Who
would
not
love
to
travel,
see
new
places,
experience
new
things?
I
know
a
couple
of
them
-
my
husband
and
then
my
good
friend
Nims.
I
just
can't
understand
them.
When
others
talk
about
their
trip
experiences,
I
listen
,
all
forlorn.
When
my
colleague
,Sini
spoke
about
the
trip
to
North
Kerala
to
experience
Theyyam
and
extended
an
invite,
I
just
piled
on.
Along
the
way,
I
came
to
know
that
Tyndis
Heritage
Tours
had
also
contributed
to
our
travel
plan.
And
that
added
a
lot
of
value
to
my
travel
experience.
Other
than
doing
the
usual
touristy
stuff,
visiting
places,
and
other
things
normally
mentioned
in
websites,
I
cherish
feeling
the
real
pulse
of
the
place.
So
I
love
going
to
the
local
market
place
and
take
in
all
the
smells
and
the
noise.
I
love
tasting
the
food
that
locals
eat.
And
I
have
always
longed
to
go
to
a
local
home
-
nothing
can
get
as
intimate
as
that.
And
this
is
what
Tyndis
contributed.
While
taking
a
stroll
down
the
'boulevards'
of
Mahe,
Navin
pointed
out
to
an
old
mansion
and
asked
whether
we
would
like
to
step
in
and
meet
the
occupant.
The
half
an
hour
we
spent
with
Sunny
(the
occupant)
gave
me
so
much
of
insights
into
these
people's
lives.
Though
Mahe
is
an
Union
territory
in
Kerala,
their
history
have
impacted
much
of
their
lives.
Of
course
I
did
get
to
eat
what
the
locals
eat
in
wayside
eateries.
Tyndis
,
that
was
amazing!
