Location
wise
this
hotel
is
just
a
few
minutes
walk
from
the
cathedral
and
river.
It
is
in
a
narrow
back
street.
The
room
itself
was
relatively
small
in
size
and
included
a
bathroom
with
bath
and
over
bath
shower.
The
two
single
beds
pushed
together
more
or
less
filled
the
room.
The
mattress
was
very
soft
and
indented
with
use,
raised
at
the
edges
and
sunken
in
the
centre.
The
bedding
was
clean.
Breakfast
was
a
small
buffet.
Cooked
items
were
mini
hotdog
sausages,
the
very
cheapest
pre
packed
bacon
that
looked
like
it
had
been
microwaved
into
life
and
some
dried,
luke
warm
scrambled
egg.
Everything
about
the
breakfast
buffet
was
clean
and
tidy
but
the
very
cheapest
items
available.
There
are
some
details
that
needed
attention.
1:
The
state
of
the
decor
in
the
room
was
tired.
Beneath
the
window
the
wall
paper
was
stained
and
peeling
where
water
or
condensation
had
damaged
over
time.
In
general,
partly
perhaps
because
of
the
small
size
of
the
room,
the
wallpaper
was
scuffed
and
dirty
where
people
had
sidled
around
the
bed.
2:
The
tea
and
coffee
facilities,
not
always
available
in
a
Spanish
hotel,
were
two
sachets
of
decaffeinated
coffee
and
no
milk.
3:
The
bathroom
was
clean
but
in
need
of
renovation.
The
bath
was
completely
rusted
around
the
overflow
outlet
and
the
maintenance
solution
was
white
paint.
Random
holes
in
the
wall
of
the
bathroom
indicated
where
once
other
facilities
may
have
been
attached.
One
shouldn't
need
to
point
out
such
obvious
lack
of
attention
in
maintaining
clean
and
comfortable
rooms.
