This store is a hit or miss with service. The perfume, sunglasses, handbag and men's departments are always very helpful. The women's department is lacking on the 3rd floor. The younger minority sales associates are always the ones to actually approach me in the women's section. I've been ignored multiple times on the 3rd floor and have taken my money elsewhere. They need to do better. Racial profiling is not good, especially during this bad economy. Bloomies in Mosaic has way better service and a more friendly atmosphere. They don't have a lot but they can order it for you. Not to mention they have a Coloda shop attached.

Beautiful store, just what you expect at Bloomingdales. Houses the LV and Gucci stores, carries almost all big brands. Staff is helpful, cosmetics section is a little cornered because of the construction work going on.

Went this Evening and was in a line to check out in the Lingerie department. I was in line before nine, the time when store closes at. We just had one item, and the lady at the counter spent over 15 minutes pleasingly on the lady, who was in front of us. As she was buying too much from her from her department and the cashier was earning her share that way by selling her the items. Which is fine. Cashier treated her extra nicely and spent good enough time on her that in the meantime they announced that the store is closed. And, when it was my turn Cashier told us that the store is now closed, and so hinting abruptly that I should not be there now. She didn't even want to do the price check for an item and wanted us to leave. How rude? When I was there in line before nine. She saw that I have only an item when the lady in front me had bunch of items. Why didn't she offer to take us first then if she was so worried about store closing and later she could have taken her sweet time on a customer who's bringing her money. Felt that how differently they treat you and rude they can go if you are not bringing any money to them. Shouldn't even give them one star!

The only Bloomingdale’s in Northern Virginia and one of the flagship stores for Tysons Corner Center. It attaches to the nearest parking garage with a bridge to the third floor of the garage. Currently undergoing renovations in the cosmetics and fragrances area so there is a large portion of the main floor blocked off and you will have to walk around. They still have all of their makeup and fragrance products available however the displays are not as lavish. All of the upscale products you associate with Bloomies from Burberry to Louis Vuitton are available here - they house the Louis Vuitton shop for the mall also. Excellent service is the rule rather than the exception here. Highly recommend if you are looking for an upscale shopping experience

Great selection of merchandise, great sales too! Lena Kim was extremely helpful from placing items in the fitting room to offering her suggestions when I asked for her opinion. She really went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction with an item I was on the fence about purchasing due to a small tear in the back. She offered to have it sewn up at no cost and it was completed with no flaws in mere minutes! Amazing service, I cannot say enough. I sincerely appreciated her genuine kindness and assistance. In addition to the selection of items available, Bloomingdale's has great service.

Bloomingdale's is located in the luxurious Tysons Corner Bloomingdale's is America's only nationwide, full-line, upscale department store. With an enduring international reputation for quality, creativity and uniqueness, Bloomingdale's is at the forefront of retailing worldwide. Their emphasis on distinctive and unique products, available only at, or first at Bloomingdale's. The staff there is always knowledgeable, courteous, and eager to assist and satisfy all customers. I definitely recommend Bloomingdale's for an A++ experience.

Mattress buying is tough for a consumer. If you are going to buy a mattress find a place that allows you you a free exchange and or return policy. Bloomingdale’s takes 15% from your original purchase price just for you to do an exchange. Knowing that they have higher end mattresses this is quite a bit of money. There is NO return policy either just an exchange option. Once you do one exchange and lose 15% that’s all you get. It puts a lot of pressure on the buyer. Also, it would be helpful if the sales staff mentions other mattress’ are available online rather than just selling what’s in the show room. These are way overpriced and if you shop around for mattress’ that aren’t exclusive just to Bloomingdale’s/Macy’s you’ll see they are marked up more than their competitors Plenty of other places and suppliers offer risk free trials. Stay away!

Big scam and ignorant customers service people! Here is what I have received for my new order, use your judgment. I was promised for full refund plus a free replacement that NEVER happened! Emailed and called lots of time, but no responses and nobody cared! I even have a screenshot of my Chat with their supervisor,Ahmed for a free replacement but they don’t honor it. DO NOT SHOP FROM THEM!

Sad I have never bought a purse of this quality before. My gut said go to Saks for a purse that retails for over $1000. But I saw Bloomingdale’s had it in the right color. The item was clearly a floor model - scratched and scuffed in multiple places I will be returning it and not coming back

I have mixed feelings towards this mall. On one end the stores on the second level are not that bad and you can find some good things. On the they hand the bottom floor is dirty and feels like it’s out of a dystopian cyber punk movie. Overall I go here when I must but I would not recommend just walking around here to hang out. Just go to the galleria, it’s much nicer to hang out in

I’d give zero stars if I could. The worst customer service experience I’ve had at any retail store. I’d ordered a dress online for my mother to wear to a wedding but it took longer to arrive and she didn’t need it. I didn’t even open the bag the dress was shipped in until I arrived at the store. After being ignored by 3 sales staff, I finally found one at an open register. I opened the bag in front of her and she even had to break the Bloomingdale’s logo sticker that holds together the tissue paper that the dress was wrapped in. She inspected the entire dress and then found a stain on the inside and said she couldn’t take the return because it had been worn. I explained that it was shipped to me from the warehouse in that condition and that she had literally just seen me open the sealed bag in front of her so there’s no way that I had worn it. She was extremely rude & condescending and we argued back and forth. I kept repeating that the dress was sold to me worn and stained and as I just unsealed the package in front of her it was impossible that for me to have tried it on. I told her to call her manager and then she finally agreed to take the return. I felt racially profiled because she was rude to me from the beginning of our interaction because of the way she looked me up and down and had a stuck up tone. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone to shop at this location. It seems to be a trend based on these reviews that the staff here racially profile people of color & accuse you of wearing items that THEY HAVE sold to you as worn and used from their warehouse. DO BETTER!

In the year of our Lord 2024, is it really too much to ask that the largest Bloomingdale's in the Mid-Atlantic region carry women's plus sizes?!? Also, if you're going to exclude such a substantial portion of the population from shopping at your store, the least you can do is apologize when someone asks to be directed to the non-existent plus-size section. Because it's something you ought to apologize for.

Offensively expensive yet they don't have enough money to fix the escalator from the 2nd floor down to the 1st? The people are nice enough and the store is clean but very little in the way of stock and it sort of feels like they're phoning it in. For example, all the shelves have labels that say, "shelf." And not nice labels, either. It's like they only used the very end of labeling tape, the striped part that tells you it's time to install a new roll. Anyway, really disappointing.

I had a great experience at the store with Ingrid and Margaret. Both were very helpful with my exchange and offered the utmost customer service. Thank you ladies!

I’ve been cloth shopping here for 15 years. Decent selection, decent sales come available and overall good customer service. For suits I recommend seeing Farzad. Super passionate and energetic and will steer you in the right direction.

Store is outstanding and deserves 5 star, but 3 times of extremely terrible customer service make it a 1 star due to encounters with "Elicia Piccardi" at Online Pickup/Customer Sevice counter, she has NO KNOWLEDGE of how to actually service customers and if this Bloomingdale location has any interest in retaining customers at all, they would really consider relocating this lady, where she has the minimum contact with actual customers.

Great shopping experience, but prices are highly inflated. If you want the high-end experience but don't want to break the bank, go to Nordstrom.

Great personal shopping experience but ran into a snag when getting an alteration for a dress. The sales associate, Lena, said the item would be ready by 8-12 but the ticket said 8-18. Thank goodness I called the store and spoke to someone, who said that it would have not been ready by 8-12. I appreciate the Alterations team member’s help and that it I can pick it up 8-16. A little disappointing that I could have been left without a dress for a wedding.

They definitely had tremendous sales going on during the New Year week people were excited to get their hands on some of the latest fashions and styles definitely recommend bloomingdales as a go to place for those last minute gifts and/or items for themselves

Not the least expensive place in the world! 🤭 I walked through on my way elsewhere and was amazed at all the cute shoe options (better than Nordstrom and far, far better than Macy's)! Saw the perfect sneakers for $1100 but also saw beautiful sandals on clearance for $80😱

There's a professional who works in the purse department who was super helpful, he dresses all in black... Very put together looking with a blazer. I didn't get his name. I had a problem with the bag I ordered and he went looking for the missing part in the back. The ppl working here are very excellent. That guy especially! Be kind when you interact with the ppl who work there in that department. I've met some really professional pleasant associates in the purse and clothing department; I can't list them all. Thanks so much for the assistance during a stressful, nerve wrecking time <3 happy holidays :)

Love the pride flags all over the ceiling of this store. They have ever brand you can think of. Get your name brand shoes, hand bags, purses and clothing here. Staff could be nicer though.

Customer service was great, but the sales clerk was seriously confused. I was returning a defective item for my daughter who was away at college. I finally accomplished the goal. But Lord have mercy, I am disabled, walk back and forth when you could have handled the matter at your station.

Always a great store to shop. Nice and neat. Associates are pretty nice you have a few that attempt to judge books by the covers. Prices are the typical high end store prices.
