Nice, small, and modern diner. Modernly decorated with some technology as wall decor. Stav is the owner and the cook. He can cook! Special shout out to Ms. Kate and her lovely service. I purchased the breakfast combo number one and it hit the spot. Well made and delicious. Fresh coffee and oj. Nice and friendly staff and the customers seem to all know one another. Tight parking available out front. Decent prices.

Very classic neighborhood diner feel on a weekday morning. Excellent corned beef hash and eggs. The cook, who I'm guessing was the owner, was present and detail oriented enough that he asked if I wanted my eggs on top of my hash, which of course I did.

This is an extremely busy diner. We waited for 10 min to be seated, which was not bad. Although, very small, the food was great. The staff were attentive and the chef was awesome. The grill is right in front of the diner counter so you can watch as he prepares your meal. Prices were good as well. Would recommend this restaurant....only thing I didn't like was the staffs personal coffee cups next to the coffee pot on the front counter. You should not be eating and working..even if it's coffee. IJS.

This place may be my new favorite in the city! Stav's Diner=(Stav the owner/cook/passion) Stav vision radiates through his staff and his amazing food. We first found this place online just before covid and hadn't actually made it there till now. We finally made it yesterday 09 October 21 for breakfast it was so good we decided to come back Sunday for lunch. Besides my own he has the best gravy for biscuits and gravy anywhere I've been! You see him cooking, you see the pride he takes in his food in the way he works and you taste that difference!!! This place is awesome and if you haven't been yet no matter what side of town you live on, make it a point to check this food out. You won't regret it! Thanks Stav and thank you to your hard working staff.

Great little diner. Friendly staff and great prices. Food came out perfect and coffee was kept full. It's a small area so expect a little wait but no complaints here

My son and I tried Stav's for the first time today. The menu offers both breakfast and lunch items . Son had the club and I ordered the BLTE breakfast sandwich. Our server was friendly and never let our cupa get halfway empty. Our food came out in under 10 minutes , this with only one cook and a full house. Both of our plates were delicious. The club and the BLTE both had great flavor with crisp veggies and awesome bacon. The fries were crinkle cut and delicious! For both our orders and 2 coffees our total was $23. We will definitely be back !

Good atmosphere and cute little place. Greeted, given menu, and order taken by the guy behind counter cooking. Waitress never talked to me until I left and paid my bill. Then gave a look when I didn't leave tip. Sorry but I knew she would get it and didn't do a damn thing to earn it. You need to talk to everyone not just your regulars and people you know. Great cooks and kitchen staff. Food was good! Reason for four stars.

Perfect small diner with excellent food. I recommend sitting at the bar to watch Stav himself chef it up! Great vibes and even better food!

The eggs were less than done and even had a few tiny shell pieces on my egg and cheddar cheese bagel sandwich. I ordered tea but never got it. There was just one person waiting on the whole restaurant, so that's understandable. It's a cute place but they really need to do something about hiding the view of the toilet from your table. I don't know about anyone else but eating runny eggs while gazing at restroom tile doesn't make my tummy feel great. They do have outdoor patio dining if that's your cup of tea. Overall, a less than enjoyable time. UPDATE: Returned today after two and a half years and had the blueberry pancakes. They were absolutely scrumptious (if a little on the small side).

You don’t see diners like this anymore. Stav’s got homemade corned beef hash he mixes up right there on the grill. It comes out crispy and fresh with a lot less sodium than canned junk. I recommend the Rye toast. It’s hard to find good toast these days. Expect to leave full!

What a pleasant surprise here! We love diners, and this hidden gem was a nice find. Came on a busy Sunday morning after a game so there was a wait (we expected to wait). Sat at the counter and had the friendliest service by Charlie ! The gentlemen on the grill were amazing to watch,and our food was above par for this little place! I tried their SOS special (creamed chipped beef on toast with eggs). It was perfect! So happy we found this place as we will be back. Really friendly staff here !

What a pleasant surprise. We were in the area and saw this diner and decided to give it a try. I am so glad we did. I love good sausage gravy and this is the best I’ve had in years. I attached a photo of today’s special, they call it the stacker and it was delicious. My wife commented that the hash browns had the perfect amount of crispness to them. If ever in the area again we will definitely visit stavs diner.

I loved the breakfast. It was crowded and if your 6ft or over, it's not much room at the bar. They need a bigger place. I will go back though.

Stav’s diner is one of the best Diners in Columbus, Ohio; the breakfast is outstanding; I love the Howard French toast, with the ham, and scrambled eggs and cheese; all of their breakfast are outstanding; you can’t go wrong with any choice you select! Lunch at Stav’s also superb; anything you pick is grilled cheese, tuna or chicken melt, Patty melts; their club sandwiches, and etc. I give stab diner A 12 out of 10!!!!! I also love the staff!!!!! Ha

Amazing!! First time here and it does not disappoint. A new favorite place to grab a hearty breakfast. Would recommend the French toast, blueberry pancakes, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, and the B.E.L.T sandwich! If you’re in Bexley, go to this diner at least once.

Old school diner that is absolutely fantastic! Consistent, friendly, and delicious! Can't really go wrong here. Parking sucks, and place can get packed, but that's just cause they're so good!

This place was AMAZING!! Great food, great little atmosphere. Between us all we had omelets, corned beef hash, biscuits and gravy, and blueberry pancakes. Even had the banana cream pie for a breakfast dessert!

While on vacation, my family ate there two days in a row. The food was delicious, and the restaurant had such a warm and friendly atmosphere with staff calling regulars by name throughout our visits. If we lived in the area, we would certainly be regulars. You will not regret visiting this great place. 👍

A wonderful, classic diner experience. My fiancee and I and began to visit Stav's after a long night of work. Between the eggs, french toast, and hashbrowns there's a lot of love put into the food. The employees are very friendly and provide a sense of community. I'll gladly return whenever we need a pick-me-up for some delicious food.

Found this place on Yelp while looking for some breakfast and stopped in on Sunday. Very cozy diner, tight squeeze because of all the customers and small area but the food and customer service was great. I got the #1 combo and it was delicious. Sausage tasted fresh, eggs were perfect and the hash browns were nice and crispy. Food comes straight from the griddle to you so it’s piping hot which is awesome.

Beautiful little diner, exceptionally clean and friendly staff. The prices are great and the coffee is rich, but not too strong. The food is fresh and delicious. We will be back!

This diner is amazing. Food always excellent, service is top notch, prices are very reasonable. Only knock I can say it's not very big, and on a busy day can be tight. I've become a regular.

Me and my fiance love coming here the staff alone will bring a smile to your face, the food omg the food reminds you of childhood days watching grandma cooking up a hot breakfast or a quick lunch. Always hot they will not disappoint you when you come eat. Food is set to a decent price haven't found a spot to beat it other than probably eating at home. Will be returning soon for some more great food and music.

Great food and well made classic diner fare with fresh quality. The diner is small so it can get a little crowded, and the food is always freshly made so expect a little wait when they're busy (you can only fit so many meals on the flat top). However, the hustle over the flat top is part of the charm, and joy of eating at Stav's--sitting at the counter is a high quality free show.

Stav’s Diner is one of my favorite places to eat breakfast! The food is AMAZING, but the customer service is even better! Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful, they really just want you to have a nice meal. I recommend this for anybody who eats food to live!

The food was amazing and most of the staff were very nice. However, because the diner is in a compact space, one of the staff asked my friend and I to leave so they could seat other customers. It shocked both of us and when I was hesitant about her request, they tried to explain the situation. Just know that this place is not a sit and chat restaurant since they appear to be more concerned about getting customers in and out within 30 minutes to an hour.
