The gym is nice but I pay extra for a black card and no one was available to help me with getting access to the massage area for over 20 mins. Now I have to go to work and I really wanted a nice relaxing massage before I went. So much for “black card perks”.

PF Lawrenceville is going through a remodel, which was much needed. It looks great now, aside from the remaining areas they need to finish or clean up. The layout is more functional now and the new equipment and addition of the 360 equipment (finally!) is fantastic. Employees are nice. As far as cleanliness— I see employees clean what seems to be their hourly rotations, but they can’t help it if so many of the gym-goers are just dirty. Nasty. Lazy. This Lville branch seems to have quite a bit of people who have no common manners/cleanliness of picking up after themselves. There are trash cans everywhere, yet lazy gym-goers leave trash around. (Or so this has been my observation over the last year)

I like the gym. It’s clean and works for my needs. I love that there is an app to check how crowded the gym is. Another great feature of the app is that you can see how machines are to be used if you’re ever unsure. I also love that there are massage chairs and massage tables available to black card guests. Helpful staff are always there when needed.

Staff are extra helpful; the owners of the franchise, though, need to get their "hotels out of their alphas"; the recent renovation at the gym has gone well except for the shaft they gave the men in regards to the men's locker room; after several weeks of the men having to use porta johns while their locker room was renovated, the owners/corporate management gave the men's locker room to the women while the women's locker room was renovated. Quite inconvenient and disrespectful to men, about 50% of their customers. Otherwise, the gym is well-maintained, and again, the staff are excellent, very helpful.

This planet fitness unlike others doesn’t care for their employees they let members harass and threaten the staff and do nothing about it. What kind of establishment are yall running because just as important are the members are so should the staff be. Especially when other members were around to see the harassment and how the member was being hostile with the staff but it’s just brushed under the rug.This is so unprofessional in so many ways especially when a member of the gym also recorded the hostile members actions towards the staff member but you still allow this member back in the gym. Great management and I see and how staff is truly treated and much of importance they are to this franchise and their wellbeing.

I love the front desk! They make me feel safe and like I’m apart of a family, everyone is so sweet and attentive! Especially Micheal! He is always there for you and supporting you. I’m never afraid to try something new there because I know someone will help me along the way!

I had a very horrific experience tonight regarding an employee named Khaleel. He disrespectfully cursed me and my friend out because we didn’t understand the membership payments. Followed by saying he doesn’t care about his job and he’ll call the police on us. Do NOT recommend this gym.

The 2 women that work the night shift are simply amazing they keep that gym spotless I go to different gyms because I travel throughout the US and this by far is the best & the cleanest gym ever!!! All other gyms should take note this is how it should be run... I will continue to use this facility when I travel out of town in this area. I honestly have to say it is way better than my home gym in New port richey Florida💪😎👍

Just re-signed back up since Covid. A lot has changed, for the better. Easy sign-up process, and I'm ready to go! Can't wait to get back in shape, and this is the place to do it.

This is my local planet fitness. I am so disappointed in this location compared to the other planet fitness locations I go to. It is always missing pieces of equipment that people just walk out with. The clientele that come to this location are not very good on cleaning equipment after use. Everything seems worn down and old. Also recently I was told that at night homeless people are allowed to come in and take showers and use the locker rooms. I do have compassion for the homeless but I think this possibly a chance for theft and the safety of the members in the locker room with them. If there is no one in the locker rooms with them to watch and make sure they are not going to lockers. I was told when I started the gym that there is an age restriction of 16. Two days ago I was in the locker room and a lady had her two-year-old daughter with her walking out to go work out. Isn’t this a liability to the club?

The location is open but currently undergoing renovations. Half of the floor space and equipment is not available. The men's restroom is not available. There are portapotties in the parking lot for men to use. Yes, I kid you not. The front desk guy said it'll be another 3-4 weeks until renovation is complete.

I tried one more time to go here and the place is trashed and the staff is either hiding in the room by the front door or out in his car which I seen both times. Weights laying everywhere. Empty water bottles and trash laying everywhere!! The floors look like they haven't been swept and cleaned for two days. It's also very cramped and the only thing they have alot of is treadmills and ellipticals. There always was a leak in the middle of the free weight floor from a dripping pipe overhead. No wet floor signs to warn anyone . This place needs to really get it together. This is the third time I've been here and experienced the same thing except the water leak. I will definitely be changing my home gym

Michael W. was at the front for my trial day and he was so nice and helpful. I came back the following Monday and decided to join with the black card perks. This location is clean and all equipment works. Can’t wait to try the one by my job.

I love how clean they keep this facility. I go at 5AM and the staff who are there at that time are awake, friendly, and professional. It's always "quiet" because everyone is focused on their workout. The location is very convenient. I would definitely recommend this gym.

The equipment needs to be maintained better. The machines are squeaky. The machines are out of alignment. The cables are stretched. The bench machines are always down, they just need maintenance

My experience at PF Lawrenceville was phenomenal! It was my fist time ever signing up and omg! Words aren’t enough to describe how good I feel! Josh, Michael W, and Xavier were awesome staff! Their customer service skills were so great! They made my son and I feel welcomed and at home, especially with me having a rough day. They answered all of my questions and concerns..it was worth the drive from Sugar Hill! I recommend this location to anyone any day! Great overall experience! The hydro massage was my favorite!

It gets really crowded at times with only a few dozen machines. The locker rooms are clean and don't smell bad. The staff is very friendly and ensure that the gym is clean. It's a good gym, but there is not a lot of machines.

This was the worst experience with PF- BUFORD. They changed their contract although advertisements still saying " cancel anytime". I actually did not get my online contract conveniently until canceling. They swiped another month onto my card. The bathroom renovation make it inconvenient for me in particular and members. Upon joining i am told the renovation should be done following weeks end. But one month later it's still not done. The external shower accommodations are not available after my signing. I am given the run around, no key, not at nite, the gas is out, etc. Then, renovation begins and inconveniently the men's showers are done first. ???? Today 8/24/22, women's showers still are not complete and my month was suddenly cut short from August 16-September 15 ????? Instead of de-stressing, this place has caused me too much stress. Disgraceful! READ THE NEW CONTRACT!! if you've been away awhile. It's hype like everything else these days. It's not just $10 anymore. But $10, enroll $39, annual $39 and your monthly $10 or $25. And took away the free continental breakfast & pizza party. ( like we need pizza & bagels) so it's not like added incentives. The owner actually acts like a jerk with me after 3 years spent. I am not using the gym and they canceled my access scan, GGIVE ME BACK MY MONEY! Is this business or thugging? They should discount members instead of gouging funds.

I signed up with Destiny and she was very professional, friendly, and patient and answering my questions. She was very well informed and easy to talk to. She did not hard pressure sell me. Planet fitness is lucky to have Destiny! The facility is also very clean and, well-maintained!

Hi, I’ve been going to this location for a while . The ladies working out there are no bored what so ever , as a matter of fact . It has been extremely beneficial in many ways . For the lady that had a negative comment here , let me just say , lady stay focus on YOUR workout and enjoy! A good music vibe and happy people should not make you loss YOUR progress in your weight loss. Lastly PT should also accommodate the ladies that are also a valuable gym goer . You can’t beat the price of only $10/month. ($39 annual renewal fee) but I’m disappointed that they fired their trainer. I really enjoyed working with Michel.

It’s cool! Didn’t mean to get another membership, 1/2 hr later I go to gym and have him cancel it because other one is still active, guy didn’t tell me you need a manager to refund it! So it was canceled yet it’s 3 weeks later and I’m still waiting for the refund .. spoke to manager and he said he has to get it approved … it’s 2022 can’t be that serious

It's a Planet Fitness. Has all the equipment you could want and it's well maintained for being a bit on the older side. Haven't had to deal with staff much but they seem friendly and helpful. If anything, free weight area is very small and cramped. It's weirdly crowded in the middle of the day, and with the summer promo it's now full of kids who don't know what they're doing and take up too much space. But nothing they can do about that. Best bet is get here early in the AM or late in the PM.

My 1st time at planet fitness - it was wonderful I love the workout area the Equipment was kept clean. The receptionist explained everything to me as far as the plans, hours of operation & perks.

Ive been coming to this gym off and on for almost two years and its been basically horrible each time. One man intimidated me off my equipment as a staff member watched. The equipment is always broken or unkept because I got ringworm here back in July.They barley ever have any staff upfront and i have seen multiple people who don't pay for a subscription I'm assuming just walk in and do whatever. People hog the machines and don't workout they just sit on their phones. I literally watched a man sit on his phone for the whole hour I was there on the same bench press and didn't even workout once. This place is disorganized and its sad Edit: the gym is being renovated and all those who are paying and aren't always able to go due to renovations and lack of equiptment and men's locker room being shut off... also the store being closed when the hours say open and no emails or notices that the stores hours are changing is unprofessional... Send a message out.. Also if you've been paying especially for black card and weren't able to go during the times the gym was completly shut down don't expect your money back because they refuse to compensate for the times they didn't communicate the gym was closed and being renovated. They say to go to another location when we all know that the other locations near this area are about 20 plus minutes out the way. Also the owner needs to step up and actually manage their staff and store. You can reply to these all you want but you aren't doing a thing to help the situation. You should probably compensate people instead of telling them to go to another location. Do better guys this is so stupid

Only half of the club were open for about one month due to the remodeling. None of the cable machines nor legs machines were available. When i ask the staff if planet fitness will consider compensate the Members for the inconvenience like 50% off for the month or something. The staff declined and offered us the access to other locations however that is not convenient as the nearest one is another 20min drive. As a black card member myself, I already have the access to all locations and I can't believe they thought it is okay to only open half of the gym but still collecting the full membership fee

I visited Planet Fitness on 9/15/23 and received a warm welcome upon arrival. Shawn, the only staff member on duty, informed me about ongoing renovations, restricting access to the men's locker room. The gym was temporarily divided with large plastic sheets, and Shawn kindly offered to secure my bag behind the counter. Despite the renovations, the gym was impressively clean with all machines operational, and ample cleaning supplies available throughout.

This gym deserves ZERO STARS. I paid for a black card memebership and the hydro bed is always out of service. When it was available it broke and my entire back got soaked with the liquid that be inside. I told the front desk and he just said ok nonchalantly. I was using the stairmaster and one of the steps was fragile and felt like it would cave in. I’ve seen roaches in the bathroom more than once. I understand they are renovating and recently they demolished the female locker room without notifying anyone and just took our things that was in the lockers and threw them in the trash. They have emails and phone numbers and could have literally put up signs warning people to get there personally belongings. The employees do not have knowledge of the equipment and machines the girl with the wigs didn’t know what a rowing machine was she also couldn’t explain what the body enhancement machine was for, the personal trainers aren’t knowledgeable either so getting a black card is a complete waste of time. I DO NOT recommend this gym not even if it’s across the street from your house.

The gym is updating the equipment, and I am happy about that. The only problem I have is when I want to use the hydro bed, at least one is down or not working properly. I paid extra to have those services and would like to use it when I do go. Hopefully, they will replace those beds while updating the gym.

I made a quick phone call to this location. Michael was super helpful with my questions. I was a regular years ago. The facilities were clean and the employees were respectful. I was a frequent visitor for the free pizza, free bagels, and the deal there was for high school students.

Every time I come to this location my experience is always a good one. Josh is real helpful and always is there when me or my partner needs any type of help. He always keeps planet fitness standard on point and keeps me at this location.

This facility is always super clean and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. They have plenty equipment to keep you working on even on those busy Mondays.

Gym is kept in good conditions and most of the staff are nice. My concern comes in when it come to terms of how harassment is dealt with by both other customers and how one of the staff named Jackie deals with it. I was being made uncomfortable by an older gentleman in the gym and had to move to a different part of the gym to workout. I was than approached by Jackie who saw me dancing in between workout sets, as I’ve done for the past 3 months. She addressed me dancing I. A way that I could get hurt and suggested that I workout in the “ab section”, to which I told her about being made uncomfortable by an older gentleman. Jackie knew of this man and his behavior to the point where she knew the man by name. To put this conundrum in lesser words, the night ended with me being told by other workers that Jackie was having them keep an eye out for ME instead of the other gentleman and tried scanning my card to cancel my membership without my knowing consent. This enabling behavior made me most upset and concerned for my safety at this gym and I now have to find somewhere where I’m appreciated as a customer and I suggest any other women and fem presenting people do the same.

After the gyms renovation the gyms looking good these days. But, with that being said, there's this group of ladies who takes up the middle part of the gym with what looks to be some sort of classes, play their loud music, cheer and yell, and completely takes you off your rhythm while working out. If this was a class provided by the gym, fine, but since it's not it's a bit annoying to have to deal with that.
