Visited here along with my family one week back. 👍 Ambience is great. The Restaurant is situated near the riverside and you can see small ships and boats sailing nearby. A slight drizzling rain added flavours to the ambience. Spent some quality time with family. Lots of lush green areas, photogenic areas are inside the premises where you can shoot some excellent portraits.. 👍❤ Coming to the negatives - Although the restaurant was only half occupied, it took 15 minutes for us to finally draw the attention of a waiter towards us. That was not much of an issue for us, as we were already occupied in watching the riverside views. But i'ts really annoying and the management must take an initiative for improving the customer service. The waiting time for food and mojitos is too high. Nearly 45 minutes and thats completely ruining the mood. Again we waited for another 10-15 minutes to get the bill.. donno why there was such a delay even for a bill.. 🤣 Food was good but not that great either. A bit expensive too.. Infact we were a bit disappointed with the food.☹️ The manager of the antique shop at the entrance was very rude and while entering the premise, the first thing she told us is that photography is not allowed. We were actually visiting the restaurant not the antique shop. There was no need for her to talk to us like that. We felt a little odd.. 🙄 If you want some excellent pics then do visit this place. Dont expect much other than that. Iam giving 3 stars only because of the ambience it offers. Disappointed regarding the food and service. Hope they will look into the issues and improve in near future. Would like to visit here again if they improves.. 👍

Good food and great ambience. Antique design. You could enjoy the riverside view while having food. Coming to the food, taste is good but not exceptional and overpriced too for the quantity served. But most attractive part is the ambience. Which is worth the price spending for the food.

The riverside view, the vibes and the ambience are great. Although, my experience here was pretty disappointing. I had to order twice as they missed my first order. The prices are on the expensive side, not an issue but the service and the quantity of the food should justify the same and that's not the case here. I had to wait for nearly an hour just to get a drink let alone the food. The food was good nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, disappointed.

After a long tiring walk up and down around Mattanacherry, we decided to go here to stretch out our legs and have some simple refreshments. The place has a nice ambience like all the stuff there, from the tables to pillars to pretty much everything in there are antique and apparently according to a waiter, you can just buy them if you like them. Like you can actually buy the stone pillar it seems. That's how this restaurant is. The tables, the chairs, the dolls, the pillars.... You can just sit here, sip beer, juice or coffee and enjoy the breeze! Food is actually expensive here. Service needs a lot of improvement! Otherwise, the place is really nice!!

Am puzzled by the ratings. This place deserves 5. For the art afficionado, this is the perfect place to dine while enjoying the ambience. The riverfront, amazing collection of eclectic antiques, good service attitude (yes i read the reviews but my experience was good. Mithun served us & the staff was friendly). The place is a paradise for Shutterbugs. What started as a casual tour of Jew street turned out to be an afternoon sipping drinks and soaking in the Fort Kochi waterfont breeze. Definitely, a not to be missed place. Don't compare it as a normal restuarant by food ratings. In my opinion, its a place where art meets food for a heady discussion.

Great Place, great location. Best for couples as well as large groups. Prices are on the higher side. Parking has to be done in a general parking area and you need to walk through Jew town to access the place.

Went there with husband and my family today. The ambience was really cozy, food was affordable & delicious and the staffs were so helpful while choosing menu. Especially, Vinu was really warm & accommodating. He guided us so much and my husband who is Korean really loved it so much he is up for a second trip. If you are searching for one of the best places THIS IS IT. GO N ENJOY 😉

The + point of the place is only, ONLY the aesthetics. Nothing else. 1 star for this. FOOD: Food is severely mediocre and extremely overpriced. It offers nothing special. The amount of food being served is so less - tiniest proportions for the price being paid. Everything looks like something you can get at a regular home in kerala. If you are on vacation here, you can get the same, if not better tasting food in a normal hotel for ⅓ the price. We had to find another cafe since we were hungry despite paying over 600 per head. SERVICE: It took 1 hour and us asking them a couple of times to even serve water or give us napkins. Serving times are really long, the waiter said it's because they don't make anything before hand. Don't know. The only thing that came faster was the bill. MUSEUM STAFF: They charge you 20-30 rupees if you want to take pictures around the place. 🤣. They are kind of not welcoming and are on your tails to charge you for everything. They are rude.

A very nice hotel with lot of antic decorations and an amazing view of the water body. Seating is right next to the kayal area and was very comfortable. Food was also very nice and there is some lawn space outside the hotel which is nice for taking pictures.

A great ambience completely ruined by the staff. Waiters were really great but the manager of the antique shop or whoever he was was just plain rude and totally ruined the good mood. If you want people to come by , create an atmosphere that welcomes them

Great Experiance. Ambiance and taste of food which they are serving is mind blowing. Prices are little bit high. But they are keeping high quality services to us. Staffs are very friendly and we are getting fast service. We can see Kerala’s culture in their entrance.

OMG if you want to feel like a Shah stay here. The rooms are awesome full of antiques but yet fitted with state of the art amenities. I have been coming to Cochin for 20 years and never have I experienced a hotel like this. Nestled in the middle of a great shopping precinct. So I can certainly recommend

Great place to get a meal in Jew Town. The walk past all the cool antiques was fun and the waterside tables make for an atmospheric way to end a day of sightseeing in Fort Cochin. Good cold beer as well.

The entrance The ambience of this restaurant is awesome, artistically the best. We felt like WOW... Suspended by only Antiques and fantastic statues. We just wish it gets complemented by their food. Firstly is a pure Non-Veg restaurant, people who love sea food might liked food. As we were vegetarians we had to settle with juices and tea. The orange juice was terrific but the ginger tea was at the same time... What should i say... I would prefer what i prepare at home. The line soda was the shocking experience. The waiter placed an empty jar with a mild cold soda and sugar syrup. Upon along him to please change the soda we got reply this is what we are having right now. As we were to get refreshed we went with the items but to aish utter shock couldn't gulp what he prepared. The another hurricane of shock was when we couldn't is their washrooms.... Particularly 3 of them as ask were flooded with paper and were not flushed.

I think this is one of the iconic restaurants in fort kochi. Located near to the water way. The restaurant is at the end of walkway which is little inside from the main road. Both sides of the walkway are filled with various outlets of crafters and other decorative. The seats of this restaurant is little congested so the privacy point of view it is not at the best. The view from the restaurant towards the water way is fantastic. At the end of walkway there is a garden with small seats so children can spend some play. Food items are average and cost of items are little high, but it is ok with view standard from the restaurant.

Good place flrgroups to hangout for brunch, lunch and dinner. Somany Antique structures are beautifully layed inside and arranged for sales and show pieces.

The ambience is everything. Make it a point to speak with the staff about the history of the place. This is a hotel/restaurant that has a heritage listing, and the history behind the place is fascinating. The food is alright. The service is adequate. On the whole the ambience is the best part of the experience.

We ordered fresh lime soda (very sweet), butter paneer (very very tasty, large amount of paneer cubes which is rare) it came with rice (ok), chapati and appam that were average. Tossed salad was ok but too expensive for vegetable cubes with masala. View and space are beautiful.

Very poor service. Me along with wife and 7 month old baby had a bad experience here. We were seated at a table but no one approached us to take orders for almost an hour. Finally when a guy turned up after what seemed like eternity, I thanked him for the view and left without having any food.

The staff there forget they are just the staff and not the guests! Their chef probably failed cooking class, things taste painfully bland, and the staff probably failed etiquette class, they don't know basic manners. Their behaviour reminds of a fish market than a professional hotel or restaurant. You have to try hard not to laugh when they try to give you attitude.
