Definitely not your typical microwave Mexican food. The freshness and quality of their food was undeniably the difference. Also they're all day breakfast goes hard, recommend everyone try

If you are looking to have exceptional food for anytime of the day, then Buen Dia Cafe is the spot! Walking in you are met by a warm atmosphere, with a decor you would find outside of Oklahoma, the light decorations and the homemade mugs all add to the experience. The service i have had the three times I’ve been definitely makes me feel like I’m home. Make sure to snag the coffee news by the front door to learn that extra jeopardy knowledge you need to impress your friends. And the food is superb! Breakfast, lunch, or dinner have all made me feel like i was eating out of the country again! They serve rose rock coffee, which as soon as it hits the table you can smell the fruit and chocolately notes swarm your nose. I can’t always tell the future, but i know it holds more visits to Buen Dia Cafe!

I was charged 12 dollars for 2 cokes and that is unacceptable. The food was good but nothing special also service was good and pleasant.

Excellence. The only 8:30 a.m. Mexican breakfast around as far as I know because I couldn't find anyone else that opened that early. The food was Sooooooo Good. Ate Breakfast there 4 days in a row. Really nice staff. You might have to wait a little bit, but it is definitely worth it because everything is fresh and cooked after you order it. I would recommend this establishment for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Been to this place a couple times the last couple weeks. It was the first time in a year or so. Food was great, service is great and they are so nice. Had the Mexican Omelette with biscuit and gravy. You can tell gravy is from scratch and it’s the best I’ve had anywhere around Tahlequah.

My family and I love this place! It’s a staple place for us. I have loved everything I have tried and my kiddos beg to go here. Very authentic, fresh Mexican dishes!

Definitely not what I expected from a Mexican restaurant - people were friendly but food was too Americanized and from a bag.

This place is proof that God loves me and wants me to be happy. The food is Amazing, the service is so kind and attentive Im starting to feel like I'm part of their family, and the atmosphere feels like Im at their house, having an amazing meal. Our new favorite restaurant is also very close to our new house, thus why I believe it to be a sign from God. We literally eat here 3 or 4 times a week, Im still working my way through the menu, but so far everything I've ordered is Soooo delicious. They make Everything from scratch, so it does take them a little longer than fast food or pre-preped mexican food, but you can't rush perfection, and this food is So perfect! They do have a drive-through, so if you're in a hurry, just call ahead. That's what Im about to do! The cheese dip and the guacamole is incredible, and do yourself a favor; try the pork in whatever you order. You won't be sorry.

First time to try this restaurant. Nice people! They do a few menu items which in my opinion helps restaurants do better.

It was our first time dining here, very good. Food was fresh, of course the chips and salsa was so good! We will be going back.

Date of visit 10/21/22 This was like dining at a Mexican friend’s home with their family. Where they cook, season and serve their food as has been family’s style and tradition for generations. What would happen first, well first right after the beers start flowing….make fresh guacamole, of course! We could here the food processor in the kitchen. Out from the kitchen came chips, very good salsa and some of the best, fresh, home style guacamole I have ever had. Great start to a meal. Quickly behind that came the hot salsa I requested. The green and the orangish colored habanero salsas were as fresh as the guacamole. They were amazing! My wife went with a combo meal of a cheese relleno, chicken enchilada with beans and rice. The relleno was a fresh poblano, stuffed with cheese, lightly battered, fried and covered with a reasonable amount of queso, as to not hide the delicious flavor of the fresh poblano. The guacamole, relleno and salsas impressed my wife. I spotted a picture of the taco plate (three crunchy tacos) with beans and rice. Very Good! Just like the guacamole and the salsas, the meals tasted extraordinarily fresh and delicious. Combine the food, with the comfortable dining environment and the friendly service and it was like eating a friend’s house. If you are familiar with the area, this used to be the Wheel House restaurant. It is little building on the north side of Hwy 62, a few miles south of Tahlequah. It is easy to miss, so watch closely. The owner said they had been in business for 2 years. It is a family business that is not associated with other OK Mexican restaurant chains. I am surprised there are so few reviews. The owner bragged on her other menu items, especially the desserts and soups, like sopaipillas, flan, pozole and menudo. Menudo! sorry, MeNoDo menudo, but I’d love to try the sopaipillas! Great meal and wonderful dining experience! Great churros and Mexican potatoes, but please learn how to make over easy eggs, chicos! Yolks were almost cooked thru. Bummer, no biscuits after 2pm, no decaf café. Please do a very deep cleaning (including overhead vents) and rid the place of flies! Gracias!
