Really cute concept. Lots of parking for the other businesses in the strip plaza- not as many for this location. I did ask the dentist office if I could park in one of their spaces since they were closing and received permission. They have a limited menu- one of the folks with us didn't like anything they offered for a sandwich offering, luckily he ate prior to visiting. The chocolate chip cookie is actually a chocolate cookie with chocolate- I recommend telling folks this prior to allowing them to spend money on chocolate chip cookies (wait staff description). Disappointed because they were too much chocolate. The small amount of pretzels for $3 needs to be seriously considered again. It doesn't seem commiserate with other offerings and costs. The ham on ciabatta was very tasty and the bbq chips premium taste. The $4 bagel with cream cheese was also good. I would say our server was not attentive. I actually called the store to ask how to order because I couldn't catch her attention, she spent a good amount of time chatting with staff who worked there. Being that it was our first time, I had hoped they would have explained more about expectations and the experience to us. I would go back- but have it spent over $50 for 3 people and only 1 having dinner- i recommend eating prior to going or make plans to eat after. This would be a great place for a large group- if you don't have space in your home.

Great spot for a tabletop fan who finds themselves in Columbus 😊 great selection of snacks, coffees and alcoholic drinks. Really great here that they let the $6 cover charge to play be put towards snacks and drinks and games. Also a big selection of games to buy here and a fantastic atmosphere. Would definitely recommend as a must see for any nerds.

The staff is always extremely helpful, the food and drinks are delicious, and the game selection is mind blowing! Great experience with my son's 13th birthday and the other times we have visited. Such a cool place!!

We went here in a group of 6. Had a blast playing different board games and ordered a couple of beverages and snacks. Patrick, the manager, was absolutely amazing! He provided quick and friendly service with the food/drinks as well as patiently explained to us how to play the board games that we didn’t know. Highly recommend! They’ve a membership option that allows you to lend the games like a library does. They also host parties and team building events.

my boyfriend and i came here as a date idea and though the concept was really cute. we are younger and the demographic when we walked in seemed to be older. as soon as we walked in we were met with disrespect of workers practically yelling at us that we needed masks which we had no problem putting on. then were yelled at again for bringing in outside food which we were not allowed to do which is okay we brought it to the car. we finally got seated after feeling very u comfortable already and could here one of the workers talking literally so bad about us not even ten feet away from the table. laughing and making fun of us so we just got up and left without saying a word. it was honestly a very poor experience. i work in food and customer service. very unprofessional and made us feel very unwelcome.

Great people work there, chill place to play games with the homies. Decent draft and can list, especially for a game cafe. Sandwiches and coffee are a solid option, both punch way over their weight class for the space.

Tabletop Game Café is incredible! They have a massive selection of games (like over 600) that are categorized by difficulty to get into and a staff who is happy to help you choose the right game for you. Oh, and it’s only $5/person as a cover charge, which goes down by $1 for every item you buy. What are those items to buy? There is some excellent food, like sandwiches, snacks, pizza bagels, and some sweets. They also have coffee, teas, sodas, plus beer, mead, some canned cocktails, and more. They also have games and merch you can buy. On top of that, you get table service for all that food and drink from some super friendly folks. If you’re looking for a place to get together with some friends, this is definitely a location you should check out!

I love this place. I was worried that things would change for the worse with the pandemic, but I think they made the cafe even better. The buffalo chicken sandwich is fantastic, and they have a nice selection of craft brews and games of course.

This place was really unique. They have a cover charge per table of $5 per person, but that cover charged comes down $1 for every item you order off the menu. Menu. They have a ridiculous selection of games that you can play, the food is very good, and they are very attentive and helpful. A great place to spend your evening if you love games and the people who play them! Go check this place out if you are in the Columbus area! Their recommendation of Village Pillage was on point just from our description of the kind of games we enjoy. Really is a hidden gem here in town. Thank you so much for creating a space like this. God bless, and I hope you are running strong next time we are in town!

First time here with some friends. We brought our own game, but they have a ton to choose from. We were the "old people" as most seem to be in their 20s. The food was good and the waitress was fantastic. The big negative is the lack of parking.

I used to like coming here. Staff was really rude when I wanted to grab coffee before getting situated. They came off extremely hostile or stressed. I ended up just leaving. I don't feel comfortable coming back.

Tried out their intro to Dungeons and Dragons session tonight and had an absolute blast! The employees were very friendly and engaging. I'm looking forward to coming back again and playing. Plus, they had a great selection of drinks and some solid snack options. Going to try the sandwiches next time. Update: I've been there three times now in total and each time was great. The snacks they provide are great, especially for playing these games. And they're one of the few places in town I can get a Cheerwine, one of my favorite sodas. I'll definitely be coming back more often.

This is a no-frills, casual cafe try out some new games or play an old fave. Sandwiches were super tasty! I recommend the Chickpea Salad. Snacks and sides were basic - just ok. Selection of games isn't huge but we found many that we enjoy and played 3 that were new to us. They are helpfully tagged by # of players and game "weight" (difficult). The space isn't beautifully decorated but if you're there to play, who cares? Clearly they are welcoming to people of all stripes and that lent the place a homey, friendly, and comfortable vibe which we loved. Parking in front is limited. More parking available in back of the building on Cooke Way. We would like to return and try some of those tasty looking grown up drinks!

This place is awesome and the staff are lovely humans. I love bringing new people of all ages here! Also the location is perfect for students/people without cars as it’s right on the #2 COTA line. The chai is fantastic, I literally thought about it for two years in between visits. The healthy snacks (carrots w hummus, cukes, etc) were a bit overpriced but the pesto chicken and pizza bagels were tasty for a very reasonable price.

Tons of games to play and a nice selection of simple food. The Hummus plate was yummy and the pizza bagel hit great as a reminder of childhood. Tons of games of all complexities, couples sizes and ages. Great for families or date nights

Cute location with tons of board and card games to play while having drinks with friends! They have food as well but I didn't have any during my visit. Great visit for those who want to try out games before buying.

I didn't try any of the food, but the workers were all very kind and checked on us constantly. They have a pretty good beer selection, as well as other drinks. The game selection is pretty extensive, there were a few hundred easily.

Really cool spot! I was impressed by the service and pleasantly surprised that I was able to order a sandwich as a vegan. I ordered the chickpea salad sandwich, which came on a ciabatta roll with chips. A friend ordered a latte and they even drew dice latte art. Parking is somewhat limited, but I was able to park on the side of the shopping center. My group didn't check out the games, as we came to play Dnd, but it looked like they had a lot of options.

$5 cover charge is more than worth it. A lot of really fun games easy to access and the staff is super knowledgeable on a lot of them. Great place to hang out, greater place to play games.

I came here to print some documents, do EMT homework, and get a coffee. This place is so relaxing with lofi music and a comfortably lit atmosphere that i actually got my work done without wanting to cry. The service was so welcoming, this drink is extraordinary, and i look forward to coming back with friends who will play DnD. Great job, guys!

Fun place, good snacks, good drinks, fun games. My only thing - those tall stools are not very comfortable to sit in for a while. But still had a blast, will definitely visit again!

Just reserved Table top cafe for a birthday party and it was amazing! Highly recommend as both a fun hang-out spot and as a place for future parties or gatherings! I have always enjoyed going here to hang out and play board games with friends, while drinking coffee and beer! The food and drinks are delicious and affordable! Great game selection too! The staff always gives helpful gaming suggestions and even help with rules for games. We had a party there this past week. We had 30+ people who were able to social distance very easily and the place can easily fit more than twice that number. The staff was amazing and super accommodating! The snack-spread they offered for guests was perfect!

One of my favorite places in Columbus. Friendly and personable staff. Everything is reasonably priced, and they have a wide variety of board games. I'm sure there's something for everyone here.

The staff was super friendly, prices were reasonable, and the wall of games had plenty to choose from, even for my 5-year-old. The food quality and selection is only okay, but there was plenty to make a kid happy. They had a better selection of drinks and snacks than mealtime food. It is a great place to spend some quality time, whether it is with adults or little ones.

Our first time at Tabletop Game Cafe has us bummed that we don’t have one in our hometown! A super friendly staff member (Pat) explained how it all works, went over game recommendations, and explained how to play the one we chose. He continued to help us when we had questions, and the food wasn’t bad either! We had a blast!

I would have loved to rate this higher. I love the concept of being able to play board games and eating at the same place. Problem was the menu was very limited. I ended up getting a pizza bagel, a bottled soda, and some chips. The bagel was messy and greasy - maybe not the best thing to pair with a board game. I would love to see more food options.
