Little Seneca Animal Hospital

Veterinarian Animal hospital Emergency veterinarian service

👍👍 I brought my 14-year old, first baby boy, mix shetland sheepdog here for an emergency 3 weeks ago. He was very lethargic, weak, nothing like I had ever seen from him. Of course I was a mess. The nurse on the line, as well as when I arrived was so very sympathetic, asked the most thorough questions.... People often mention care, staff, LeVora, recommend, visit, Seneca, time, Animal, Hospital, Visit,

LSAH is a great place for your pets! They have taken care of our dog for the last 7 yrs and we have been very happy. The staff is wonderful. It is always welcoming. They all care about the animals in their care. Would not go anywhere else.

I brought my 14-year old, first baby boy, mix shetland sheepdog here for an emergency 3 weeks ago. He was very lethargic, weak, nothing like I had ever seen from him. Of course I was a mess. The nurse on the line, as well as when I arrived was so very sympathetic, asked the most thorough questions. After he was looked after, the dr called us with the devastating news. It was a terrible couple of days having to make the decision to put him down, but this vet went above and beyond in what I ever expected from a veterinarian clinic. They not only showed care for my baby boy, they were more than empathetic to our situation. After about a week, they provided us with his ashes, and even mailed us a card that everyone signed. I will never forget the experience I had with them. Thank you all for making the devastating situation for us, as smooth and kind as possible <3

In 20 years I have used 4 vets in Montgomery County. These are the only folks in the entire area I trust with my pets' lives! They are genuinely caring and I can tell they love their patients! They have the best new equipment and practice the best new veterinary science and most importantly, have the very, very best doctors. Dr. Lahora had been able to determine my dog's unusual problems on 3 occasions! The staff is kind and efficient. They persist in finding my pet's ailment and then they make them well. They don't recommend costly, unnecessary procedures but they take my concerns seriously and will recommend needed care. They follow up with me after every sick visit. The place is clean and pleasant. I think that what endears me the most is that they will always find time to fit my pet in the very same day if they are sick! 😊

Yesterday, I brought my Labrador Retriever to Little Seneca Animal Hospital for an emergancy, because his other vet didn't have appointments available. When we arrived, we were attended very quickly, they asked many questions as it was our first time, then brought him in. After a few minutes, the Doctor came and said everything that's wrong with the dog and did an X-Ray, aswell as gave him 2 injections to prevent nausea and diarrhea on him. The doctor answered all our questions with very direct and understandable answers. About 5 minutes later, we were given Canned Food and Instructions to give him the Canned Food for 4 days aswell as pills. The price was outstanding and not too expensive. Little Seneca Animal Hospital is very High Quality, Professional and Reliable, they took very good care of my dog, he came back home Happy after his visit. I HIGHLY recommend Little Seneca Animal Hospital.

We have been very happy fur parents! We have two dogs and three cats. Unfortunately, we have lost some along the way as well. The staff and doctors are amazing. They are always concerned and in our best interest. They know us and our pets and give special attention to all of their patients. Through out the years, we have had issues and they have always been there for us with support and solutions. They always fit us in if we need an important appointment. Friendly and caring clinic, I highly recommend them!

We recently had an emergency with our 11 year old Collie/Lab mix Murphy, he has a tumor on his spleen. LSAH and Dr. LeVora were recommended to me by a colleague so I called. 1st, they got us in the next day to be seen and have some tests. Karen was super friendly and thorough, she got all of our records from our other vet for us and was listening to what we had to say and how we felt. Karen was genuine and caring, as well as professional and helpful. Dr. LeVora also came to speak to us about his findings, he too was like Karen and was concerned but laid out a clear path of options and choices to make. This is no easy case and there was no clear cut "right answer" but we received good information to make a decision. The next day on a Saturday, Dr. LeVora called me to discuss Murphy's tests, what they meant, and our options. We decided to get another test from a specialist for some more info and clarity, unfortunately this is a tough case. Dr. LeVora then on a weekday around 7pm on the day of the test, made some calls to his staff and prepared his office to have surgery for us the next day if we chose to. This was all being done in less than 24hrs, I never had seen this before. The bottom line is I have had pets my whole life and I can't recall a more genuine group of medical professionals, I would highly recommend them. I live 1 hour from LSAH and I would gladly drive there any time day/night for my furry family members.

Dr. LeVora, Dr. Betsy, Lindsay, and the whole team have been absolutely incredible. We’ve spent the past month back and forth to their office with our sweet boy, who ultimately went over the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. They’ve all been incredibly thoughtful and compassionate at every step, and I can’t imagine having gone through this tough time with any other practice. Thank you guys for all you do.

Dr. Brad LaVora & Dr. Betsy Stiefvater have been outstanding and caring vets!!! We have been bringing our rabbits and our dogs to them for care since the early 90's. The doctors and staff at Little Seneca Animal Hospital are very compassionate, caring, informative and treat our animals with love and respect! Through the years we have had to make some major decisions on the care of our animals and they have guided us through each step to help us reach the right decisions for the care our animals. Our dogs love coming for the treatment and routine check ups from the staff and especially enjoy their treats they get for good behavior!!! Thanks again to All the Staff at Little Seneca for the hard work and compassionate care that you do and give. We greatly appreciate it! Jen & Kate

Prior to my scheduled appointment, I called LSAH and inquired about prices and rates for specific vaccinations my 3 month old puppy needed. The administrative staff, Karyn, provided 2 invoices, a First Visit and Second Visit invoice. In reviewing the First Visit invoice, it reflects the vaccinations I requested in addition to the standard New patient examination. However, I noticed that an additional exam, Fecal Examination-Flotation, that was aslo included on the First Visit invoice. Fine. In looking at the Seond Visit form, I noticed that a second examination, Annual Wellness, I reflected on the invoice in addition to the continued series of vaccinations for my pup. Again, fine. These are only invoice quotes for requested service (1st visit totaled approx $148 and 2nd visit totaled approx $136). Nevertheless, on the day of my scheduled appointment, it was very overwhelming and disappointing. I'm grateful for the information provided. However, once the technician completed the overview of pet health, things moved so fast. I informed the tech that my Visit was precisely for the second series of a vaccination and for the initial examination. When veterinarian entered the exam room and checked my pups ears, he stated that my pup has an ear infection in both ears, but more inflamed in the right ear (btw second vet opinion indicated that my pup DOES NOT have an ear infection). He prescribed ear drops. He then told me to get insurance for my pup by my next visit which I understand may be needed for the overall Wellness on my pup given that he doesn't have any preexisting conditions. Two things that was frustrating with this visit. What I requested (vaccinations was not honored resulting in an actual bill of $225 and upon leaving, the administrative staff proceeded to take my pup from me until I completed my payment (WTH!!). Now I'm not sure what that was about but I most definitely will not return as a result of the pressure I experienced as a new pet mom and the rush to implement things I didn't approve.

Everyone at Little Seneca Animal Hospital took great care of our 18-year old cat, Gemma, during her recent visit. She was having balance issues, and we were able to schedule an appointment the same day here while her regular vet was unavailable. We got Gemma's blood work results within the hour, and discovered her thyroid numbers were very high. Gemma is doing much better after adjusting her medication, and Little Seneca Animal Hospital has followed-up multiple times to see how she is doing. I highly recommend this business, as they will provide the highest quality care for your pet.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I have been a pet patient of Dr. LeVora since 1999. Today, he and his staff let me down when my 12 year old 50 lb. dog died unexpectedly and suddenly in my arms at home. I could not pick her up or transport her. The staff was not able to help me in this crisis.... I was told the practice had been sold and there was nothing they could do. They could not come to my home to help me. With my previous elderly dog suffering from CHF, Dr. LeVora graciously came to my home to humanely euthanize her and take her for cremation. Therefore, I would not recommend this "new version" of the practice to any loving pet parent.

So thankful for the wonderful care Lincoln received from Dr. LeVora, Karyn, Julia and the team. Lincoln was a senior cat with advanced kidney disease. I really appreciate the time Dr. LeVora took to determine what was best for Lincoln’s dietary and medical needs while maintaining her positive quality of life. When it was time to let Lincoln go, the compassion and care Lincoln received was amazing. Thank you so much.

My dog was lame and in pain and they saw him the day I called for diagnosis and treatment. Dr. LeVora explained everything perfectly and the staff was very friendly and professional. The place was very clean too! I highly recommend them.
