This is the worst gym establishment I have ever been to. The weight room is tiny and often crowded. After you purchase the membership, they do not care about ur input and make the cancellation process extremely hard. Along with my other concerns, I have observed the manager operating in a very lackadaisical and unprofessional manner. I have also observed some of the teenagers being mistreated by management, which is unacceptable. I believe the name of the manager is Terry Lambert. My report is consistent with other reviews, which goes to show exactly how bad the management is. I will certainly be taking my business to golds gym or planet fitness.

I am going to report to head office about managers not taking heed in complaints in the over crowded body pump classes and other yoga classes. This is a health hazard and the staff should monitor how many registered and instructors needs to put foot down and be strict with capacity it’s like being in a cattle herd … please know flu season has arrived and Covid so stop putting immune compromised at risk by packing in last minute stragglers it’s Not fair! I’d rather go to another gym at this rate and pay more for hygienic environment without getting sick all the time! I need to report to the main office because nothi

Anytime we are in town I bring the whole family here for a workout. Very nice, clean facility with anything you could possibly need for a workout. The staff are always cheerful and more than happy to help with any requests. My kids absolutely LOVE the pools and beg me to let them go down the slide "one more time" everytime we are there. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new gym the whole family can enjoy.

I’m glad this is a safe place to go for the kids in the neighborhood. Gym is clean but it’s always overly crowded and filled with younger community members. Swimming is almost non existent here as well due to the small pool and the overarching swim lessons that have to take place from 8:00-12 then 3:00-8:00 5 days a week. Please start to restrict this because it’s impossible for “walkers or swimmers” to be able to properly share a lane as there’s only 2 open that are not even.

Horrible fine prints in the membership! Suspending or canceling the membership is a nightmare (in case you plan to travel for couple of months). The membership team will be too blunt & rigid. Read the fine prints. Even if you fulfill your minimum membership duration requirement, they won’t easily let you go & throw various fine prints at you & charge Misc. extra fees.

What a great gym! I’ve been a member for over a year now. The gym is huge, with all kinds of workout equipment and programs that will fit anyone’s fitness needs. The staff and trainers are great – friendly and very knowledgeable. The management is very responsive to member needs and questions. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. And clean – really clean! Overall, the best gym I’ve ever been a member of, and that is over decades of serious and casual training!

Great gym but they should put a sign on how long can people leave their stuff so other people can use the equipment. There was this lady who was gone for 10 minutes and just left her stuff on the tread. I think they should make a clear note so other people don't have to wait. It's basic gym etiquette. Get your stuff if you are gone for a long time.

One Life is my happy place that I need to be at everyday- Not only am I greeted with a smile and small chit chat with the front desk attendants, be it Mike, Lisa or even Juli and Terrie but I leave the gym, feeling energized and beat after a tough workout! The group fitness classes are always a fun environment, involving a variety of workouts that require vigorous amounts of energy. All instructors are experts in the field and really work hard to make the workouts and atmosphere fun and inviting! No matter what your fitness level is, classes are for everyone and you will leave getting an excellent workout in while constantly being challenged. I have made some wonderful friendships at One Life with members who share my same passion and love for fitness and we truly are a community at One Life. I always speak so highly about One Life and its people to everyone!

I’ve been lifting at Onelife for over a year now and I love this gym! The environment and community is so wonderful and supportive. Its location is so convenient, as it’s close to many people’s homes and near a bunch of restaurants - and there’s so much you can do in the gym, whether you’re looking to weight train, do cardio, box, etc. There’s something for everyone and I’d highly recommend it.

Sparkling clean and spacious, this is one of the best gyms I’ve been a member of. There’s enough equipment to handle peak crowds, and even at its busiest the gym’s staff is super friendly and helpful. And the pool! It’s perfect—big enough that it never feels overrun, but small enough to foster a nice sense of community. The pool hours are also great for working families. Overall, I highly recommend this gym to friends, family, and even visitors!

Best gym I’ve been to! Good equipment, that will cover all your basis. Decent sized gym, not too big and not too small. Good classes for swimming, yoga, and Pilates. And just great people all over, there’s two young ladies named I believe Juli and Terrie. They’re like Angel people my goodness. And if you get a chance at the Cafe Sipfit check out their Almond Crunch smoothie. If I had a critique it would be a lot of the annoying teenagers. Goodness sake they’re like animals that got out of the zoo! Animals I tell you!

The workout equipment is getting rusty because they never clean the machines. Many of the workout machines are broken and never seem to be fixed. The temperature just keeps getting hotter upstairs and extremely disappointed in the condition of the gym. They are in a great location but definitely need to step it up with the upkeep.

First and foremost be wary of exceedingly low reviews. I have seen a number of high school aged students/kids try to sneak their way into the gym and get (rightfully) turned away. In any case, One Life Fitness is an excellent venue, with a number of different rooms/venues to get a great workout in. I spend my time in the open "turf" area where you can get a good cross-fit like workout, as well as the second floor where there is an awesome space for free-weights and the like. It was just the sort of place I wanted to pick up my workouts after returning to the Brambleton area after some time. The staff there are energetic, helpful, and funny! Overall 5 star rating, don't hesitate to visit if you need a place to workout!

I've been visiting the Onelife facility in Brambleton a few times since they've reopened under Virginia phase 2 during the ongoing pandemic. I have to say that they're doing as good of a job as possible keeping social distancing guidelines and making sure everyone using the facility feels safe. There are plenty of cleaning sprays, paper towels, and trashcans to encourage people to clean the equipment before and after usage, and all the staff members are wearing masks. They also check everyone's temperature before entering. Overall, fantastic job Onelife Brambleton! 👍

I've been a member at this gym for over 4 years. It use to be a great gym but not any more. The indoor pool is too small. Always have to wait for a lane. They are accepting too many members. The gym is very crowded with a bunch of teenager hanging out and not really working out. The yoga class is extremely small. It can only hold 20 students. They make you sign up for classes but there is no one there to enforce it. I've checked in to a class before and didn't have a spot in class because it was taken by someone who didn't register for the class. The instructor just look at me and said sorry. Why make people register for a class and there is no one to enforce it? Half of the shower in the ladies locker room is broken.

I love using the pool at Brambleton, but can you please go back to your 11p closing time? Closing at 9p (8:30p for the pool) is a real time crunch when I previously didn't show up til 9p.

I’ve been a member for almost 9 years and can speak more so to the fitness class experience, as that is what I have done mostly since I started. The instructors are amazing and I think debunk the myth that fitness classes are “easy.” Each class challenges you in a different way and gives you an amazing workout that you wouldn’t get just doing it by yourself. This summer was also our first experience with swim lessons at the gym. Our son did 3 different sessions of swim lessons and he improved so much in such a short period of time. Even just after the first 2 weeks, he was way beyond where he was after 9 weeks at a different pool he did lessons at earlier in the spring.

OneLife at Brambleton is perhaps the best gym my family and I have joined. It is like our home away from home where we have made lifelong friends who inspire us to be the best version of ourselves. During COVID when there was a limited amount of people allowed inside, we never felt more safe in a public space. The gym was spotless and the staff took extra measures to ensure member safety. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, helpful and friendly. The diversity of classes is exceptional with offerings for every member at all various levels of fitness. I would never thinking of going anywhere else for my personal fitness needs. One of our sons recently moved to Arlington and added the OneLife Ballston gym to his membership - he feels the exact same at that location too!

Joined after moving in the neighborhood recently. Place is very clean, spacious mostly, has amenities such as sauna, pools, and basketball court . But goodness, the equipment needs to be replaced. Plates and machines with worn numbers you can’t see at all. Rusting as well. One person below mentioned only one cable cross machine here which is true and ridiculous. If they would update the equipment I would renew but doubt it. Seems like most onelife gyms have similar issues. They took over the old sport and health and kept the old equipment.

I signed up as a member in May 2022. I requested information on a personal trainer to help me achive my strength and weight loss goals. The Membership team, specifically Rocky, paired me up with Kristine Perry due to her experience and my challenges. Best thing anyone could have ever done. After the initial consult and establishing a base line of my physical needs, it is hard to believe where I am now and where we started. She is passionate about her profession and committed to those who commit to the program. I believe that is the same attitude of the other trainer's here.

I have been a member at this club for almost 10 years now and the staff is very welcoming and kind. I have two young children that love to go play in the Kids Club. The equipment is well maintained and clean. They have everything you need to get in a great workout. They are happy to accommodate you if you want to attend instructor lead classes, workout on your own, go to the pool, play a game of basketball and much more. I'd highly recommend this club if you are looking for a gym in the Brambleton area.

The basketball courts are always full, they offered me a deal where I'd get a month free and then charged me for that month, and after I cancelled my membership in February, they just charged me for August. Stick to TFE or Gold's, this place will do whatever it can to drain your pockets.

I've been so impressed with the way One Life has taken care of their members and employees throughout the very challenging last 9 months. They addressed membership fees without delay, and adjusted policies to accommodate during closure and reopening. They invested in hospital grade air sanitizing equipment and cleaning solutions, and there is quite literally always someone cleaning. They've worked hard to adhere to government regulations while continuing to provide members with everything they expect from their gym and more. But most impressively, they remain upbeat and positive and KIND.

Onelife Fitness is doing an amazing job during this Pandemic. They are jumping through all the necessary hoops to keep us all safe and healthy during our workouts. They have marked off adjacent equipment to give space between people during their workouts and I have seen all staff members including managers, trainers, and membership consultants whipping down equipment when they have a break between clients or down time. Please keep up the good work and thanks for giving us all a chance to continue to work towards our fitness goals.

Extremely happy to be back at Onelife! The staff is doing an amazing job providing a safe and clean environment for everyone. Plenty of cleaning supplies are located around the gym and members are encouraged to clean equipment before and after use. Great job Onelife!!

I joined One Life in July because the gym I was at was such a mess after covid. I walked into One Life and never looked back they are doing such a great job keeping everything safe and clean all while still having amazing classes on the schedule and the very handy sign up ap for your phone. Terrie Lambert is amazing. She is happy and so sweet all while safely navigating this crazy covid world we are in. I look forward to going everyday and am sad when my class is over and look forward to the next day. Everyone is so nice and Juli Presley does a great job with all the classes there. I highly recommend One Life. It’s my happy place!!!!

Friendly staff, TONS of equipment. The lap pool is just what you need. Outdoor pool looks pretty chill too. I’m even sampled the personal training - definitely a good work out. All that being said, I’m not a fan of the 12 month contract but at like $30/month it’s understandable. And they say that all you need to do to get out of it is show that you’ve moved out of a Xmile radius of the store.

Won’t let my 14 year old teen wait in the waiting area while I work out even once. The general manager says to me, “ he’s not a paid member $$$ and we’re not a babying service.” Canceling this membership immediately. Too crowded all the time with teens chatting casually around all the machines. Done with this organization.

Can't say enough positive things about this location.... During a global pandemic, the team at OneLife Fitness Brambleton consistently does an extraordinary job at keeping the place clean and functional. Regret ever getting a membership from this place. I had just came from life time and it was a smaller/lesser version of it but was still nice. Plus it’s 5 mins from my house whereas life time was 15. I was a student and they had a good deal at the time. I left for school and while I was away for a couple of months, they had attempted to charge my card but I had forgotten that I had a new card. Plus it was my fault for forgetting to cancel. I paid off the balance (which was annoying because I didn’t even attend but whatever, I accepted responsibility). Months later, I was receiving letters from their collections department stating that I owed them money when I specifically asked (the day I went to pay off my balance) if I was good and/or needed to do anything further. Nope, the continued to charge me even though my account manager had told me there was nothing else needed. He then sent me text messages and left VM’s stating that he misinformed me. When I tried to reach back out, he went on mute. This is about Arthur by the way. I kept getting collections letters and even contacted the collections agency. They told me there was nothing they can do — I had to take it up with one life. I sent numerous emails to several department heads and even their GM. I called multiple times as well. NO ONE EVEN CARE TO RESPOND OR REACH BACK OUT. I absolutely WILL NOT pay them A PENNY. I visited that gym literally 5 times in the span of 8 months. Not to mention, one of their trainers fb messaged me asking for money for a personal endeavor. They hire creeps. One Life Brambleton — we can go to court if you’d like because I’m not paying ANYTHING. My brother wanted to join this past week and after speaking to one of their account managers, their “deals” “contract” sound like scams so he went to life time. 3.9 rating people... this gym is barely average.

I've been a member of Onelife Brambleton for about 5 years now and I have nothing but good things to say about this location. The facility had always been clean but they really stepped-up during COVID investing in top notch air sanitizing equipment and cleaning solutions. I can't say enough about feeling like a valued member here. The staff is so welcoming and I feel like we're a fit family unit. Not only has my health benefited from being a member over the years but a lot of the instructors/staff have become apart of my life outside of the gym. The equipment is top notch and the group fitness experience is my ultimate FAVE! I'm truly thankful for my Onelife Brambleton community!

I can't thank you enough for going the extra mile to provide this community with a very clean environment in which we can exercise. I see all of the extra effort to sterilize the areas before and after our classes and workout sessions. I hear every day about the additional steps you take to ensure our safety. I can see that you have added online classes for people who are not able, or feel uncomfortable, outside their homes as well as open door classes with every other piece of machinery available for use. I see continuous cleaning by all of the staff. Thank you for doing so many thin to hinge us this time to be healthy.

I moved to Brambleton in July 2020 and I’m so lucky that I can walk to our neighborhood gym! It’s clean, staff are friendly, and I especially love the group fitness classes. Their app makes it easy to sign up and reserve a spot in advance. In the summer, I love the pool - not too busy and nice and quiet. There are tons of treadmills, ellipticals. I love their stair steppers - sometimes I wish they had a couple more because they are popular. Shoutout to some of my favorite class instructors like Bob, Nikki, Christen, Carmen, Lisa and Cindy! I love all the Les Mills classes! They ask for your feedback and email you and take it seriously. They honestly consider your recommendations. They also email back when you ask about fees. Consistent communication all around.

Today I went to onelife fitness with my brother in Brambleton because it was local to where I live, and my brother requested me to go with him, and get a membership there, my brother also had membership there so i thought if I like I’ll get membership there, when we went there, and I asked for a free trial the manager named Moses immediately denied me and said you have to pay 20 dollars for a free trial, in there website it literally says you can go for a free trial, and he said it in a very rude way! I was like wow!! Pay 20 dollars for a one day trial, and he told me to leave in very bad attitude, so I told my brother to cancel your membership there! Had the worst experience there!!!!! Will never go there in my life!!!

The brambleton location has a great cleaning staff that is always hard at work (unlike other gyms I attended in the past). They also have some unique gym equipment that has made a huge difference in my routine. Staff has been wonderful.
