I
would
first
like
to
say
I
have
enjoyed
my
time
at
Crossfit
Grandivew.
I
have
been
a
member
for
over
two
years
now.
I
usually
attend
the
afternoon
and
evening
classes.
I
am
not
a
professional
crossfitter
but
I
have
an
appreciation
for
the
intensity
and
camaraderie
in
this
sport.
I
have
also
been
a
member
of
two
other
crossfit
gyms
within
Ohio
and
this
one
I
would
say
ranks
second
among
the
three
I
have
had
the
experience
to
be
apart
of.
The
people
here
are
all
very
nice
and
welcoming.
It
is
an
inclusive
atmosphere.
I
will
break
down
this
review
in
two
separate
categories
by
facility,
class
experience.
Facility:
The
new
facility
is
a
major
upgrade
form
the
previous
facility.
You
now
have
showers,
multiple
stalls,
and
separate
bathrooms
for
men
and
woman.
It
also
seems
to
be
more
clean
and
sterile.
The
classes
are
divided
into
squares
so
everyone
has
their
own
area,
which
is
nice.
The
equipment
is
in
really
good
shape
considering
the
amount
of
participants
this
gym
sees
on
a
daily
basis.
There
are
also
more
than
one
drinking
fountain
which
is
an
upgrade.
However,
it
doesn’t
appear
they
change
the
filters
very
often
for
the
water.
The
cost
is
approximately
$130-$140
for
the
crossfit
side.
The
other
side
is
Grandview
Barbell,
which
is
a
nice
addition.
That
membership
is
approximately
$125.
If
you
pay
for
crossfit
classes
and
want
24/7
access
to
barbell
as
well,
you
will
pay
the
crossfit
fee
and
an
additional
$35-$40.
Which
is
another
issue
I
have
with
the
gym.
If
you
are
paying
for
the
crossfit
side,
you
should
have
automatic
access
to
the
barbell
side
(weights
and
equipment).
I
hope
they
consider
changing
this,
but
with
the
new
facility,
you
can
tell
they
are
running
a
business
and
need
the
extra
income.
The
clock
and
TV
placement
throughout
the
new
facility
makes
very
little
sense.
There
should
be
multiple
TV’s
and
clocks
placed
throughout
for
every
participant
to
see.
Again,
these
are
all
timed
workouts.
Key
takeaway:
include
barbell
equipment
when
you’re
paying
full
price
for
the
crossfit
classes.
Class
experience:
Over
the
last
two
years
there
have
been
multiple
instructors
coaching
these
classes.
By
far,
the
best
and
most
passionate
is
Brandon
(the
owner).
He
is
the
lifeblood
and
glue
that
holds
this
gym
together.
Over
the
last
6
months
he
has
stopped
coaching
and
decided
to
spend
more
time
with
his
family.
Brandon
was
always
willing
to
help
a
participant
with
their
form
and
achieve
their
personal
goals.
The
other
coaches
do
not
take
this
approach.
They
want
you
to
book
a
personal
training
session
and
spend
more
money
if
they
are
going
to
help
you.
This
is
very
apparent.
The
other
coaches
that
I
have
experienced
are
James,
Drake,
and
Scott.
The
class
sizes
are
anywhere
from
15-30
people
depending
on
the
time
you
attend.
One
point
I
would
like
to
make
is
the
music
in
this
gym
is
sometimes
tough
to
listen
to.
Each
coach
plays
different
music.
It
is
along
the
lines
of
an
upbeat
mix
where
songs
will
last
30
seconds
and
then
switch.
A
lot
of
the
time
it
is
also
techno
or
EDM
music/mixes.
It
makes
it
very
difficult
to
get
into
a
rhythm
and
push
yourself
within
the
workout.
I
have
seen
many
members
bring
headphones
instead
of
listening
to
the
class
music.
Overall,
the
gym
is
a
great
experience
if
you
are
in
the
central
Ohio
region.
If
you
want
to
say
you
do
crossfit
and
work
on
some
movements,
this
gym
is
for
you.
