hotel! Not very inviting!

Me and my partner stayed here for a little summer getaway. Last year we stayed in Nixe Palace (part of the hotel Santos chain) and absolutely loved it. This hotel was fantastic. The staff were all so lovely, hotel room was beautiful (jacuzzi shower was incredible), we ate dinner on our last night and the food options were fantastic. The pool was absolutely beautiful, always very quiet, and the pool was the perfect temperature, so we spent a lot of time in there. They provide towels (but this wasn’t explained to us when we checked in so we bought our own towels, but to the receptionist’s defence it was nearly midnight when we checked in). I honestly can’t find a fault for the hotel. The area we stayed in was about 20 minutes walk from the cathedral and any more “touristy” areas. So around the hotel there’s little English spoken (which me and my partner prefer as we are learning Spanish and trying to become fluent). But the hotel staff do speak English too. Staying at Hotel Nelva has confirmed to us how amazing the Santos chain is, we plan on trying all the hotel Santos chains now!

Highly recommended. Terrific hotel, kept clean continuously and great facilities. But what made this a fantastic stay was all the STAFF. Genuinely friendly, very helpful, polite, fun and enjoyable to be with. A BIG THANK YOU to all the staff that made our stay so comfortable.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff, big, clean rooms and a gorgeous outdoor area with a lovely swimming pool. Unfortunately in an awful location and woefully inadequately staffed to cope with the large amount of guests during our stay. After attending a stunning concert we would have loved a relaxing drink at the hotel bar. However, only 1 outdoor bar was open and guests were queueing 4 deep to be served. Breakfast next morning was total chaos. Hot and cold drinks, breakfast itself, even crockery and glasses were constantly not be found. Guests were drinking juice from cereal bowls and eating breakfast off tea plates (if they were lucky enough to get any of either).

"I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Despite booking a junior suite, I was given a standard room at check-in. After filing a complaint, I had to move my luggage from one room to another myself. Although the room was spacious, with a small sitting area and a separate bedroom, I faced several inconveniences. The air conditioning system was not working properly, emitting only cold air regardless of the settings. Additionally, the bathroom had a shower stall so small that I bumped my elbows in all directions. There were limescale deposits everywhere, and space was limited due to the positioning of the toilet and sink in front of the shower stall. The televisions were outdated and didn't allow streaming. The Wi-Fi was terrible, which is particularly unacceptable in 2023. The only positive aspect was the thorough cleaning of the room. The dining service was equally disappointing. The waitstaff lacked professionalism, and the food quality was poor. I had negative experiences with dishes like ravioli with goat cheese and tomato sauce, served with excessive cooking water and unevenly distributed sauce. The Caesar salad was also unusual, with just one romaine lettuce leaf and the rest mixed greens with veal tonnato. Breakfast was of low quality, repetitive, and had hygiene issues like expired milk in the fridge and dirty utensils on the tables. The elevators were slow and outdated, and there was no air conditioning in the glass elevator shafts, making them unpleasant to use. Additionally, the key card for room access demagnetized five times during my stay. Overall, this was a terrible experience that I can only condemn."

The location was very convenient for the bull ring, where we were going to a live concert. The room was a little tired but comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were good and I liked the swimming pool, although getting a sunlounger was difficult as there were lots of sunloungers but they were mostly 'reserved' with towels (no-one using them though!). The neighbourhood was a bit rough, although I didn't feel unsafe wondering around but wouldn't have enjoyed doing so on my own. We had a room on the road side of the hotel and on Friday morning road works (digging) started at 07:40 which woke us up and we were unable to get back to sleep. The rooms were a little tired but clean, except for the drain holes in the bathroom sinks, where a little bleach and a clean with a brush wouldn't go amiss.

Hotel was really good and have no complaints about anything. The staff were really helpful especially Liborio at the chill out bar in the evenings who helped make our holiday even better. Would recommend and would definitely return.

Immaculate Hotel, very helpful, friendly staff. Pool area fabulous. Slightly out of town...15 min walk to Centre. Bus stop right outside front door though.

Beautiful Hotel, pool area was gorgeous and breakfast was amazing. Great to have underground parking too but at a cost. Had a ceasar salad at dinner and it cost €13.50 and it was a tiny bowl with bit of lettuce, bit of tomatoe and tiny bit of chicken so a bit pricey I thought. Overall though I would definitely return. Staff very nice too

Can get busy during the summer, with First Holy Communions, and weddings, but it’s a nice hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. They have a great swimming pool which has long opening hours. There are sun beds but they do need to offer more as it was very busy during our stay. The rooms are well Fitted out. Excellent air con and WiFi. Beds are large and comfortable with fantastic pillows. Bathrooms are good but we were excited for the spa shower but the spa part wa not working. They offer a small fridge but they are not properly cold. The interiors are well done throughout the hotel. This is a fantastic hotel and stay and is well suited for couples and families. It is also very affordable. Plenty of free parking around the area which appears safe.

Too expensive hotel for what is being offered... Bed was huge and is good, the rest looks old, internet is slow speed and I was under assult in this hotel and got hurt.. not a very safe place to stay at..

Great hotel. Great room, great (huge) bed, great staff, great value (during November anyway) - one shortcoming the foyer bar was closed before midnight this disabling nightcapping.

The hotel is in a great location that is only a short walk from the historical centre of Murcia. The hotel rooms and facilties are modern, clean and kept in great condition. The staff are helpful and obliging. The breakfast is full of fresh food a d produce. I would recommend to friends and stay in hotel Nelva again

My short stay was very comfortable and calm which is exactly what I needed. The staff were very attentive and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Murcia. A quiet place yet not too far from the city center

An excellent corporate hotel just outside old town Mercia. Room & bathroom was exceptional. Maid service was excellent each day. Couldnt fault breakfast of fresh fruit, cheese hams, pastries and scrambled eggs and bacon as extra hot food. Spanish coffee was of a high quality. We had an evening snack at the outside resturant & that was very nice but not as cheap as you could buy in the city. Also no shower gel with the complimentary shampoo & soap. Did miss that little extra detail as presumed it would be at this 4 star hotel. Only draw back of the hotel was the pool was closed. We were not told when booking this hotel that the pool was only open at wkends. Our stay was Monday to Thursday. I personally expect to swim at least twice a day wjen on holiday & as the temperatures sored to 38 degrees the week of our stay, we were very disappointed the pool was not open as were others. Staff should of be available at a set time eg from 8_10am & 4_6 pm for visitors to use the pool or state the closure to booking companies eg easyjet holidays when booking the holiday so visitors are not disappointed. The pool was the reason I booked the hotel in the first place. Pool will be open every day from June _ Oct! Our stay was mid May. Staff were very helpful despite limited English. Found a direct walk into the centre (15mins) but our first walk took nearly 1 hr despite rough directions. There were no city maps in the hotel to help us with directions. A Bus stop is right ouside the hotel, the bus was very cheap. Overall a lovely adult hotel & city to visit if you enjoy tapas, wine beer, architecture & sunshine. Hotel is fabulous if you dont mind walking or catching taxis & no pool until June.

Great 4-star hotel near the city centre of Murcia. You can walk to the city centre (15 minutes). Car park underneath the hotel. Rooms are well equipped (Daikin AC (+++) refrigerator, bath and shower, flatscreen, small sofa’s)

Loved this hotel. Great position, car park, very helpful staff and very comfortable rooms. Bed was huge and room very warm as a/c wasn't operating but a great stay.

Great place, lovely staff and nice rooms. A little old but very well maintained. Breakfast was nice although the coffee wasnt great. You can walk to the centre from the hotel in about 20 minutes but avoid going through the area opposite the hotel, Bario La Fama, which is notorious.

One of our Spanish friends booked this hotel for us to stay in Murcia for his wedding. We stayed for a week and had a great time. The bedrooms were excellent and air-conditioned and the facilities at the hotel were superb. We made full use of the outdoor pool to cool down in the heat and the poolside bar to relax later. Although Hotel Nelva is on the outskirts of the city, there are plenty of local facilities and inexpensive restaurants nearby. Our room-only accommodation was only £306.46 for the whole week - fantastic value for money. Breakfast was €11 pppd - with a good selection of food. We've been to Spain many times, but this was the first time we'd stayed inland. We weren't disappointed. Prices were very reasonable compared to coastal resorts - and the coast is only about 30 miles away. Will definitely consider Hotel Nelva again for our next stay in Murcia.

The standard of this hotel are amazing! Clean and tidy rooms with consistent maid cleaning service where the maids don’t take anything which is rare on most holidays I’ve been on! Staff was very friendly special mention to the barman of the wonderful chill out area Pablo ( Don pablo) so friendly and very good English which was helpful for advice! Overall really great time at this place only downside the food wasn’t the best but staff and everyone excellent

Lovely modern hotel. Staff were excellent and made our stay most enjoyable. Good location for discovering Murcia. Murcia worth visiting. We visited from Scotland.

I’ve lost an AirTag when staying here. I’ve written to the hotel both via their really bad chat robot on their page and via email, asking if they can send it. I can totally understand if they can’t send it, but not replying to my messages is extremely bad service. Also the fact that I can see that someone has found it and taken it to an address that seems to be a home address makes me very annoyed. Thieves and not replying to emails is part of the experience, and unfortunately I can’t recommend this hotel because of this.

Tried to rent a room for my family but the concierge was very rude and did not let us rent because my wife didnt bring her passport. I had mine but that wasnt enough apparently.

Everything was very good, but the coffee for some reason they use long life milk... not nice And it is unbelievable that the TV has no English channels , they have French, Russian Italian, no sib titles....

Didnt choose this myself. Put in this hotel after our flight home was cancelled. The accommodation was lovely. Only complaint would be that the power shower in the room didn't work, only the standard overhead one did. Normal Spanish buffet breakfast which was adequate. Right in the centre of Murcia so plenty to do till our rescheduled flights .

It's a really good hotel with aircon which is very important . Fabulous staff. My only small gripe would be breakfast. If all you want is just coffee and toast you will have to pay 11 euro for the .buffet breakfast

Beautiful hotel with every facility and amenities you need. Free parking all around, with lots of shops located around. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The interior decor was it a very high standard. The room was absolutely beautiful and a good size. The pool area was great with enough seating and a bar.
