Cool park. As of March 2022 there are cool hanging statues that look like they don’t obey gravity. I think it needs a bit of cleaning and maintenance though.

This was a beautiful park nestled into the historic neighborhood. Lots of animals raising little ones and are a lot of fun to watch in the spring and early summer. Walking paths aged but it’s worth it seeing that you’re around huge trees

Small, clean, and historic park paying homage to heroes from the 19th century. Family oriented, and our four-legged friends are welcome also. Nice landscaping, home to The Ohio State Champion Tree, suspended sculptures, a few fountains, and maze-like pathways . On occasion, an event may take place at this park. At the main fountain, the geese may want to say hello. Beautiful sceneries. Nice and friendly patrons. Parking available in and throughout the park.

We enjoyed our trip to the park. However, it was less enjoyable because of the family that was there that thought everyone should leave the park so they could take photos with no one in the background.

Probably one of Columbus's most popular parks. Schiller is German Village's park. It really does have something for everyone. It has a recreation center, basketball court, baseball diamond, playground equipment, sledding hill, paved walking trails, a pond to fish in, tennis courts, an outdoor stage for Shakespeare in the Park, Schiller Statue, and beautiful landscaping, flowers and a fountain with "Umbrella Girl" in the middle. You also are surrounded by historic homes that are amazing.

This park has plenty parking. It's pretty easy to get to. Is walkable great place to come to have lunch or snack while you stroll? It has a nice garden in the spring and summer. The pond has been upgraded so even if you fish you can come here and do that as well. They also have Shakespeare in the park at the amphitheater and different plays as well in this free.

This is such a lovely park! It was our first time and we really enjoyed ourselves. The park is large enough for the outdoor theatre performance that we attended and for others to not be disturbed. The large, vast trees and the sounds of nature at night were serene, as well as being nestled in a quaint neighborhood. It was the perfect backdrop for the performance last night!

This is a beautiful park to take your children and play at the playground, watch the ducks and geese laying around and swimming in the pond, you can fish here also! Just don't feed the geese because they will not leave you alone lol.. Very nice, quiet and peaceful park!!

“All the worlds a stage” we enjoyed our visit here, first time back an almost a year. I have been waiting for Shakespeare in the park, and it will be lots of fun to come out and see the show. The walk around was fun too. I forgot all about the arial statues through out the park- we had fun looking for them as we walked our dog.

Beautiful Park. Went with my boyfriend. We planned a picnic and looking over a place for my grandson to fish. A writer watched us....and took our picture...the love between us. Beautiful day 💕

Awesome clean huge playground , bring bread or treats 2 feed the ducks, nice pond and bridge to cross my grandkids had a ball, ages 11, 8 and 5 ‼️ we spent almost 3 hours there they didn't want to leave ‼️ The only downside was NO restroom Anywhere ‼️‼️👎🏻We had to leave the park and go to a gas ⛽ station and then return again‼️ That was frustrating with 3 young kids ‼️

My only complaint about Schiller Park is they don't have any public bathrooms. Great place to play Pokemon Go and people watch, or walk your dog. I love to play PoGo and then walk over to Schmidt then walk back and play some more.

Nice park! Which they had swings that the parents could get on with their babies, Wish there was more picnic table areas and there was a lot of trash that was left around.

Nice park with lots of open space to roam. Good playground equipment for all ages. Basketball and tennis courts. Small pond with ducks and geese. This is a favorite park for dog owners to let their well behaved dogs off the leash - so caution if you have a fear of dogs, but we’ve never had an issue. Great place for Pokémon Go with lots of stops and gyms. Typically busy so bring a mask.

Lots of green space to relax. Parking available directly onsite for close access to the playground, stage, pond, and tennis courts. A great park for a multi generation get together. Trail has sun and shade, places to relax in sun and shade as well. Good people and duck watching.

A beautiful, expansive park with stuff for everyone - including families! A playground, tennis courts, statues, and sidewalks around the entire park invite you to take some time, get outside, and enjoy yourself. It would have received 5 stars from me, but it seems that the park isn't maintained as much as it needs to be. Every trash can was piled high with trash and in desperate need of being empied.

My favorite park in Columbus so far! It has a playground for kids, wide walkways all around that you can bike on, basketball and tennis courts, pond with ducks and geese, lots of sculptures and just overall a great place to be. Can't wait to come back in spring and summer!

Great park! Stopped on our way through on a road trip and it was a great spot for our kiddo to burn off some steam. There’s a playground suitable for toddlers on up. Set in a nice historic neighborhood. You can use the bathrooms in the rec center and they’re clean.

Gorgeous city park. Excellent landscaping and art. One drawback - lots of folks with dogs that hunt squirrels.

  • 5/5 Matt L. 9 months ago on Google
We went to see the Actor's Theatre perform in the park. There are two sections split for seating, the front for sitting on the ground or blankets, and the back section if you want to bring a lawn chair. The shows are free but they will gladly take donations to support the theatre. If you want the best seats in the house, you can purchase pre-set chairs or reserved blanket space. The show was very good; we saw Sense and Sensibility. The actors had great energy and were very fun and entertaining.

I enjoy visiting the park. The park has a recreation center along with outside play equipment. The park also has a handful of tables in the north-east corner. I have enjoyed local coffee and food at those table amongst the tranquility of Schiller Park.

Schiller Park is an excellent park in the city! We were there for an Actors Theatre production, which is always a fun way to spend a summer evening. Lots of mature trees, pretty flowers, and dogs everywhere! Get a brown bag sandwich and eat it in the park!

Plenty of space to walk around with a city vibe. Areas of open space for physical activities. Also tons of dogs if thats your interest, but everyone is good about picking up after them.

Great little park. It was full of people and dogs all out for walks. The dogs were all generally nice and friendly. Great place to walk your dog. Nice playground and tennis courts. All around awesome park to meet people at and just get outside in the midst of the city.

Cool place for walking around. I suggest going there on a nice day and reading a book. They have ponds, tennis courts, other stuff. I went today and there was a wedding. People were playing pickle ball on the tennis courts. There were a lot of unleashed dogs. No bathroom. After a stroll through the park I went to roosters and got some chicken wings. It’s about a 1 minute walk.

Very lovely city park! We bought pastries at Pistacia Vera German Village, then walked about 5 mins to the park, ate the sweet treats and then walked around the park. Many big trees, lots of shades, plenty benches and tables for picnic or a good book.

Suspended art figures, a fountain, geese and community theater makes Schiller Park an adorable greenspace to visit and be among locals in German Village. Basketball courts, tennis courts and a playground for the little ones are also features.
