Had a great time as first timers to the escape room experience. Tried to solve the Christmas room. Our puzzle master who was there with us the entire way was very helpful, when asked!! Would recommend as a family/friend activity.

I've done escape rooms before and this location was the nicest. Our room was spacious enough to to hold 5 of us. Although we did not beat the record time we did finish with enough time for optional puzzle clues. A nice team building activity.

We had a really fun experience at our first outing and will definitely be back! We did Refuge and the puzzles were challenging yet not overwhelming. Our Gamemaster (Emily) was great and was quick to help when there was a technical difficulty beyond our (and her) control. I highly recommend this for a fun outing for a group of friends and even a family. Next time we go, we might try the Loco Cocoa Factory with the kids clues so our young daughters can join in on the fun!

I brought my two sons (7, 9) to Escape Room LOCO and we had a GREAT time! The instructions were clear and the room was so much fun! The kids clues really allowed us to explore the room with confidence. At one point we did have to ask for assistance, but that was mostly to keep the excitement going for the kids. We didn't make it out, but think that next time, we will! We will definitely be back - we're hoping that next time it will be with some new recruits!

A group of friends and I did the Loco Cocoa Factory room. We felt completely immersed in the theme, and all of the puzzles are unique and fun. I liked how whimsical and colorful it was. We even got actual chocolate after completing the bonus puzzles! Highly recommend this escape room!

My family LOVES escape room loco! My husband and I do many escape rooms at many different locations, so we've seen it all. LOCO has large rooms that lead into other rooms. Many different puzzles to solve. We've done all their current rooms and have even taken our kids ages 13,7,4, and 2 to 2 of them! The older kids had a blast in the chocolate factory one!

This was our first experience doing an escape room. The room was set up amazingly well. The clues where well thought out and just challenging enough. Our game master kept it fun. We had a wonderful time.

As a escape room lover, i can say that this family owned escape room place is one of the best ones in NOVA! Couple reasons for this is: they have new rooms more frequently compared to other escape room places. I went here couple years ago to try one of their thriller rooms, and still to this day, i remember vividly how it all played out (shows how impactful the whole experience was) Recently tried out their new room, Alien Agents - which wasn’t bad but always love the multiple room escape rooms 🙂 Will come again!

The room was very colorful and fitting to the theme. The theme that we did was family friendly, and although we were all adults, it was still very fun.

Having never been to any escape room, This was quite an experience and adventure. Our group was really fun and we worked together nicely. Would definitely go again.

Amazing escape room! I am a huge escape room lover and have tried many places. This is one of the best! The rooms are well thought out and detailed, and the puzzles can stump you. I have done Refuge and Ridge Saloon. Both of these were fantastic and the people I were with really enjoyed it as well. I look forward to coming back and trying out Alien Agents. Both game masters I’ve had (Isiah and I forget the other one, sorry!) we’re friendly and gave very helpful hints when we needed them. If you’re looking to try out an escape room or looking for a new place, I would absolutely recommend here.

Escape Room LoCo was absolutely AMAZING for our team bonding! I am the director of the Tuscarora Marching Huskies, and we brought the kids to do a team bonding experience! They made the experience so smooth and they kids absolutely had a blast! Thank you Escape Room LoCo for all of your support!

This was a great experience for the most part. The layout of the facility is nice with lots of cool details and the escape room itself was challenging and engaging. The only negative part of the experience was that we were told to arrive 15 minutes early, which we did, and then proceeded to wait around for 10 minutes without being addressed by any of the staff. There is a sign that instructs you to wait in the lobby area upon arrival but it would have been nice to have been greeted by a staff member, even if they couldn't set us up for the room immediately.

The room was excellent! The puzzles definitely were fun yet challenging and very unique! Our game master, Madison, was awesome and helped us out when we needed! We definitely plan to return again and try out the other rooms they have to offer!

We brought the family here (ages 4-12). The waiting/instruction area was decorated for the holiday season, the staff was super friendly and patient, and the room experience was great. We did the chocolate factory: very cute story and décor. The rooms were clean and the puzzles stimulating. Everyone of all ages had a blast trying to find clues and solve puzzles. We'll definitely do this again!

This place is totally awesome! We did LoCo Ridge Saloon with a full 8 players. Our group has done a couple escape rooms together before, and this one is by far my favorite. The puzzles were exciting and the theming was on point! We finished with a couple minutes to spare. Thank you to our game master, Madison, for an awesome experience as well! You were great!

I was pleasantly surprised by Escape Room LOCO. I've visited other escape companies and this one felt more charming and diverse than most. We did the coco loco factory. The puzzles were a great mixture of difficult and simple, so my entire party was able to participate from an 8 year to a 70 year old. For a locally owned, the production value is fantastic! If you are looking for an activity in downtown Leesburg, I highly recommend this place!

My group did the log cabin "Refuge" theme. Creative puzzle, required a lot of group interaction and problem solving. Not so difficult that you constantly felt stuck but difficult enough to feel you were doing something when you cracked it. Good experience. Would go back and do another room.

Had a great time with great friends! Amazing how you’re transformed into a different world once you’re in the room. We did not make it out in time, but we were close. This was our first escape room and will certainly not be the last. Thank you to the staff for a great time!

We had such a great experience! It was only 3 of us, but we got the whole escape room to ourselves. The clues are so tricky and it keeps you entertained the entire time. We were able to get out with 5 minutes to spare! Highly recommend this for families, friends, and anyone that wants to do a fun activity.

This was such a great escape room experience! It was well thought out in design, challenging, and fun! We had a group of 8 (5 adults aged 38-63, 3 kids aged 8-15) and everyone walked out of there happy.

We took my son and his friends to the Refuge escape room. I had done the same room previously so I asked for kids' clues so they could escape on their own. Due to some miscommunication, they had the same clues the adults did. However, the owner contacted me the same night to apologize and offer a discount. I'm so impressed with the response and prompt communication. Thank you, Escape Room LOCO!

My first escape room! What a great time! Even with six of us, our brain trust was unable to escape. Undaunted, we will be returning for more fun and failure! The staff was great and we really enjoyed this entire experience. Returning soon!

Not the best escape room experience we have had. My husband and I have been doing escape rooms for many years and have quite a variety under our belts. This was not an enjoyable 45 minutes. We did the Halloween Town room in 2022. None of the puzzles or codes in this room led to one another; there was no flow whatsoever. The room consisted of a series of completely separate, disjointed puzzles/codes. Rooms with stories, flow, and connectivity are far better. Additionally, the puzzles/codes were weird. That's not a great descriptor but I'm struggling to find something that fits. Usually codes require intelligent thought or noticing a pattern and normally, when it's a pattern, it can be found based on clues within the room. Not here. You had to somehow just know how to group things. It was quite odd. In theory, this should have been easy but it's like you had to understand the creator to get anywhere. Which obviously doesn't lead to a great game because there is no way to know the creator. Overall, we won't be back to this escape room company as adults. Maybe it's better in the kids version?

This escape room was super disappointing. Most of the puzzles came in the form of locks that were sticky. One puzzle had a piece that was not properly set up. One puzzle required a step that didn't make sense. One puzzle turned off before completed which is also what happens when you make a mistake and have to restart. Overall it was frustrating. We've completed many escape rooms in the past and have lost some but still had fun. This was not fun. The game master was not very helpful. Instead of letting us know we were going in the right direction or answering our questions she just gave us the lock combination. It was a cute set up bit would recommend driving farther to find a more fun escape room.
