Awesome place with lot of development, a lengthy beach with clear water. But not safe for take a bath because of the sudden depth from beach. So be careful. But the overall beach experience will be amazing. The vibe there will make you feel good. During this covid period, we don’t know when the beach will close by the Police.

A perfect evening beach ⛱ If you're nearby this place, it is a must visit to enjoy and spend your evenings peacefully!! Whenever I come here to my cousin's place, this place is a mandatorily required one😄 100% kids friendly, clean and neat place(unlike some places), food counters are also available. Some seating arrangements are also available, where you can sit and enjoy the view and breeze of the beautiful sea 🌊😀 Also, you can click a ton of photos if you're into photography😊

This is the cleanest beach in Kanyakumari. Snacks shops are available in the beach. Neat toilets are available. Well maintained. The only negative point here is bathing in the beach is not allowed due to the sudden depth and roughness of the sea. Overall a good place to visit along with family

Imagine a breathtaking view of the beach right in front of your eyes - the sound of the waves crashing, the salty smell of the sea, and the warm sun on your skin. It's an experience like no other!

Lemur beach is one of the finest attraction around Nagercoil. It has become so popular in last few years. People should ensure not to add plastic waste here and help this place sustain beautifully. Very less space for parking but we cannot complain as nature is more important than parking space.

Serene and clean beach, blue waters. Not allowed to play in the water as the sea is often rough. There is a coast guard to oversee this. Few shops beside the beach like the one selling cotton candy. Beach remains open 24*7. No pass needed.

Amazing to see a very clean beach like this one in Tamil Nadu A crowd less is also a plus point here You will get a very good views and experience of a clean beach Small shops and clean restrooms are available No swimming is allowed due to safety reasons but a visit will be wholesome. For people who miss swimming, they can visit the nearby beach called Muttom rock beach It's a great place for swimming and also for sightseeing...It offers good view points and sunset is a mesmerizing view

This is not a beach it's a grave. I suggest everyone please don't go to this place especially with family and kids to loose your valuable lives after watching some fancy YouTube videos and Google search and reviews. This seashore has no landscape design of the beach that's why this place killed more than 40 people in the last one year . Now management banned the bath and foot bath in this seashore. (This is really very good action.) Finally I request you people to go to other places instead of this deadly area.

Very neat and tidy. There is a parking cost. Because to the high tide and shallow sea bed, it is not safe to travel beyond a certain point. There are few juice shops around. A police officer has been assigned to ensure the safety of the visitors.

I enjoyed fully.... No words for explain... Toilet facilities are available. Worthless fast foods. Need more careful on sea area, have more chances to terrible big waves. Worth for photo shoot. Wedding and couple photoshoot best place for that. No entry fees for all..You can take your own food from home, that is best for all.

One the cleanest beach i have ever seen in tamilnadu till now. The water of the sea also very clean. But you can't bath here. There will be security who always watching. In the evening time the small walk in this beach is best thing.

Very calm, quiet and clean beach in ganapatipuram, Nagarcoil. Some people even call it as the "Marina of Kanyakumari". Located at 18 kms from National Highway (One have to take deviation at Thuckalay) and is very near to the famous Mandaicaudu temple and Muttom beach. They charge Rs 30 as parking charge for car and not so much parking place available nowadays since most of the parking area are covered in water due to heavy rain. No entry fee. I think life guards are not available. So be very careful while playing with the waves. Overall it's a must visit place if you are visiting kanyakumari district and you want to enjoy the beauty of a beach without much rush.

The most cleanest beach ever I have seen! You can peacefully relax here with your loved ones at weekends and here they provide tea, juices, potato snacks, fish fries etc. Enjoy your moments here and have a delightful day! Saw the sun set on live first time! 5.30 - 6.00 pm

What a beautiful, serene and clean beach. It is very quiet and people hardly know about this beach. It has a temple on the beach. These kind of beaches are hardly know to people and it is in India and it is one of a kind. Such beaches are best kept quiet and without any commercial significance and it will keep being beautiful

It is happening to see such a clean beach in India. Being weekend, it was super crowded. But still it was awesome. There are many seats available. Enough taps to clean. Sea is a bit rough. There were police personnel deployed, may be due to holiday crowd. Good amount of parking space as well

One of the finest beach in Kanyakumari district.Lemur beach gives a feel of free access of a private beach but it's always a bit crowded. It has food stalls to quench your thirst and feed your tummy. Also playing instruments to children(paid). Need more developments in future like guest house ,beach parties, surfing, dormitories like lost hostel and some foreign food stalls then for sure Lemur will be next in the line of Varkala(South Indian Goa)

Very well maintained beach. The shore is not crowded. It is a high tide beach. Only experienced swimmers can handle the waves and swim. Not recommended for people who are novice swimmers or do not know how to swim to venture near the water.

Best place to visit with kids and relax. Won't encourage swimming, as it's dangerous. Lot of area to walk and enjoy. Evening time has small vendors with snacks available. Local team makes the area clean and tidy in their best. Horse riding is a new attraction in the seashore.

  • 5/5 Arun 9 months ago on Google
Beautiful beach. Visited during a weekday. There were 2-3 vendors near the entrance and only a few people at the beach. Swimming is risky as the sea is very rough

Very clean and neat beach.. Best place for spending time with kids.. Evening sun set view is awesome. Food stall, juice icecream shops, and toilet facilities are available.. One Security guard is there.. Swimming is not allowed.. Initially they did not charge parking fee but now they charge parking fee..

  • 5/5 Vignesh S. 1 year ago on Google
Clean beach and the water color is blue it gives good relaxation. Sure kids will enjoy it. Only issue is the road to reach the beach is narrow. Parking is enormous. Even in weekend with more people the beach looks less crowded due to its vast area.

  • 5/5 Arun V. 7 months ago on Google
Well maintained. Family friendly. Kids friendly. Nice sunset view. Will be crowded on weekends. Best time to visit is between 4:30 to 6:30.

Not maintained well. Plenty of garbage was seen in the beach. Main entrance gate itself was kept under lock. Toilets were locked. Few pushing cart vendors were selling fresh food at inflated price

Good place to hang out on weekends with friends and family. But the real issue lies in poor parking space. Narrow roads leading to the serene beach is really challenging if we plan to go by 4 wheeler. 1 way road access sud be considered by authorities

Very nice beach... Lovely to watch with just time pass on the shore and bare minimum feet touching the waves - max say 6 inch or so (just till foot ankle). The sea waves are quite ferocious and the shore slope is suddenly increasing depth. Understood ~5 lives are lost in the last 3 months; drowned and pulled into the return sea tide. Extremely danger if one ventures to take bath.

This beach is a wow factor for photo shoot, because of its scenic nature beauty. Those who wish to play in the sea can avoid this beach. Coast guards won't even allow us to go near the waves. We just have to watch the waves. That's it😂. Ideal time to visit is at evening.

  • 4/5 Muthu Perumal Pillai S. 1 year ago on Google
Good beach for kids and elders. Clean, good parking facilities. Normally will be able to see very less number of people wandering here and there. Can have a good walk in beach if there is no restrictions. You will be charged rs. 30 for four wheeler. Only weekends and public holidays. we can see some crowd. Not safe in normal days, though things are changing, getting popular in public. It would have been better if playing items like swing, sliding etc., are there.

  • 5/5 Noor S. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful beach but to be careful as it's open beach and does not have dedicated bath area or stones covered areas. Kids play area - trampoline. food / snacks area available (biscuits, vada, bajji, kadala, tea, juice, ice cream)

  • 1/5 Maruthees R. 2 years ago on Google
People come to beach to wet their feet atleast for 5 minutes, in the name of policing people are not even allowed to step near water. No proper parking barricades and no Play area for kids. The beach which was once very good has became worst now.

This ⛱ beach is just a regular normal beach , nothing much special here , us rumors are spreaded. Spending time by evening will be good, around 5pm to 6pm . 🌞 sun set view is not good here as per the locals suggestion . Trampoline is available for kids . Few chat shops and icream shop ,cotton candies are available inside . Aware of parking area 🚗 ,they charges 50rs per car . And please ask receipt , if they didnt give receipts .just give 10 or 20 rs only

Perfect spot for a perfect beach day. Made sand castles, dug a hole, made mermaid, played on the shore, watched sunset, had icecream and took great pics. It is crowded on weekends. It's a long beach with pine tress and stone benches. So tidy and kids have their entertainment unit and snacks. Restroom and water service are also available. Great photo spot.

A small beach but a perfect beach for evening out and chat. Parking and all paid. Good place for pre wedding shoots and family meets. Clean and Secured area. Must visit.

  • 4/5 Basheer A. 2 years ago on Google
The beach is good of you want some peace and quiet. The shoreline was long and beautiful and was lined with coconut trees. Bathing is prohibited due to the sudden depth and roughness of the sea. Otherwise snacks shops and well maintained toilets are available. When I heard about lemur, went with some expectations. But got disappointments only. It’s an ordinary beach like other beaches around nagercoil. I will recommend to visit here for spending peaceful time with family and friends.

  • 5/5 Uzair S. 1 year ago on Google
An offbeat location where you can really enjoy the calm and quiet. Clean and clear blue tide is eye soothing to watch. Best for outdoor/beach photoshoot. May get crowded on weekends.

  • 5/5 Nithis K. 1 year ago on Google
Best maintained beach to spend time with friends and family! The trees surrounding the beach look attractive. There are also shops near the beach to purchase snacks and icecreams. Best place for wedding photography! Parking Space is available near the beach

  • 5/5 Prem S. 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful, clean beach. Lots of sandy area where the kids can run around and play. Waves were a bit strong when I visited at 6pm. But as the beach is large you can stay far enough away from the full force of the waves. There are food, juice, ice cream stalls and toilets for ladies and gents. Ample parking space is also available, ₹30 parking fees.
