It had all the characteristics of a Merlot and at the same time it was surprisingly SMOOTH. This made it a superb Merlot. The rest of the tasting experience is good. The grounds are beautiful, perfect for a picnic. The cold cellar converted into a lounge area is cozy. The upstairs, a roomy more modern livingroom setting is very warm and inviting. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. A very nice place for enjoying a glass or a bottle of wine with friends or for renting out areas to host an event.

The grounds are just beautiful and full of history. We were lucky to have visited during a craft festival and picked up some lovely items. The Staff are so welcoming and the wine was delightful.

The pictures tell it all. Beautiful setting , good prices, and 1 hr from DC. We bought our own food. Many tables near the fields. Est 1790 !

Very quaint winery with vineyard. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of seating with wide open rolling hills around the manor. Reasonable prices (typical for the area) for tastings, glasses and bottles. Some charcuterie options available for purchase or bring your own.

A nice winery set in a quiet location. The outdoor seating is very nice with a view of the wines and mountains. Indoor seating is limited and a little small from what I observed. Wines were good and food options are limited to bite size snacks. Some hot food options would have been great! It was a little cold when we arrived since the sun was down but we still enjoyed the experience.

I'm a wedding photographer and The Winery at La Grange Weddings are always awesome to capture! I love the venue space and options for photos. I can't wait to capture another wedding there!

This wine maker knows what he is doing. What a beautiful winery and comforting grounds. Has to be one of my favorites in all of Virginia. Hospitality is on point and they always make you feel like you're part of the family. Keep doing what you're doing.

One of the best wineries in Northern Virginia. You can do tasting, buy a glass of wine or a bottle and drink on the property. The building itself has cute intimate places to drink upstairs. And there are plenty of places outside where you can sit and enjoy. You can also bring your own food.
