I went to the mall to check out the Living Dead Museum and the George A. Romero bust (located on the lower level, below the living dead Museum floor). Great place to visit and shop. There is a Spencer's in the mall too, I haven't been to one of those stores in years. I really went to visit the mall because of the film Dawn of the Dead.

From what I heard, it used to be a great mall. In my opinion, it’s still worth a visit. Monroeville Mall doesn’t have all the other big chains known in big cities, but there are plenty of good stores to take a look at. You can also find in the complex a Cinemark theater.

Nice mall with a legendary past. Most malls are closing down but this one has stood the test of time. This is where they filmed the first classic dawn of the dead film. The mall has changed since: the ice skating ring was removed and the waterfall area has been changed as many other things. However the food court and the movie theatre are still good reasons to visit.

Amazed there are still stores inside a mall. Many name brand chain and smaller retail options. Prices were good for each store from higher end to bargains. There's 4 different AA pretzel shops not sure why. Have not been to location in over 15 years and was amazed to see the original entrance as I know it with the structure still standing. Not to crowded during week. Disappointed in closing time. There was a Penny's and Macy's and those are places that have pulled out of the surrounding areas I live in. The interior was clean and spacious.

Mall was good today! Not to many people. And there is a new store right next to ms.feilds cookies. Cool place, the clothes are right up my alley. I went in looked around and got 2 shirts. I love to support new business and the dude working there was cute too! I will definitely be returning to see what they put out next.

I've only been here once, but the experience was delightful. A big open place and super fun! But I've heard this place could also be dangerous and shootings has even happened here. But I haven't experienced that when going here.. I know that the West Monroeville Mall is safer, but you do you! This Mall is a good place to find lots of items, have fun and take your time! :)

Monroeville Mall sprang up after Eastland Mall went into disrepair. The Barnes and Noble book store that is attached to the M mall is one of the best Barnes and Nobles around. It is the only one that has music CDs and Vinyl that are current and archived. And the magazine rack is superior...almost as good as the book store in Cabella's area of WV. The front door book selections catch your eye effectively.

Awesome nostalgic feeling. Many malls down south are closing, it’s great to see this one still thriving. Very clean, great food court. I’ll definitely go here again.

Nice museum gift shop for fans of zombie movies. In the same mall where dawn of the dead was shot. For 8 dollars there is a really cool museum tour self guided with many screen used and reproduction pictures props autographs and more.

Monroville Mall has a variety of shops, and places to eat. They have a play area, arcade, and it’s clean!

Still has that, old Monroeville Mall feel to it. Which, is good, and bad. Entrances into the mall, need better lighting and something LIVELY happening there. Bring back CLOTHING stores, NOT, hip-hop clothing, update the food court. Has so much potential.

Mall use to be very busy. 1st time I've been here in a few years a there are a lot of empty stores. Many moved out such as Bath and Body Works. Food court has a lot of stores but with lack of traffic, how fresh is the food?

It's not all what it used to be now-a-days. It's still got your general clothing stores, some shoe stores, it still has a Hot Topic and a Spencer's and a movie theater, But the mall in general isn't the best. There are others that are alot better and more engaging. 4/10

Desolate throughout the week. Many stores don't exist to pull in customers like yesteryears. Spacious since some stores have relocated. Clean usually. Food court seems to be holding up but it too is different.

I just wish there was more to do than just eat and go clothes shopping. Sure there's Hot Topic and Spencer's. And let's not forget the movie theater. But there's not much else aside from different clothing/shoe shops. I don't know. Just wish there was something new.

Tons of parking, but feels like a mall on the decline. Sad food court, but has one of the more unique offerings I've seen in a mall with Pearl of the Orient. Nice Hallmark store inside too.

Lots of space and many retailers. Shop, eat, and have fun.

They need to get better store options. It's a great mall but after the shenanigans years ago, it isn't recovering. Monroeville can get their Mojo back. They need good store that have great options with current in-style options.

Great concerns. Not the same mall that it used to be yet, neither is life what it used to be. All of the High end unique stores are No longer. Only a few regulars like Victoria Secret / Macy's etc. There were quite a few discount shops like RAINBOW and a few 10.00 and under stores. Really surprised me .

I went into Macy's just looking and found the style and color sofa I needed for my living room. Best of all, it was on sale, and I got an extra 20% off the sales price. Excellent purchase. Macy's sometimes have awesome sells.

This is the mall that time forgot. Looks like it was decorated in the late 70’s and never updated. It’s “Dawn of the Dead” claim to fame is worth a look but don’t expect to come for much more, there is better shopping surrounding the mall than in it.

Good- parking;store hours; diverse items to be obtained; food court -diverse No so good- size limitations (33x34 men's pants -are hard to find.) Styles from one store to another were extremely similar. Was rushed for time. Person who needed the pants waited to last minute to have others shop for them.

The Mall itself is pretty solid and it has plenty of spaces available to people who want to set up a shop, the food court has a rather wide selection though I think they could use more restaurants, one thing I wish the mall had would be a video store of some kind and or a video game store

I haven't been to this mall in years, mainly because I do not live near. It's still a pretty lively mall, still has some major stores. We took advantage of this and enjoyed our time. Get out there and off your couch and support the stores that are still there!

It's alright I like the fact that there's a movie theater inside it and that's where we went to see the new Tom Hanks movie A Man named Otto. It's on Netflix now but I'm glad I got to see you on the big screen. Monroeville Mall is in a good place and it's by the convention center. I can't remember all the stores but it had a lot of the ones I was looking for. There's a lot of sales going on now to which is nice took some pictures of the beautiful sunset when we were leaving.

Not a lot here of interest in terms of shops and not a lot open early on a Saturday. My daughter loved the play area, though.

Better than I expected it to be!!! Lots of stores! Lots of people! Police officers patrolling. Nice to see it busy!!

Unfortunately this mall has gone down hill over the past 10 years. What used to be a great shopping area has now turned into a run down facility. It seems this is happening to almost all malls in the U.S. a ton of stores are no longer in there like GameStop and other niche outlets due to a factor of reasons.

If you're ever visiting in the Pittsburgh area it's a must see you for the night of the living dead exhibition upstairs. The movie was shot hear back when GC Murphy still had a store downstairs. More recently it's experienced a pretty high degree of shootings- which saw a police substation installed in the mall a few years ago. So plan your trips accordingly and perhaps avoid it on high traffic evenings.

My wife and I have spent many years shopping at the mall. When we were younger and even Gimbel's was a good store. The mall was booming, the hustle of people shopping. Old dudes smoking pipes and cigarettes, sitting on benches in the corridors. We used to get a big kick out of shopping there. The number of stores available in one place, it was very convenient. This is the reason why we shop there.

Great mall. Convenient location. Easy to navigate. Good size food court. Not extremely busy.

This mall has everything you’d want in my opinion, and is one of the nicest ones in the area. Lots of food options, all kinds of stores big and small, and the surrounding plazas are nice too.

Still a beautiful Mall that is the center of attention in Monroeville! Very happy it's still houses excellent stores, restaurants as well as a theater. It's kept very clean inside & outside grounds.

I love that there is a movie theatre and the food court has pretty good selections. I think it has really gone downhill though. All of the boutiques are a bit much. There used to be Limited Too, Disney Store, WB Store, Things Remembered, and so many great stores. There even used to be Koi ponds.

Despite its age, this mall is in pretty good shape. It's clear effort has been made as it still has life to it. It was nice to see a mall that has a nostalgic feel while also being in great condition.

Nice mall, with good ambiance. The brands however are limited.
