I would love to try this place but every time I go they are closed, even though Google and their website say they are open. Also, their website and Google show a coca-cola machine, but the machine is for Pepsi. I’m here at 7:16 on a Monday night and they are closed with the lights off and no sign in the window. The pizza looks tasty on their website but how am I supposed to trust that that’s actually what their pizza looks like if the rest of their website/Google is wrong? Edit: to the owner, thank you for your response. I appreciate that there is absolutely a shortage of staff right now but if you just put a sign on the door and made your hours clearer on Google maps (as well as not saying “OPEN NOW” in big letters on your site) then I think everyone would understand. I am looking forward to trying your restaurant when I can and will update my rating accordingly at that time.

Visiting from Norwalk for an event and a birthday. We did a Google search and this place seemed to have the best looking pizza and wings. We hoped it tasted well and placed the order! The 5 of us were amazed by the flavors of the pizza and wings; the pizza was beautifully made just like the photos online. Put the order in for pickup and it was done at the time they said it would be!

Really good pizza 🍕 😋 It's hard to find really good pizza. The crust, just enough crunch and every kind of ingredients to choose from or have some of their signature pies. Seating is limited and my only complaint was getting my mother-in-law with her electric wheelchair ♿️ in would have been hard if alot more people were dining. And not alot of spaces for wheelchair. Other than that. Clean restaurant and friendly staff

Excellent pizza, closer to traditional style than Ohio/Midwest style even though the pizzas are square cut. It's basically a nice Ohio/Traditional hybrid. Brenz offers a variety of unique pizzas and a ton of different toppings. Stopped in on 02/22 and ordered a 12" Spinach Artichoke, a 16" Rustic, Bread sticks with Cheese, 5 bone in mild wings, and a Meatball sub. All of that was $64 so it was a little pricey, but after trying a bit of everything I can definitely say it was worth it. Their ingredients are quite fresh and they stack the pizza with toppings. Bread sticks made using dough from scratch and topped with golden crisped cheese, the sub was on a homemade bun with homemade meatballs, and they also make their own ranch - which is pretty good but not as good as Tommy's or Hounddogs' ranch. Overall it's a terrific alternative to the abundance of Ohio/Midwest style pizzas in Columbus. Personally I'd give a Brenz a 4.8 overall, with the price being the only drawback. Since Google doesn't allow decimal reviews I rounded up to a 5.

Heritage Honey pizza is one of the best pizza’s I’ve ever had. The crust is perfect - soft, yet chewy. Great sauce, great toppings and cooked perfectly. I can’t wait to try more!

My work has ordered this for lunch two weeks in a row. It’s different in a good way! Fresh delicious toppings with a great crust. Not too thick not too thin. The pizza box is aesthetically pleasing as well

I tried out Brenz for the first time through Uber Eats. First of all, I appreciate them being on the apps as well as having online ordering, looking at you Hounddog's. I wish I had tried it sooner because they have a lot of things I appreciate. I love the highly customizable menu and offering all the sauces for build-your-own. I also really appreciate that they make the ranch and actually have a decent ramekin size for dipping and don't skimp. My order was perfect, well packaged, and arrived hot. This is not my favorite crust style, I like a little thinner, but I will order again because the taste is great, fresh, high quality, crunchy, and all the other reasons stated above.

Amazing Service, delicious pizza! They were closed from 3:00-4:15 to fulfill a huge order for the Ohio State Football team. They had a sign on the door outlining the special event (that I didn’t read or pay attention to). They had a small army working on this huge order and at about 4:00 when we walked in let us know what was going on. They could have turned us away and no one would have blamed them, as it was my fault I walked in without reading the sign they thoughtfully posted. However, the manager was super kind and fit our order in for a 12” Heritage Honey pizza. The pizza came out super fast and was delicious. We ate in and had a great experience with the staff that helped us. In the modern day where customer service is tough to find this place exceeded all expectations. Don’t settle for average pizza or service. Order from Brenz!!!!

Brenz pizza !! Okay if you haven't tried it yet, you should. Admittedly I love pizza! I have plenty of places to choose from close by, but I am happy to drive my butt across town to get Brenz. The Heritage honey is my current favorite pizza. I've tried the BBQ chicken, the Buffalo chicken and the classic (stole a piece from my friends though bc , i like the heritage honey too much to order anything else.) The owner is the nicest person and if there is any issue at all he will make sure to fix it. He literally went above and beyond for me when his phone system was down …and it being down wasn't even his fault or in his control. He is the nicest guy. Please give this place a try! You won’t regret it!

Looking for lunch today and found this wonderful pizza place. Lord I wished I found it sooner. Thank you to the wonderful staff who helped us/ my husband pick out what toppings to do. Crust is crazy tender, sauce is great. We will be back. Thank you guys!!!

This place definitely lived up to the hype today. We ordered a pepperoni and a rustic pizza at the counter from a friendly staff member. It took about 15 minutes for us to get our food, but it was definitely worth the wait. The pizza crust is crispy on the bottom and light and fluffy, the sauce was just perfect and the toppings were fresh and abundant. Overall I would give this place a nine out of 10 on a scale of 10. We will definitely be back.

I had a great experience ordering here; the pizza was made & readied very timely, it was fresh and stayed warm for a while, and of course pizza was delicious. definitely wanted to note/appreciate that I ordered a side of ranch and they give it in a big cup + it’s top-tier house made. Honestly such an underrated part of the order so if you’re a ranch with pizza fan, this is a great place to check out.

Highly recommend the heritage pizza, which is freshly baked pizza with legit crust and impressive hot-honey sauce. It only cost 75 cents for one wing on Monday.

This is one of my favorite pizza places in Columbus and that's saying something since I eat pizza almost once a week. It's a bit on the expensive side but its a higher quality pie and will fill you up. My favorite is the Loaded Pep & Cheese special which is extra cheese and pepperoni with crushed red pepper flakes on a thick and soft, square cut crust. I think they used to add a lot more pepper flakes so now a days I may add a bit extra myself, but its still delicious and the flakes give it a bit of a kick. Back in college I used to go anytime I received a coupon in the saver magazine!

The most important thing to know is that their dough is excellent, so it's just a matter of choosing the right toppings for you. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and they get your order completed as quickly as can be done. Prices are reasonable. Was good enough that I came back again the same day.

First time trying this place and the people in here are so nice. Tom S. took my order and he was wonderful. Offered me a drink while I waited for my food. He remembered and used my name the whole time I was waiting for my food. Made me feel like a regular even though it was my first time. I will be back just because the people are so nice! Not to mention it smells great in here.

We ordered Pizza, wings and cheesy bread from Brenz and we all loved their food and especially their cheesy bread was the best my Dad has ever had. It was very quick service too that surprised me. They also brought our food to our rooms and not just to the lobby. On their pizzas they have smaller delicious pepperonis and I enjoyed that it brought me back to my childhood. I had a good experience and I do recommend their pizza shop. It all was very tasty.

I ordered a pizza. Spelled my name for the woman multiple times. Was told to come in 20 min, showed up in 30 min. They couldn't find my order and kept telling me they didn't have an order under my name and finally said they found it in the computer. Then had to make it bc they never made it. I waited for about 14 minutes and finally left with my pizza. It was good flavor but honestly had little to no cheese and little to no sauce it was wack! Woulda been a thousand times better if it was made not so sloppy and with a normal amount of ingredients. Some pieces actually had no cheese and no sauce. Just like 3 pepperoni's lol

By far one of the best, if not flat out the best pizza I have ever tried! It's like the old style pizza shops of the past, hand made and cooked in a brick oven. The crust is crisp, had a small amount of crust around the outside of the pizza, has a great sauce, and the toppings taste so fresh and cooked just right. I have found my new favorite pizza shop! I am stuffed, and I want to order another one it tasted so good! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Wow! We ordered pizza delivered to our hotel room on the suggestion of the concierge at our hotel and are really glad we did. The white artichoke pizza was delicious. The crust was both crispy and chewy, the ricotta salty and creamy and the artichoke added just the right touch. Really great pizza. Update: 9/12/19 back again. Had the Brenz white pizza again and also the Black and Bleu. Equally delicious. I love this pizza place!

When Brenz does it right there is no better pizza in Columbus but lately the inconsistencies in pizza have been profound. The last one I received was soggy and undercooked. Paying nearly 30 dollars and leaving a tip to have to cook my pizza in the air fryer and it still have an off taste. The time before that it was missing the toppings and the guy in the back asked "since when did it come with that. The cashier responded ALWAYS" Whatever section the dark-haired guy with the mustache is in, suffers when he's working please retrain him. Last time he couldn't even hear the cashier because he had his headphones in.

Not sure what all the fuss is a bout, it's very below average pizza IMO, sauce it tasty but overwelmingly sweet and you tire of it quickly. Toppings are very cheap looking and tasting (it's all very clearly prepackaged and not fresh at all), it's fine if you need a bite but by no way exceptional, I would not order again.

4 stars for the pizza because its pretty dang good. Minus a star for the recent influx of promotional emails without coupons. I understand you are under new ownership and are doing a blitz to increase business. At least include a code or something for a discount. It wouldn't kill ya to have some specials every once in a while either.

Great service. Ordered the 8" vegetarian pizza. The pizza was loaded with toppings and it's an affordable meal for $ 7.99.
