20220821 I can't believe that I haven't been here in over 5 years. I hiked the trail as I always do when I come to this park. I was really surprised to see so much rocks are on the trail which made it a bit challenging for my little paws with tiny paws. Also, several fallen trees that my girls have to jump over, and overgrown weeds on the trail. All did made the hike more interesting. 5 years ago... I love this park. The section where the mansion is located is very clean and spacious with a garden, memorial, and other buildings. I love going hiking here with my dogs. The Ridge Top Trail is a great workout. It has a upward incline than a down hill hike. Be sure to wear hiking shoes because the down hill is pretty steep in some sections. This part is dog friendly. That's another section of trail that I skipped this time.

We wished we knew about this lovely place earlier! Morven Park has a lot going for it: beautiful photogenic scenery, well kept gardens, and wide open spaces with lots of walking paths. There's free visitor parking and a few museums to enjoy. It's perfect for a relaxing weekend visit!

Went for the Christmas Holiday Road event and had a really good time. They had food trucks, adult drinks, regular drinks and then you walked around the a d looked at all of the lights. It was a lot of fun and really helped get into the holiday spirit.

Came here last night for the holiday road. It was awesome, they served food & drinks (including alcohol) and tons of vendors selling items. The light show trail was really cool.

We checked out Holiday Road here. It was a great place to hold the event. The park is expansive, well groomed, and there's tons of parking. There's a lot of history here: a mansion which was the home of a former governor, museum, and also equestrian center. There are nature trails and casual picnicking spots. You can take Holiday tours of the Davis mansion right now. I am fairly certain the gardens can be rented for parties and weddings as well. We didn't know of this park before Holiday Road, but we now consider it a great park to add in our rotation.

Good place to watch Polo with sloped hills and flat areas to sit on. Most people brought lawn chairs, blankets and picnic items (byob).

My daughter had a dressage event at Morven Park and it was a first class experience for us. The facilities were top-notch, with well-maintained arenas and plenty of space for spectators. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make sure that everyone had a positive experience. We were especially impressed with the quality of the footing in the arenas. It was perfect for dressage, with just the right amount of give and support. The arenas were also well-lit, which made it easy to see the horses and riders even in the evening. In addition to the great facilities, Morven Park also offers a variety of amenities that make it a great place to host a dressage event. There is a large parking lot with plenty of spaces, and there are also restrooms and concessions available. There is also a large grassy area where spectators can relax and enjoy the show. Overall, we had a great experience at Morven Park. The facilities were top-notch, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the amenities were plentiful. We would definitely recommend Morven Park to anyone looking for a great place to host a dressage event. We did the Harry Potter experience trail here. It was our first time through and I didn't read up too much on the experience as to enjoy what was in front of me rather than trying to compare my experience with others. Overall, it's a very easy trail hike through the woods. There's plenty of benches for anyone who needs a break. About halfway through there's a small village which has bathrooms and a few places to eat. The meals were more filling and reasonably priced than I was expecting (always a good thing) and they had good flavor. There are a few points along the trail that are interactive but mostly you are just enjoying your time going through the forest and spending an evening with the lights. The first time is probably not going to be our last time but I don't feel like it will be an event we do every year.

I went to the Harry Potter forbidden forest in Morven park Leesburg VA on Halloween night. The hike was beautiful and everything was perfect. This theme is open at the same location all the way until January 2023 if anyone wants to take the opportunity to go with family and friends. It’s a very safe place & clean.

Attended the Harrry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience which is at Morven Park until Jan 2023. The grounds were well-kept for the event and everyone who worked there was lovely to talk to! It was absolutely beautiful. There were restrooms about halfway through (those fancy portable bathrooms) one was handicap accessible. I did see an accessible ramp for one of the interactions that required getting onto a platform as well, and believe that the path would have been alright if in a wheelchair as well. The time spent to set all of that up as well as how well done the effects were I'd say that even someone not "into" HP would appreciate this experience very much.

A spur of the moment detour brought us to the Morven Park Garden and Mansion. We were able to tour the mansion with a guide and a small group of people. The building is well preserved with beautifully decorated rooms. Afterwards we strolled the gardens. The whole area encompasses 1000 acres and the garden access is free (the mansion tour has an admission fee). Highly recommended.

It was a different experience. My grandchildren loved the Holiday Road. It was not too handicapped friendly. Just trying to get to the entrance was a bit rough for me. The food trucks were a bit pricey also.

Attended the harry potter experience here and it seemed pretty well attended and organized. Took about 1.5 hrs to get thru entire experience while making stops for picture taking opportunities, getting some snacks (including butterbeer of course), participating in their immersive experiences and checking out their gift shop. Overall a fun and enjoyable event for Harry Potter fans during a nice cool evening.

Hidden gem near the heart of Leesburg. The grounds are beautiful and good for a quiet stroll or picnic. While visiting the grounds (free) , consider the docent-guided mansion tour (paid) and the (included) carriage museum tour for a sense of how the upper crust lived in Loudoun County over a century ago.

Wet to the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest Experience. Wife's a big HP fan. Everything was great. Service, parking, show, etc. Only thing I could say was a negative would be prices of all concessions and souvenirs. That's certainly to b expected though. Great night out, highly recommended.

Visited in January 2023 while the Harry Potter Experience was up and running there. The park itself is approx a couple miles of main trail through the woods and is a nice walk. The Harry Potter Experience was a fun outing to share with the family, particularly at night. Lights, sound, animatronics, holograms, and intimidating (for children) reenacted scenes from the movies can be enjoyed by all ages. Definitely worth a visit!
