Cool little museum with a good collection of artifacts from the Cook Islands and neighbouring countries. I learned about the history of the country and its people, and have more of an understanding of where they fit in the world. There is a little art gallery down the back too. The staff are lovely.

Smallish space but good information and displays. There is a display of historic stone adzes atm, and a video of recent archeological excavations

Wish it were in a more prominent location. Ended up at the old museum that is attached to the library. A case of mistaken identity.

Entry is just a voluntary gold coin. Interesting, but not large. Easy to get to and worth a look.

beautiful place to visit, the displays was awesome and if you're into history and admiring the beautiful tools and cultural costume that has been work back in the day - you will enjoy what the museum has to offer you. A place where one can connect to the cook islands.

👍👍 It's a great walk up to the Needle, the views at the top are amazing. You will need to have a good level of fitness, wear good shoes, take plenty of water. Best to start from the township side of the track and you can either complete the whole walk and end up coming out by the abandoned Sheraton hot...
