Our
son
has
been
a
student
with
Kaizen
MMA
Ashburn
for
a
little
over
2.5
years
now.
Our
family
has
nothing
but
wonderful
comments
about
the
dojo
and
the
instructors.
We
were
looking
for
a
safe
environment
for
our
son
to
learn
self-control,
patience,
self-defense,
and
respect.
After
joining
and
spending
(much)
time
at
the
dojo,
we’ve
found
so
much
more.
Our
son
was
diagnosed
with
ADHD
shortly
after
joining
Kaizen.
At
first,
we
were
a
bit
nervous
he
wouldn’t
have
the
focus
to
learn,
possibly
losing
confidence
and
giving
up.
We’ve
experienced
quite
the
opposite.
Given
Sensei
Vlado’s
vast
experience
with
children
of
all
ages
and
personalities,
our
son
has
learned
so
much,
he
has
grown
significantly
and
has
nothing
but
respect
for
his
teachers.
This
dojo
can
feel
like
a
home
away
from
home
for
the
kids
and
the
parents.
We
often
watch
the
classes
with
our
younger
daughters
or
join
the
“parents'
night
out”
and
camps
events.
The
kids
make
friends
(of
all
ages),
are
in
a
safe
environment
and
get
to
wrestle
and
act
silly
without
getting
reprimanded
when
on
break
or
enjoying
play
time.
The
teachers
(Sensei
Vlado,
Sempai
John,
and
Sempai
Oleg)
have
great
relationships
with
the
kids
in
different
ways.
Sensei
Vlado
is
strict,
a
disciplinarian,
but
is
very
kind
and
fair.
He
is
loved
by
all
the
kids.
Even
by
our
younger
daughter’s,
who
never
hesitate
to
run
up
to
“Sensei”
for
a
shoulder
ride
while
he
instructs
or
want
to
show
off
their
“kicks”
after
watching
a
class.
Sempai
John
and
Oleg
are
great
instructors.
They
are
respected
by
the
students
but
also
act
as
big
brothers
in
a
way.
One
of
my
favorite
things
to
witness
after
class
is
how
the
kids
go
from
respect
and
attentiveness
during
class,
to
jumping
on
their
coaches
in
a
dog
pile
without
hesitation
once
they
are
dismissed.
If
you’re
considering
an
MMA
dojo
for
your
kids,
definitely
give
this
one
a
try!
