Such a nice place and nice temple in Birchandrapur, Birbhum . This temple is near to tarapith temple. From tarapith you can get small vehicles to reach here and the distance from tarapith is 9kms or you can come from Sainthia station or busstand . From Sainthia you need to take vehicle to reach kotasur then again catch the bus and reach here. Our history says Nityananda Mahaprabhu was born here so this is very good place for hindu religion people .

Birchandrapur NITYANANDA PRABHU TEMPLE, Nitaibari. The temple is located at the place of his birth. The temple preaches the statement of Sri Chaitanya about Nityananda that “without the causeless mercy of Lord Nityananda, one cannot enter into the affairs of Sri Sri Radha and Krishna”. In the age of Kali-yuga,Lord Krishna appears in this material world as Lord Chaitanya, and Balarama appears as Lord Nityananda. Lord Nityananda appeared as Lord Chaitanya’s principal associate for spreading the chanting of the holy name of Lord Krishna. He appeared in Ekachakra around 20 years before the appearance of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, on Sukla Trayodashi, in the month of Magh, in the year 1473, 12th of February. A white temple named ‘Garvabas’ or ‘Sutika Mandir’ has been made at the place where Nitai was born. In Janmasthan Mandir – there is a Idol of Nityananda. The centre of the main altar of the temple is a Idol of Lord Nityananda, to his left, with his hands raised is Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and on Nityananda’s right is Sri Advaita Acharya.

This is the birthplace of Sri Nityananda Prabhu. He is one of the most famous associates of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Ekchakra is known another name of Bribhadrapur or Birchandrapur, the name of Birchandra or Birbhadra, who is the son of Sri Nityananda Prabhu. There have many temples, like, Nitai Janmasthan, ISKCON temple, Nityananda Prabhu's father's Jagannath temple, and the famous Sri Bankimray temple, who is known as Nityananda Prabhu's older brother. The resident of Ekchakra say to invite, 'Jay nitai'

Another peaceful, divine and spiritual place...you'll feel near to the nature, there is a pond where a temple is submerged, you can only see the top of the temple....you can also have food which is really very delicious...

Very beautiful place Birchandrapur Temple - Birchandrapur - Birchandrapur, 10 k.m. away from the Tarapith, is famous for the birth place of Nityananda Swami, co founder of Baisnav religion with Shri Chityanyadev. Birchandrapur, named after Birbhadra Goswami - the son of Nityananda, is a part of the village Ekachakra which according to mythology has been inhabited by the Pandavas. `Akali mandir` is situated at Akalipur, near Bhadrapur, 25 k.m. from Rampurhat and famous for its unique hexagonal structure and had a history of more than 300 years it is associated with Maharaja Nandakumar. According to the lore the ancestral house of Maharaja Nandakumar is still there at Akalipur. At present there is a Vaishnab religious center ISCON TEMPLE with some old temples in Birchandrapur.
