The Nalpamara Kappalkunnu is a ship-shaped garden part of environmental initiative of TREE- MVIP ( as People's Botanic Gardens). This place has few gardens with many trees and plants, few benches and plenty of fresh air. Such an environmental friendly initiative should be encouraged 👏🏽 It is located in Pandapilly near the MVIP main canal close to the upcoming Jacob's Convention Center.

A park with the look of a ship with various plants and trees arranged.There is a forest like area with lot of trees with climbing plants on them. This will give a feeling that we are in the jungle. well maintained to keep its originality. Nearby, we can see the canal is entering a half kilometer long tunnel.Dangerous to enter into tunnel. The ship deck is like a small ground where flowering plants are grown and a walk through there is a relaxing experience.

Near nalpamara kappalkunnu there we can see a 750 metres long tunnel canal...

Its a good place to visit. Quiet beautiful place.

It's pure Kerala. Don't be too expectant that this is a 5 star resort material. But appreciate the effort put in, appreciate the fauna and the flora. Next to it the Jacob's have their aesthetically fashioned hall which just blends into the surrounds. Do be patient. The road from the mains will soon be better and lined by the already properly planted trees. If you are coming to visit this place, don't expect tea shops and snack stalls. Welcome to bring your snacks. Penty of places to sit back and picnic. PLEASE PLEASE NO BOOZE. BRING YOUR OWN WASTE BAG AND TAKE YOUR TRASH ALONG WHEN YOU GO BACK.
