I stop by to grab some tasty treats for the dogs. I'm taking a whole rack of rib bones for $5. That's an amazing deal. If your looking for fresh meat being cut straight off the cow this is the place to go. You know it's good when you can watch them prepare the meat. I come here for the best deals and best taste.

The guys behind the counter were very friendly and knowledgeable. I don’t mind paying more to know where my food comes from and how it’s raised. When I say “pay more” it’s not a terrible jump in price from the Perdue,Tyson brands. From now on I’m only eating meat I hunt or buy from this place. Support your local butcher shop. They also have a small variety of local meats and cheeses for your evening cheese and crackers time.

If you have not been to The Butcher and the Grocer, make a point to stop in! Everything we buy from them is amazing! We just grilled the smoked brisket burgers and my husband is so sad there's not more to make! The kielbasa is incredible- after eating at Cleaver we had to come next door and buy some! The breakfast sausage? Delicious! Specialty bacon? Yep, they have it. Also, knowing where your meat comes from is an absolute sigh of relief. Seriously, I can not recommend these guys enough!

Picked up a couple of nice thick ribeyes to cook for Dad on Father's Day. Seared 'em up on the old cast iron skillet I inherited from my Gandparents, made a pan sauce and some crispy fried potatoes as well. Not a speck leftover. Fantastic quality beef for a special meal! Keep up the good work and thanks for supporting local agriculture.

After shopping here several times, I simply cannot justify going back. The meat is very good quality, but even at that it is ridiculously overpriced and the employees are arrogant and rude. $40 for 8 beef short ribs, barely two pounds. My boyfriend lives close to their East Market location so I bought a loaf of milk bread on a whim one day. $10 a loaf. It was so dry and inedible I called the store and they openly admitted to selling day-old bread at this price. Didn’t offer a store credit or anything, but I let it go and just used it for a bread pudding. Today I called the same location to ask if they had panchetta. They said yes, so I asked my boyfriend to stop and get some on his break. When he arrived less than a half hour later, they were “out” with no explanation. I’m so fed up with these “craft” businesses getting away with this kind of superior attitude while offering ultimately inferior products and service. I gave them many chances but they’ve lost my business for good.

It was my first visit here. As for business location and set up, I could not have been more pleased. The customer service was warm, friendly, and down to earth. That said, the heart of the matter is their food selection and quality, and THAT was top notch. The butcher cut my selected meat perfectly for the jerky I was making. I am giving four stars now until I can confirm this is a consistent experience. Until I can update my rating at a future date, I leave proof of this single experience. (I sautéd the remaining bits for a deliciously tender mid-night treat.)

First time in, when asking about different cuts of meat available the woman waiting on us responded, it's mid, something you would serve when you have guests that you don't really like. Same response about a different cut we asked about. Kind of strange, didn't really sell us on wanting to try anything. What we did get were some wings that were so spicy we couldn't finish & some brats that were ok. Wouldn't go back, mainly because of the weird service.

First time going to a butcher shop and everyone was so nice! Great atmosphere and all around great shop. B1G1 ground beef, green chorizo sausage, hot italian chicken sausage, reg hot italian sausage, and jalapeño cheddar sausage. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Went there to get a couple fillet mignons on my wife's birthday, as she wanted that for her birthday dinner. We were thinking of going to Carfagnas as we know how good their fillets are but didn't really want to do the drive, as we live in Hilliard. We were greeted as we walk in the door and asked what we wanted. I said we needed 2 fillets and she said that was all they had left so we bought them without realizing how much they cost, probably twice from what we get from Carfagnas. They were two beautiful cuts of meat and cooked down beautifully. My wife likes to "ruin" her fillets and have no pink at all, so that is how I cooked them. These were the most amazingly tender fillets I have ever tried, even when "ruined". They were well worth the price and I will likely be returning there for some other cuts and meats.

Not much of a grocer, but stellar boutique butcher shop with some beer and wine. The wine is often an interesting/eclectic selection. (Nice offering most of the time less right now. 3rd week May '23.) The smoked turkey breast is really good and only about six ingredients. (What like to see.) The local "processing" plant is award winning and very well done. A decent selection of meats including Italian, brats, and sausages. Mmmm and some chicken. All delicious!! Really!! Won't find much lamb or any fish here. As for the grocer, there are olives, crackers, dips and sauces and seasonings. They also carry eggs, chips, and some other interesting things to eat for the cocktail hour. Including unique cheeses. Some frozen delicacies as well. Pulled pork for instance is excellent. Bloody Mary's mix if you can get your head around molasses and anchovies. Delish!! Very nice people inside. All of them! All of these products are from Ohio farmers and distributors.

The highest quality meats in town! Was disappointed when I learned they had to cancel their plans to open an additional location in Dublin but am hoping they reconsider or maybe partner with other local businesses or restaurants that would allow for local pickup.

Made my first trip to an actual butcher today. Chose The Butcher and Grocer because they were near me and carry lamb. The 2 guys working (I apologize for not getting names) both apologetically explained they were between lamb suppliers. They then listened to my situation and recommended the most excellent cut for me to start my kebab journey. Just finished dinner and gotta say it was superb. They rock, helped me nail it out the park.
