    Our Family had the Worst Experience here we took our dogs 2 Goldens Retriever and 1 Husky at 2:50pm they said that they will call me to let me know when they were ready. It was 6:45pm and we call to ask if they were ready since we knew they were closing at 7pm the employee name Marissa was taking care of our dogs and she informed us that she was still working on one dog and it would take 30 mins for her to finish ,that she would call us to let us when she was done . So we waited for our call ,and no one called , we started to call and no one was picking up so we rushed to PetSmart Grooming and we saw that the place was close and locked and the lights were shut off so we ask the cashier . She informed us that Marissa had left but someone will come to give us our dogs , we waited for 15 minutes for someone to finally open the door and when you enter you could hear our dogs crying so loud. Apparently Marissa had Left at 7pm and it was now 8pm and not even the manager was notify that they were dogs there . The manager (JOSE)didn’t even know she had left. Our dogs were crying so loud and their eyes were swollen and they seem anxious and scared. This place is Unprofessional no one cares about the dogs and they leave them unattended crying for an hour and no one cared . Even the manager did not give us a call NO ONE . WORST PLACE TO TAKE YOUR DOGS I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE . We will be waiting for Corporate to call us and give us an Explanation. We want would like the person responsable like SOPHIA the Manager and her Employee MARISSA , to take responsibility on their lack of care for our pets.

    We have been taking out dog to the grooming department here since she was a puppy (9 years). Today we scheduled a last minute appointment to get her groomed. We had an incident a few months ago when a groomer had called us and said that our dog was no longer welcome there due to biting during her appointment. I know my dog and I know she can get nippy when her nails are being cut and her back legs are sensitive. I always make sure to warn whomever I talk to when I drop her off and let them know and that she is extremely food motivated and they can do what they need to do to get the job done. We called back and spoke to the manager and we were apologized to and the manager said that this groomer had no authority to declare that she is not welcome back and had no permission to do so. We were given a discount on our services that day. Today we went in and it was the same groomer that we previously had an issue with. She said she was not comfortable grooming our dog, understandable, but frustrating that we were able to make this appointment and I wasted time out of my day to take her in just to have to reschedule for another day. I expressed a little of my frustration and that I was aware of the issue we had with her last time and we had spoken to the manger about it about it at the time. She said “well there’s only one or two groomers here that are willing to groom her” which surprised me because this is the first time I had been informed of this. After less than a minute of conversation she suggested giving me a list of vets we could take her to get groomed. After this I said thank you I will not be coming back. After returning home we called back and she tried to back track and “mend the situation”. I personally find this extremely unprofessional. We have been taking our dog here for at the least 9 years, and all of a sudden it is an issue. I know there are good groomers who do work there and I appreciate them for that. But because of this I will not be taking my dog back to this location due to the lack of communication and unprofessionalism.

    Paid $120 and all they did was use ice cold water, no shampoo, no nail service, no hair dryer, no Bandanna! We picked up our dog expecting him to smell like maybe shampoo but instead smelled like a typical wet dog, his nails were a disaster with splinters everywhere. I called the manager when we got home and he left us on hold for 30 min the the line disconnects, he knew who we were and didn’t even bother to call back It’s our mistake because Sterling is such a bad area we should have know it would hire gang members versus areas like Reston and Vienna I added a photo of how they presented our dog to us

    The never ending grooming experience. This place will cancel on you multiple times, then get mad at you what a rude experience. they don’t care about dogs and the only reason I even come is because they messed up so many time that it’s free but I’m tired of waiting for an appointment so I’m going to do the work myself

    I am very dissatisfied with the service Vs the grooming payment for my dog. Initially I had set aside 81 dollars for grooming, bath, nails, other things and an extra service of 12 dollars for my dog. Being aware that I had knots, not many enough for me to arrive at the store and the woman who served me told me that I must pay 20 dollars more so that they untangle my chest hair with a brush, I still accepted so that they would not leave it without hair . But I pick up my dog ​​and they give it to me completely bare, I can see the color of the skin. What an insufficient and unprofessional service, do you need a clean and untangled dog to leave it normal? My dog ​​was not so entangled that they left it the way they left it, I ask for the return of the 20 dollars, because to leave my dog ​​like this, I would have taken it to any grooming on the street and I do it myself buying a machine shaving. What a lack of professionalism. They definitely don't know how to work and are looking for the easiest solution. And additional they left it uneven. some badly long pieces and others shorter, it shows on his face. They should return all the money.

    I really like the store in Sterling and The Banfield pet hospital is wonderful,helpful and vets are incredible.The staff is always accomading and very nice

    I tried to exchange dog food this morning. I didn't want to return for cash. I bought the food there but because I had no proof I bought it there I couldn't exchange. The food I was bringing back was on the shelf so it wasn't like they didn't carry that brand of food. I was also returning same brand and size I wanted to go home with. You have lost a customer for good. You are surrounded by other pet stores so one would think you would work hard to keep the customers.

    Employee was extremely rude. I bought a dog tag and by the time I checked out they were closing. Due to me being there I wanted to put my dogs info on his tag since I was already there. He ran up to me to tell me “legally he can not let me be in the store past closing time (7)”. But he could check me out at 7:05 with no issue. Huge inconvenience.

    Appointment was 7 am. I arrived there and no one was there. Store employee says that grooming opens at 8 am. I went back home to verify with my wife that it is 7 am. I return and is now 7:15 am, then they tell me that I need to have the rabbis vaccine document. I go back home and return with the document within 10 min. She tells me that I am half hour late and she has to cancel my appointment. Very unprofessional. At 7:15 am she should have already told me this. I was on time at 7 am but she wasn’t and caused me to go home to verify the appointment time because Petsmart employee said that grooming opens at 8 am.

    Didn't realize Pet Smart was so expensive compared to Amazon, Walmart, Target, Marshalls, etc... Basically, everywhere else is cheaper than Pet Smart! Friendly service though.

    Very disappointed in the grooming services and was told if tangled again to go somewhere else! So I have no choice but to say what poor service! Evidently they don't need your money and no way my dogs ears were cleaned! She was shaking her head alot when I picked her up and once I checked I saw why! Shame on you! And never been told my dog was acting up in a kennel!

    Everyone was so friendly and kind, went above and beyond to help schedule my two dogs at the same time for grooming which really helped me out! I know my dogs are big fluffy handfuls, but they really provided great care for them and did a quality job with grooming them.

    They just updated the fish tanks and it looks beautiful! We have been to this location multiple times. It is always clean and we are always able to find an employee to help us get a fish or some snails.

    Great Custumer service. I recently had surgery and cant drive. I order my dogs food and got the wrong one because when Added to the cart it change some how. I call the store and Richard help me by sending the correct food to my house free of charge. I was so grateful this was a last minute purchase and my dog had no food.

    Three grooming visits, thee bad experiences. PetSmart's online reporting system directed me here. Yes. PetSmart sux. Their value proposition is knowledge and their employees often do not have it. There is nothing in stock that is not available elsewhere at a lower price. And they asked me to tell you that I am not willing to be their customer. Go figure.

    I would not recommend taking your dog here to be groomed. The main store is great. Every time I take my dog, I ask them to wash them and trim their nails. The dogs smell after one day, and they do not trim their nails correctly or at all.

    We brought our bernadoodle in with some small tangles in her hair on her legs and they decided the only option was to SHAVE her. She also left her wash and groom smelling terrible. Would not recommend these groomers for doodle hair.

    Appointment was 8 am for grooming. I arrived there and doors are closed. Store apparently does not open until 9 am. Wondering why I can book 8 am appointment if store is closed. I went back home and returned at 9 am. She tells me that I am late and my appointment was cancelled. I replied that i was here at 8 but the store was closed. I was rudely told that i should have seen the small sign LEFT of the big doors (i.e. not near the hours sign) that said ring doorbell outside of hours. At no time during the booking process was this stated AT ALL. Was told the best they could do was reschedule for SEVERAL days later. Very unprofessional.

    I go to pet smart often. There are not many associates working the floor to greet you as you enter but I also never have a problem finding one to assist when needed. The cashiers are typically always pleasant as well.

    I have come here quite a few times and have always found what I was looking for. The customer service had always been great. I have brought my dog in for his nail trimming and they have done a great job at it. He absolutely hates the whole process, but they do really well with calming him. I did take him here once to do a wash and dry and nail trim, but that process took over an hour so I haven't been back to do that again. They have plenty of parking and places outside with bags to pick up after your dog as well.

    I brought my Golden doodle puppy here and as soon as we walked in she pooped on the floor. I was so embarrassed. One of the staff members came right over and cleaned it up and didn't make me feel bad.

    Horrible grooming service. We had our Cavapoo's haircut here. They did not follow the instructions I gave, rather shaved all his face hair. We mentioned it specifically not to cut his face hair, his tail hair was uneven, his teeth are not cleaned at all !!! When we gave the lady our feedback, she asked who did his haircut, which we told her, and the groomer, who did his hair cut, was standing there and denied it!!! I would not recommend visiting this location.

    Great place with great staff. I've never had a problem at this location and you can always find someone if you need something. Prices seem relatively competitive for what's on offer, but higher than Walmart. Regardless, I always buy pet food here since every bag of food you buy they donate a meal to an animal in need. Another bonus is you get to see a whole bunch of doggos in the store!!!!

    I purchased fish at the Leesburg location on Wednesday 7/6, they tested my water and the levels were good. I had also got my water tested the week prior and it was fine then as well. The following morning 7/7, I noticed 3 of fish had died. I brought the fish, along with the aquarium water to the Petsmart in Sterling on Thursday 7/7 to get the fish replaced, with my receipt. I handed off the items and walked over to look at fish while they tested and evaluated. She came over and said the hardness of the water was through the roof and chlorine was detected in the water. She threw out the fish and said they couldn't be replaced and I couldn't get any new fish because of the water quality. I knew this was impossible because I got my water tested literally 24 hours ago. I bought a water test kit and went home and tested my water. The test results matched the results from Leesburg on 7/6. My water was completely fine. So I wasn't able to get replacement fish.
