I have been to many hole in the wall cheap hibachi shops and this is the bay far the best one of all. I got steak hibachi and spicy tuna. Spicy tuna was not the whole chunk but chopped and mushed still tasty and good quality. More spicy tuna than rice and other ingredients which is a plus. Steak in hibachi was in point. Not too chewy and didn't have to pay for extra hibachi mayo sauce. Great place definitely will visit again!

I have been very excited to try out Ahi Poke and was not disappointed. It is downtown on Clayton St, so it can be difficult to find parking during busy times. You come in, fill out a sheet of what you want, pay for the food, and then wait for them to serve it up for you. It was not a long wait at all. I loved that I could choose exactly what I wanted to try, and my choices turned out to be delicious. There are a decent amount of tables for you to sit at, and it wasn’t too busy on a Thursday evening. I would recommend trying it out.

The absolute best poke place ever! Not only is it super affordable compared to other places but they give you a huge serving! The ingredients are yummy and fresh and the people there are always so sweet! Fast service too! No extra $ for add ons or anything. Even when I graduate and move back to Atlanta, I will still go here atleast once a month because it’s THAT good!

I ordered a hibachi plate with steak and asked for medium. When I get the meal I realize the steak is raw and kindly go to the lady working at the cashier and ask if they can throw it on the grill for a little longer. She says: “you asked for medium this is medium, so your telling me you want well done?” I tell her sure and she brings me a new plate. The picture below is of the supposed “well done steak” that they gave me. She continues to swear that the steak is well done even though it’s rare or even medium rare at best. Please go to a different restaurant if u want hibachi. Choo choo is another great restaurant for hibachi near by that is cheaper and knows how to cook steak.

I absolutely love this place! Their poke bowls are incredible and the hibachi is great too! They're always friendly, quick, and they never forget to throw in napkins and utensils. I highly recommend them!

I've lived in Athens all my life, and I have faithfully gotten sushi from another restaurant in the same vicinity. I've driven past Ahi many times, but I dismissed it because of what it looked like on the OUTSIDE. Big, huge mistake! On a whim I ordered a poke bowl (which I've never had before). Y'all, this was SO good. A bowl full of fresh, tasty ingredients..I 100% agree that this place has amazing food. Do not hesitate to try it. It's absolutely delicious!!

Chicken hibachi had more veggies then anything, rice was very bland, no flavor didnt taste fresh, and asked for hibachi sauces, which if you have been to any hibachi restaurant they always have the sauces, they gave us 3 soy packets and 2 duck packets. Would not order from them again..

Small, but clean. The poke was fast and delicious. I do have to take off a star because some of the sushi rice was a little hard. Maybe next time I will order it on salad instead of rice.

I love poké, and Ahi does it right. Their ingredients are fresh and come in good sized portions, and their service is fast and friendly! I love trying out new combos in my bowl, it feels like you can’t go wrong.

I’ve been trying to find a great poke bowl place for a while now. This place is about 30ish min from where I live but boyyyy it’s WORTH it. Look no further Ahi is the place to go. The service is quick; you circle out what you want on sheet of paper and it is made immediately right in front of you. The price is spectacular!!! And you cannot be the quality of the sushi meat. I will be coming to ahi often! 10/10 would def recommend… shoot it’s a 12/10 in my books! P.s. I ate half the bowl before I took the pic because I couldn’t wait 😂

Use to really like this place before the accuracy of orders and portion size of the meats decreased. Multiple occasions where I order "chicken & steak" by phone/online and get "chicken & shrimp". Also, they are not including the yum yum sauces automatically anymore. Wont be back.

I had the steak hibachi. It was good. They made it for me quick enough for me to eat it in the restaurant on my lunch hour (even counting walking down town and back!). The prices are good too. I plan to go back and would recommend them to a friend.

Today I got a regular poke bowl though with salmon and shrimp. My toppings were masago, tempura flakes, avocado (extra $), and corn. Usually when I get a large bowl, I'll add the ahi tuna. Their tuna does tend to taste a little frozen though, not as fresh. I also don't recommend the spicy tuna but that's more of a texture thing for me since the rice is already soft with the masago.

Great food, staff, and service. I’ve been going there since they opened, but unfortunately, they’ve been slowly increasing prices and decreasing portions.

Nice place, nice location, nice staff. I have it 4 stars because it's very similar to other anerican-asian eateries. I would go here before Panda Express, given the choice. There's more diverse foods there but I got the lunch special. It was good, I can for sure say that. It doesn't necessarily draw me in, but it's still good. Give it a shot.

I have tried other similar places but I always come back to this one...tasty and fresh made food is always good.

This place IS AMAZING!!!!! The poke bowls are like a sushi roll but in a bowl…. Their lo mein noodles are to die for and the habachi is even better!!! I HAVE FOUND MY DOWNTOWN EATERY!!!

This is hands down the best poke establishment I have ever set foot into. Their fish is fresh and tasty and the toppings are amazing. Not only is the poke amazing, the hibachi is the best for the price and all of their appetizers SLAP. The price is just incredible for the amount and quality of food. Love it here forever and ever.

So fresh. So good. I’ll also add that they were so fast. If you’re in the mood for poke, this spot should be on your list. I was staying in the Hilton Garden Inn and it was incredibly convenient. It’s not as cheap as other reviews made it seem, but it’s worth the price.

Do not judge by the outside. Chicken fried noodles are tasty. Fast counter serve, even when they get a large burst of people. Basic tables and atmosphere. If you want a quick and tasty lunch with no frills next to the Classic conference center, it is a great choice.

Best poke place in Athens and everywhere else I've been to so far hands down. The hibachi is also great compared to other options in town. The service is always great and the owner is a very nice dude! This place will be one thing I miss about Athens and UGA.

Incredible poke. I think it's the best food in Athens. I believe their other food is also good but seriously, the poke is where it's at. You can't find these flavors anywhere else.

Extremely disappointed in my veggie hibachi. Other places I’ve gotten veggie options at least had a 2-3 veggie medley (carrots/ zucchini/ broccoli/ onions). My veggie hibachi was just straight broccoli with 1 singular carrot slice and one singular zucchini slice. It did have some cabbage/ 5ish onion slices. But if you are looking for a veggie option I would not recommend. Absolute waste of my money. If I wanted broccoli and rice I coulda just made it myself lol.

I got hibachi steak and shrimp with miso soup. It is savory and even more savory with the sauce🤤 But I found a little piece of yarn in the soup..

Service is great. I’ve only had the poke bowl but the regular size is so big it’s hard to finish it all. Absolutely delicious and the prices are great. Defo recommend

Their poke bowls have some really great options, and this is the only place i know that offers crab salad as a side. The hibachi also has VERY tasty rice and meat, in comparison to anywhere else of a similar price

I decided to stop by on a whim and ordered their steak and shrimp entree. Wait wasn't long and food is good. I asked for medium steak and actually got it. Hibachi sauce is a little watery but that's the only thing. Delicious meal for $12. Will come back.

Quality food & generous portions at decent prices

Large bowl of poke is amazing! Great price and great quality! Absolutely delicious! My partner has Bern raving about them! We came to Athens from Florida and this was the only place he wanted to eat immediately.

The only reason they got 2 stars was because the rice, though so bland It was like just putting grains in my mouth, was edible. The shrimp and vegetables were coated in some sort of awful sauce, none of my family could eat them. The shrimp was obviously frozen and of poor quality, definitely not fresh. I would say you get what you pay for but Tokyo II in Monroe has the same prices and is such good quality with amazing taste, it is worth the 30 minute drive! We will never order from here again. For local, if you want good food, go to Sakura.

Not going to lie, this place for some reason looks low-key sketchy to being eating raw fish from, BUT you have to give it a try! I get a poke bowl with spicy tuna and spicy crabmeat and then load that up with all my favorite toppings. PRO TIP: ADD THE PINEAPPLE -- you won't regret it. I go here at least once a week, it's become a problem. It is sooooo yummy.

Service took forever. We waiting over 45 minutes to get our food and watched at least 10 to go orders get their food before us.

OUTSTANDING poke here. The ordering process was straightforward and easy. Food was ready in less than two minutes. Entire restaurant was clean and parking was nearby and accessible. This is a delicious place that deserves business here in Athens. I hope to be eating here a lot in the future and sampling the entire menu.

I love Ahi!! I've gone here so many times that I'm one punch away from a free bowl. The owners are so sweet and the portions and quality of food is amazing for the price. This place is amazing and I won't be going anywhere else for poké except here! The hibachi menu is also really good and super large portions

Here's the thing about Ahi that tells me I can always trust the food I get from there, which is something you've got to be concerned about when you're getting raw seafood: the soy sauce packets they throw in with your togo order are real soy sauce. I'm sure it's cheaper to get the packets of salty caramel food coloring, and a lot of Americans aren't going to notice the difference, but they go the extra mile to include the real thing because it's better. Also, they don't charge extra when you add avocado to your order, how great is that?
