Lots Of restaurants in strip Mall area, Even a movie theater. There is a laundry room and they Have Change at Desk and sell laundry detergent. This hotel is #1 on my short list! Ambassador member. 150 nights per year. Front desk needs soft skills training. My room was moist. Musky. My view was of a dirty roof. My bed appeared slept in and the ac is bad. Better places to stay in this area.

Stay was excellent. I also want to voice my feedback during my check in at Marriott Dulles Suites. This is in response to the review right under mine (if you sort by most recent). This Irate person was playing the "Race Game" to get stuff for free. Guess this is what America is all about. Most of the Front Desk Clerks are diverse and the Manger who was herself black, I saw her dealing very patiently with this guy who was claiming to have his luggage "stolen". He mentioned to the Manager in front of the cops that he does not want free stuff but as soon as the cops left; his greed accellerated to the next level asking for more freebies. I have money to travel, don't blame it on the people or the hotel to get cheap. These people (employees) come out from the same neighborhood and community (it's a job). Do not give them hard time!

Nice and spacious rooms. Gym is well-equipped and even has a basket of apples. Laundry room was closed due to broken washing machine. Restaurants and movie theater just a few steps away. Breakfast is above average and service was great.

This is my favorite place to stay when I visit Reston. Rooms are clean and cozy. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance that have amazing food selections.

Had an excellent experience here! Francesca at the front desk was courteous, professional, and answered all of my questions. The room was incredibly comfortable, clean, in good condition, and well-appointed, as well as being appropriately plush but not overdoing it. Shuttle service was a big help as well for getting to/from IAD. Thank you Marriott!

My family stayed here as part of our sons hockey tournament and had a pleasant experience. Conveniently located for us to travel to all area rinks quickly. Hotel facilities were clean and welcoming, rooms were spacious and stocked with the basics needed. Staff was friendly during all encounters. The toilet in my room ended up having a clog and backed up onto the floor and maintenance and housekeeping came to quickly rectify the issues and clean/disinfect the bathroom for us. Would recommend this hotel to others in the future!

Great location if you’re staying in Herndon. It’s a bit dated, but it’s well kept and the AC in the rooms is cold. These are suite rooms so you get a bit more space than a standard room including a couch, table, bar area. Walking distance to lots of places to eat if you’re staying for a while

This a great hotel. It’s a little dated but kept up very nicely. It has a good breakfast, the gym is well equipped and the rooms are all large. I only wish the pool was repaired and open!

I enjoyed my stay. The front desk staff was friendly and we were able to check in early. I needed an extra blanket and it was promptly delivered. The breakfast buffet was great. Although promptly at 11am it shut down.and could not get a cup of coffee.

A spacious, comfortable hotel near the airport. The hotel staff and airport shuttle drivers were exceptionally friendly. There is no concierge lounge, but the breakfast I was given as a titanium was substantial and very good. The decor seems slightly dated, but the room was exceptionally clean. I would gladly return, especially if the price is the same.

Nobody behind the front desk when I arrived at 7:30pm. Slow elevators. Room fairly spacious and comfy. Very hot water in the shower with great water pressure. Shuttle service to airport quick and on time. Tons of restaurants adjacent to hotel.

This hotel looks clean but it is not. The AC is dirty, just look up on the breakfast area, it has black mould on the vents. They got two of my shirts stained on the laundry service and I got no compensation for that. The laundry service also ironed my clothes with excessive hear causing permanent marks on them. I tried using the self service laundry available on 3rd floor but it requires coins that the front desk won't give you and charge to your room (hence I was unable to use). They have no issue in charging you at the room for the soap and softener though. I found a bedbug in my bed and have been having allergy spots throughout my body from bites. Stayed almost two weeks. Breakfast is good, has what you need. Pool is not available, gym is ok but smells bad most of the time.

Discriminatory shuttle service. Don't expect to be treated fairly. e: added one star because the manager equivalent did in good faith try to make it better. Not right or just but at least a little effort. Can't say the same on their disability know-how. 0 understanding why it is important to be able to get electrical information from the front desk on plugging in medical equipment!!!

Nice, clean facility!! Wonderful layout to the rooms and very comfortable! Dinner at the bar was outstanding! Enjoyed the house salad, club sandwich, and apple pie!

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and realized after night 1 that the HVAC was broken and I had to sleep in 58F temperature. The following morning, I promptly reported the issue to the front desk and requested the issue to be fixed before I returned that evening. On my return in the evening, I stopped by the front desk and checked on my request, and they had no idea about my issue nor did they find any notes about it in their systems and they assured me that it would have been fixed by the day staff. I took their word for it, which was a huge mistake. The 2nd night, the temperature was 58F in the room and the HVAC was broken. The following morning (day 3) I was really upset and complained to the front desk about the ongoing issue and they seemed to care less, but I insisted that they fix the issue or give me a different room. The same evening, when I checked with the front desk, I got the same reply- they were not sure if the issue was fixed during the day or not, but they did send a technician to look at the HVAC. The technician assured me that the issue was fixed and the system should maintain normal temperature. To my surprise again, I had to wake up in the middle of the night sweating completely as the temperature in the room was 90F. I was miffed, frustrated, and didn't sleep for 3 nights. The following morning on my way checking out, I stopped by at the front desk again to report the issue and how upset I was, but the lady at the front desk was so indifferent and didn't seem to care. Never have I experienced such behavior from hotel staff where they didn't bother to address a guests concern.

Room was pretty good. Hot water was shut off briefly. Gym smelled AWFUL, like a sewage pipe burst. Location is rough if you don't have a car. Gonna have to rely on Uber.

Haven’t even had the chance to stay here yet but since the woman on the phone shouted at me for ten minutes, I’m already dreading my stay. Don’t bother having someone else book the room for you, my dad tried to help us out but when I called to update the names on the reservation, I was accused of trying to commit fraud and asked to jump through unnecessary hoops. All she had to do was tell me to bring the card when I checked in. If you want to be accused of crimes and yelled at on the phone, knock yourself out. That experience alone has ruined anything positive that could come out of this stay. Since I’m going to be coming in from a 12 hr flight, I’m going to have the least amount of interaction with these people as possible. Stay anywhere else.

Attended a Wedding and stayed one night. Very comfortable rooms. Our television in our bedroom did not work. However management was very accommodating without too much hassle. The reception rooms were large and the hosting staff were extremely nice. Our meal at the reception was delicious! Had a great 🌙!

The rooms and hotel itself is solid. Average hotel. The service isn’t great as they always seem to be understaffed if they have a big capacity. Breakfast for us was comped with the group, but I wouldn’t pay the $$ for it if you have to. For a free breakfast, it wasn’t bad at all.

Not our favorite Marriot location, and we stay with Marriot a lot. These rooms do not have kitchenettes, we got a tiny fridge, tiny sink, and tiny microwave. Thermostat didn't work right, so it was stuffy or freezing in our room. Pull out is not a queen, maybe a full size. Location is convenient to airport but not to metro (it will be if they EVER open the silver line). No shuttle to metro, only to airport. Location is good for walkable restaurants and movies. Free parking is nice, the closer to DC you are the higher that is. Breakfast was tasty and the service was wonderful (ours was free with our Marriot status). Internet is lacking. Room was quiet and I appreciate that.

I have been staying at this Marriott for years. Customer service is always A one and everyone is nice, helpful to whatever needs and pleasant. I would have given 5 stars but the ice machine did not work on our floor or the 6th floor. I did inform the front desk when checking out which she wrote down and said she would let maintenance know to fix the problem. I will be back again more than likely in November.

Great location near the airport with a lot of delicious food options nearby. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It’s a huge bummer that the pool is no longer used. The fitness center was nice and the guest laundry was convenient.

Exceptional experience. We were here for a conference and found the rooms to be really nice. Having a suite makes a big difference. The service staff was top drawer and the food remarkable. We stay in Marriotts all over the world and cannot say enough good things about this property.

This hotel was exceptional for our room block and rehearsal dinner for our wedding. - Logistics: It has a continuous shuttle to/from the airport every 30 minutes that reliably transported 40 guests. It was the furthest north-east Marriott we could find that had a continuous shuttle instead of an on-call shuttle. - Suites: Many of our guests told us after how much they loved their suites. They were large but also reasonably priced. - Event support: The space and service for our rehearsal dinner were great, and the hospitality suite conference room accommodated preparation for 9 bridal party members with 4 hair and makeup artists. - Staff: The staff, especially Phillip, went above and beyond to accommodate our preferences, concerns, and last minute changes.

It seems many Marriott Hotels are going down hill and this is one of them. Only one bar of soap in the suite No towel holders in the bathroom Only two towels in the room We were told breakfast was complementary, but it was not

BLUF: Average 3 star hotel for the NoVA region. Rooms are adequate, fake hardwood floors, small fridge, clean for the most part. You can see in the photos I'm including that it could use some updating - cracks, peeling, caulk falling off, scuffs on floorboards, etc. The rooms are not very well sound insulated - expect a notable amount of road noise with all the busy highways nearby and the occupants in the room next door and people in the hallways. I could also see light shining into the room from the hallway because there was a gap between the door and the wall. You'll also notice in the pictures some brown crude left in the toilet bowl and brown stain on one of the folded "clean" towels - not what you want to come into after a 12 hour day of traveling. Staff was friendly, but also put me in the room right next to the elevator, despite me asking for a quiet location when making the original reservation days before, so I could clearly hear the door whining open/shut - at first thought I was a baby getting upset. Other standard 3 star things - you'll get charged extra for breakfast, extra for internet, extra extra for decent internet, onsite parking is extra, etc. I would have made this a 3/5, but the fitness center is the best I've seen in a hotel. Free weights, many machines, 2xPelatons, exercise balls, tvs, treadmills, and a LOT of space, unlike the closets with 3 machines crammed in them that most hotels have.

Always a pleasant experience. Clean hotel. Friday's restaurant attached for that late night snack. Plus other shopping and restaurants close by. In the Dulles are on business? Then this is a good place to stay.

Nice big rooms, modern enough. It's nice to always have a suite. Microwave, fridge, etc. Very easy to park and find the hotel from the street. Nice people up front too.

I'd never even heard of Marriott Suites. But I'm a fan after just one stay. The suite was small, but but had a nicely different layout. Bed was comfortable, lobby was nice, and breakfast was great. Staff was very courteous and pleasant. Value was amazing! I'll be back.

The location was great. There is whatever you need pretty much within the shopping center so you don't even need to walk anywhere. Plenty of parking. Joy at the front desk was an absolute delight. She was so friendly and helpful the entire time that I would go back to stay there just because of her. Great customer service is hard to come by nowadays and she is the best!

While this hotel is the nice one in the area you can tell it is in dire need of updates. From a leaking roof to the fitness center it’s a old hotel. The breakfast which is $20 is robbery as it’s subpar food. In fact I believe free hotel breakfast at places like the holiday inn top the breakfast here. Dinner is priced fine and tastes good. The servers during breakfast are very nice. The gym is in dire need of updates and a working AC system. It gets so incredibly hot and humid in there and adjusting the thermostat doesn’t seem to change anything. Pool was closed , not sure if this is for good or not. I seem to never be able to get anyone to bring towels. I called three times one day, 30+ min apart and no one ever came up. Likewise for wipes in the gym. Have to always go grab them your self. Parking is free and easy. The room is large and nice though showing it’s age with the TVs.
